Yari's Maids

Punctuality is a huge problem for them. They used to come around Noon. They gradually slipped later and later. Today (their final day, I had to send them away) they came at 4:30 PM, when I've started cooking for dinner guests. Despite my call, I got voicemail and no call back.

The first time they came they were 1 1/2 hours late. The second time they came they were an hour late. I had a hard time communicating with the woman in charge by texting. Once they got to my house, they did a good job cleaning.

Delia's team is fantastic! We come home to a sparkling clean home weekly and have been doing so for 3+ years! They have NEVER missed a week, are prompt and courteous and most importantly, do a GREAT job. They are trustworthy as well. We aren't generally around when they come, they let themselves in, do the job and lock up on the way out. We LOVE the service and the team - thanks for making this family HAPPY!!

Yari's Maids were extremely professional, friendly, and efficient. They outlined everything they were going to do and asked questions when necessary. They accommodated my admittedly slightly OCD requests. I work from home and never felt uncomfortable. I highly recommend!

It was good, the girls were polite and didn't complain if I found something lacking. They would come and try to redo. I just had two issues, the owner or manager who came to give the price quote, never came to check how her girls were working which made it difficult for me to talk about things they were not doing because she had no way of knowing I was being truthful in case the girls say they did everything. Another thing was, she never picked up her phone or called back after that first meeting. I always had to text her and get a short text reply. I felt like the girls would have provided more quality work if she was more involved in this. I received their service almost 6-7 times but she was never present in person or over the phone to listen to any feedback. And at the end abruptly stopped the service saying they didn't work in my area anymore. I was left looking for another service at the last minute. So, overall they are good but make sure you are clear on important issues on that first meet-up, as you will never see or talk to her anymore after that.

So we just moved in to a house that is newly renovated (3100 sq ft). There were construction dusts in each cabinet drawers (and we have a LOT of them), but overall, our place is clean. There were boxes around from the move, minimal furnitures, so not a whole of obstruction. I received two quotes, and both said that my situation would need a "new construction cleaning" which is different from "deep cleaning". It's a lot more expensive, because they said, that it's because the dust coagulates differently when wiped. Anyway, the quotes are very comparable. I went with Yari's because it seems like they have more A+ reviews compared to the other. They were able to come in the following day. There were 3 of them. Took them about 3-4 hours for the whole house. Overall, they did a good job, not great. The house was not squeaky clean (there were still some cabinets that have some dusts), but I'm ok; very minor things. I liked that the house didn't smell like bleach or other harsh chemicals. They seem to use cleaning agents appropriate to the materials that they are dealing with (marble, stainless steel, laminate, etc). If they are not sure, they communicate and ask question. They were careful with moving our boxes around to vacuum the floor. I wouldn't mind using them again.

Delia and her crew made my house shine and smell great, I've ised this company for window cleaning and carpet cleaning before but this was the first time for house cleaning, my husband was very happy as well. Very happy with results and would recommend them a hundred times.

The owner (Delia) arrived with two other staff a little later than I had originally planned (traffic issues), but it was no problem since I was at home on a Saturday. Also, she communicated well by text or phone call each step of the way and was very responsive to my questions. When I asked about price, she gave the most accurate answer a home cleaner can give: It depends upon how much stuff you have in your home. Let's face it, that has to matter! I like a minimalist approach for the most part so my home, despite size, is fairly easy to clean. Not a lot of knick knacks. So, she gave me two prices upon arrival and walk-through: One for this clean and one based upon a monthly clean (my preference). I was satisfied with both. I was here while they worked and they did a spectacular job. If you've experienced the fine dust that comes with drywall work, you know what a mess it can make! I felt like a queen last weekend after the work was done (took about 2.5-3 hours; I forgot to check actual time) and still do this week. It's so much easier to maintain a clean home. I highly recommend Yari's Maids and will be using them again.

Great! They really did a great job in my really heavy duty areas. Although they went over time, it was well worth the extra money I paid when the job was complete. Now, I can do a regular cleaning with them at a reasonable rate and my house will always look sparkling!

