Jordan is not only professional but very personable also. He was prompt and quickly and efficiently replaced my sprinkler control panel and a valve He even programmed it for me. He took the time to answer all my sprinkler and watering questions even though they were not part the original project When I asked him what else he did he simply asked what I needed done. I preceded to give him my "honey do" list to include carpentry and he said he could do it and would work up the cost analysis. He's a keeper. As for the cost for my original need it was much lower than I expected to pay.

I had a very different experience with this company. Jordan gave me a quote of $1400 to clean up my yard and "trim" my trees and bushes. From the start, I felt like an afterthought. I initially had to postpone a week; and thereafter he was always busy with another job--twice sending out one guy with no equipment and no idea of what to do. Then, when he finally came out, the job he did was horrible. I do not believe he has any knowledge of tree care. The "trimming" he did was ridiculous. He removed branches in awkward ways and left the dead branches and sucklings there. He left branches on laying on electrical wires. Some of the branches look ripped off. He trimmed a part of the bushes and then left the other 3/4 untouched. . The yard "cleanup" did not include any raking or removal of anything. He was here less than 6 hours, and a lot of that time was spent repairing his equipment. I did not watch them working, so I do not know exactly what he did during those 6 hours, but I was in the house, and every time I looked out I saw 3 of the 4 watching the 1 working (usually repairing his weedeater or saw). When I complained that it looked as if nothing had been done, he said that he had made 4 trips to the dumps. When I did the math, since it is about an hour trip to the dumps, and since several of them were on a dump run the one time I checked with him--that would have left the actual work time at about two hours--during which I know they took at least one break. I am a small business owner, and out of respect (and also embarrassment at how bad their work was) I paid him before he finished hauling off the stuff he said he'd take. My thinking was since there had been so many delays he probably needed it--and I thought that by doing this as well as making my dissatisfaction known to him, I would be giving him the best chance of making it right. I did not think he would cash the check until he had finished; but he did, and he also claimed that I "must have been satisfied because I paid him." I only got him to come and take the 1 truck load of stuff by threatening him with a bad review. And even then he only took some. So if the yard cleanup doesn't include any cleaning of the ground or removal of dead leaves or anything, etc what does it include? And if the tree trimming doesn't include pruning--same question. The only thing that he took was the very minimal amount he cut off the trees and bushes. He apparently feels entitled to take $1400 for less than 2 actual hours of (badly done) work. He was not at all concerned about anything but getting the money and getting gone. I thought I was hiring a competent person with top notch equipment. At the time that he bid the job he was pulling a nice big chipper behind his truck, but I never saw that or any other equipment--not even rakes--the only things I saw were a weed eater, a blower, and a chain saw--all of which broke down (and were extensively worked on) at least once while he was here. Jordon, and his helper, removed two huge palm trees and a variety of shrubs and rose bushes that had been in place for over thirty years. They did it quickly and efficiently and left my yard clean and the side yards clear of over twenty years of accumulated crap. I will be calling Jordan for any and all future landscaping needs.
