I got them from Angie's List. He did the entire house within a day or two, and he finished it off within a weekend.

I have used McCleary Painting several times for painting services. They show up on time, are clean, did all I asked and more. They painted the exterior of my historic home in five different colors. They performed repairs to complete the paint job as needed. The price was extremely good compared to other companies.

They worked 5 hours and all they have been painted very precisely and perfectly. They did not get any paint stains on our house and I really appreciate their accuracy of the paint job.

I was very pleased with every aspect of the service from initial contact to clean-up, including a very reasonable price. The work has held up very well and I'd use McCleary painting again for any household painting job. I gave him all A's and I'm a tough grader.

I called Mark about 10 months ago and arranged for a paint quote. I also received estimates from five other Angie's List painting contractors and 2 yelp contractors. I called Mark in early July and scheduled a painting appointment for mid August. Mark's estimate wasn't the cheapest, but certainly by any measure provided me with the MOST VALUE. Painting contractors are a dime a dozen, but true professionals like Mark are indeed a rare breed. Mark has over two decades of painting experience and is very well reviewed on Angie's List and Yelp. I was also impressed by Mark's character - calm, professional and very knowledgeable. I like dealing with business owners and not salespeople. Mark is a no nonsense pragmatic business owner, who stands by his work. Too many companies send over their and quot;wet behind the earsand quot; salespeople to give quotes. Mark personally showed up. I was also very impressed by his team - Juan and Joshua. The guys were courteous, focused, efficient and diligent. I can tell Mark has taken great care in selecting team members his clients would feel comfortable having in their home. My interior painting job was complicated by my interior designer's suggestions of color. Even though my interior designer displayed a rather feisty attitude towards him, he remained calm and professional towards her. After Mark and his team started to put up my designer's color scheme, I realized the colors were atrocious. I turned to Mark and asked for his advice. I liked what he suggested and implemented his plan. He was very calm and professional when I scraped plan A and switched to plan B. His levelheadedness suggests , he has dealt with far more serious calamities. The McCleary team finished the job as promised. Mark came back early Saturday morning to go over his work. He and I then walked the entire house to make certain the job was done to my complete satisfaction. Mark takes great pride in his work and will do what is necessary to get the job done right. Mark will certainly receive my business in the future. He doesn't take the money and run. He makes sure he a has a happy client.

Was second lowest of three estimates (lowest never replied back). Scheduled job for 2 months away because contractor was busy. Never heard from him again. Now starting estimate process all over and is bad weather.

Mark did an outstanding job painting most of the interior of our new home before we moved in. He seriously exceeded our expectations in terms of time, did a thorough job, left no mess, just a quality paint job. We had some specific requests to preserve a and quot;growth chartand quot; that was started by the previous owners and he did a terrific job blending in the new paint. There was a miscommunication on one of the paint finishes but he just picked up the correct finish and continued on - no hassle. I highly recommend McCleary Painting - they were truly a joy to work with.

The whole job went extremely well overall, and I'd have no hesitation in using this company again or recommending them to others. The crew was on time, polite, and tidy. The price was reasonable compared to my other quotes. The job took exactly as long as I was promised. I was also able to communicate primarily by email, which made things that much simpler because we had no need to play phone tag. Regarding the work, I had selected a different color in each room, and they all went on properly. In fact, one of the bedrooms was a dark burgundy and required several coats, and it came out beautifully.

The vendor arrived a few minutes early to provide the estimate. He was polite and professional, but just did not seem as thorough as the other vendors from whom we received quotes. The quote was equal in cost to some of the other vendors, but becuase the quote contained quite a bit less detail regarding the actual work to be done, we selected a different vendor.

The owner, Mark McCreary helped us pick out colors that we liked. Then on Monday morning they were there to pressure wash the house. They let it dry the next day and then we missed Wednesday because it drizzled. On Thursday morning, by the time I got out at 9 AM to see how it was going, they had already painted two side of the house. They finished Friday afternoon right on schedule. The workmanship is excellent. Everything was painted the color we wanted. They continually kept us involved to make sure that we were happy and that each detail was painted the color we wanted. The whole process was painless. We are very happy with the new look and will recommend Mark and his crew. It was just a great experience.

I have a small (1050 sq ft) home that had not been painted (exterior) in the 20 years I've lived here. The walls needed a lot of prep work, due to (1) stucco cracks, some fairly large, due to settling common in this neighborhood, and (2) residue from ivy which covered one wall, removed many years ago. I got five painting bids. Mark's (McCleary) bid was in the middle. Mark gave me the best information about how he was going to prep the cracks, and he was the only contractor to mention the EPA requirements for removing existing lead-based paint (one small area had peeling paint; fortunately the area was small enough it did not require testing). He was also responsive to questions I emailed him. For these reasons I chose McCleary Painting. The first morning, Mark power-washed the house. What he didn't warn me about, and I didn't think to ask about, is that with the imperfect seal of my old (1947) house windows, the power washing blew water and dirt from the sill into the house. Noticing that, I ran around stuffing towels under the bottom window to form a better seal, but some water and dirt still got in. The next day he filled cracks and scraped walls. Mark told me that because of the many small cracks, he decided to use elastomeric paint instead of the acrylic originally bid, at no additional cost to me. I appreciated that gesture. The third day, Mark and his team painted the walls, and the fourth day they painted the trim. Over all, the work was excellent. There were a couple of small places where they didn't do something as I thought they should have, but as soon as I pointed them out they did them right away. Bottom line: The house looks great, I am happy to recommend McCleary Painting, and I will definitely call them again when I'm looking to have interior work done.

Very well. Mark McCleary is quick to respond, gives a detailed estimate, easy to reach, was always on time and finished early! They did a good job and didn't leave a mess. Considering there was a lot of wallpaper removed, I was surprised there was not a mess.

They were very cooperative in scheduling. They had to come back a second time and they were very flexible. They did a very nice job. They had a very competitive price. I would have preferred thicker paint applied in some areas.

They were responsive to our suggestions: put extra coats in where we felt was needed. Very punctual. Overall, we were happy with the work.

After checking Angie's List, we contacted three painters for bids to paint the exterior of our home. Upon meeting and talking to Mark, we decided to contract his services because of his pricing and his responsiveness. Mark and crew showed up at 7am on Monday morning, Dec, 27th. He asked a couple of clarifying questions and then went to work with his crew. Throughout the week they dodged rain to finish up with what amounted to about four days of work (minus two half days of rain). Mark or his crew occasionally asked for clarification on aspects of the job which helped insure the final product was what we intended. The entire crew was respectful of both our family and our neighbors (remembering this was a holiday week for lots of folks). There were a couple of spots that didn't look completely covered to me and one tiny piece of door trim was missed. One call to Mark and he popped in for a few minutes with a bucket and brush and touched up the areas in need. Mark took care of this quickly and with a very customer satisfaction-focused attitude. We are very pleased with the work and will both refer Mark to our neighbor's/friends and also contract his services when we pain the interior of our home. Overall, the experience was very positive and the price very reasonable.

The cost estimate was fair and the final price was just as estimated. The quality of the work and my overall satisfaction is described above.

They were timely and the painters were very polite and professional. they always cleaned up after themselves and were very quick and efficient. I would certainly recommend them and use them again. Top notch service.

He paid attention to detail and he did exactly what we asked of him. He listened to what we wanted then carried it out. He does a good job but I think he's probably a little bit expensive.

I contacted him through Angie's List, and got a response back right away. We arranged a time to meet -- he was right on time (that meeting and all others). He got me a quote quickly and was flexible in his start date.