Delia and her crew of four girls did an amazing job. I had forgotten what my floor looked like, until they cleaned it. I am so grateful and pleased with their work. I would definately hire them again.

They were okay. I am not accusing them of anything, but I would watch them more closely. Three people came and so they did it quickly. They did it in a total of 2 and half hours.

Went great! Punctual for our initial meeting to give me an estimate. Punctual for cleaning. Inquired of the tenant any personal items with sentimental value that would not be touched; and explained what all they would do in the cleaning. Very professional.

False advertising I called Yari?s maids to ask about their $125 for 4 hours of house cleaning. The lady asked the square footage of the home and she immediately tried to up-sale me time claiming that 4 hours was not enough. I explained that in the past most maid services have finished our house in 2 to 2.5 hours. She persevered and was insistent that I should purchase more than the 4 hours. She was hesitant to take on the job with out the up-sale, and I directly tried to clarify why she would think four hours would not be enough to clean our house. I asked her if she was willing to do this or not. She agreed to it and I did get an email confirmation through Angie?s List of a date and time that we agreed on. When the two maids showed up, they cleaned and toward the end said that they did the best they could in two hours. When I explained that the coupon and purchase was for four, they directed me back to management. This is when the lady still had a hard time explaining about what was entailed in their coupon. But, I did finally got a clear answer. Their company did not disclose that their gimmick or advertisement really meant: 2 hours per maid. ?When you send two maids that equals 4 hours.? Also when booking this, the person who initially explained it never said she was sending two maids. On both accounts it was false advertising. The problem was I didn?t find this out until the two hours was almost over and the maid informed me of what I did not agree on. The service itself was below average. They did not vacuum the kitchen nor did they mop the floors. So two people cleaning a house was for 3 bathtubs and bathrooms, with a wipe down of my counter tops and vacuuming of the living area? Based on my square footage, other maid services have finished this in two hours. Especially since, there are only 2 people that live in this house, and only 1 bathroom is used in this house, and we just had service with a made 3 weeks ago, and we vacuum every other day? Very disappointed and we would be happy to answer any further question in regards to this business.

They were able to schedule me within a weeks notice before the holidays which was great! They were prompt, 3 girls came and their supervisor followed. She inspected the house and gave them directions from me. I asked for quotes to continue the cleaning on a bi-weekly or monthly basis. They cleaned for about 2.5 hours and did a great job! The house smelled so clean and I will definitely have them back! I gave the girls $5 each as a tip after.

Purchased the Big Deal through Angie's List 12/7/15. On the 11th I called and left asked for someone to please contact me for day and time for cleaning. Delia returned my call that night. I told her we have a 2 bed room 2 bath 1972 sq ft home. Asked her how many people would be coming to clean she replied 2 or 3 and she Delia, stays with her crew the first time they clean to make sure everything is done. They will be here for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. I said I purchased the Big Deal for $209 up to 8 hours of Deep Housecleaning INCLUDING OVEN and REFRIGERATOR, up to 3000 square feet. Delia said they would get it done in 3-3 1/2 hours. I asked if items listed under GENERAL Cleaning were included, never got an answer. Her and the crew will be here between 9:00-10:00 on the 18th. On the 18th I waited until 10:30, no call from Yari's Maids, took my dog down the street to the groomer. Back home at 11:00, Delia and ladies showed up a few minutes later. She asked if I had forgotten they were cleaning that day, I said no waited until 10:30, our appointment was for 9:00-10:00. They came in started cleaning. Asked Delia for a written quote to clean every other week. At 2:20 the groomer called the dog was ready. Told Delia I would be right back she said they were all finished. Reminded her the Oven and Refrigerator ARE INCLUDED, she said I should have told her when she first got there and per her agreement with Angie's List's those items are extra. She gave me my quote Every 2 Weeks $120.00 includes all worked they did that day!! Then why did I pay $209 ???? She just turned and left. I called her within 5 minutes about the BIG DEAL, $209.00, NO OVEN CLEANING, NO REFRIGERATOR CLEANING. She again said her AGREEMENT with Angie's List says they are additional items to be charged EXTRA. Told her I am calling Angie's List, she said that's Fine with her. I called Angie's, they have been very helpful.
