We were very pleased with the work and they were also very eco-friendly. Overall, an excellent service experience.

I was not very happy with them. My overall impression with them was that they were in over their head. They were just not able to properly manage a project of this scope, which was the entire house renovation that included doing the floors, structural work, swimming pool, and things like that. Things were supposed to get finished by last August but it did not get completed until December of last year. There were lots of little problems here and there throughout the entire thing. Overall they left a very bad taste in my mouth. I discovered a lot of things like they overcharged for materials beyond the general 20% mark up; the floor tiles were charged at $22 a square foot when it actually cost them $2.50 a square foot and some of the materials were of sub-standard quality for the price that I was paying. Even to this day, there are items that were left unfinished or were finished poorly. I did a little research on them and their history is that they do kitchen remodeling. I just think doing a whole house was out of their ability of managing a project. Also Green Planet, as their name implies, does green technologies, green energies, and so forth so they installed hot water heating and electric, and also solar hot water for the swimming pool. Total cost of all those technologies alone was around $30,000. My gas bill is higher than it ever was so the solar hot water does not seem to be doing its job and my electric bill has not really gone down all that much either. The only thing that I have noticed is that the solar hot water for the swimming pool seems to be working. There is more but I do not want to bore everyone with those details.

Harvey, Green Planet was amazing! We are so happy with the results we got with our Kitchen remodel. My husband if very grateful because I have been cooking dinner every night because I love being in my beautiful kitchen. Green Planet's team was so wonderful they came to work on time every day, they were so professional and pleasant to be around.

In my work as a construction consultant I had a project that used Green Planet Building on a commercial remodel of restaurant. I loved the people and the work so much I used them for the remodel on our house in Woodland Hills. They really are fantastic. I've worked with hundreds of construction pros and Mitra and Harvey (owners) are among the finest. And it's very unique how they have structured the company so that we had our own project site on the web. Every detail is right up there every day - messages, photos, schedules, who is doing what, problems, suggestions. Totally transparent and just on it with everything. It's more like a personal boutique company than a big general construction company. I just can't recommend them highly enough.
