Description of Work: The technician was excellent -- courteous, prompt, knowledgeable and did not make us do more prep than necessary for a small problem. When the problem returned soon after he came right back and worked again, and the problem abated for several months. However, it more recently has come back, suggesting that the fix did not quite work. I plan to call this company and ask them to send the same technician again.

Description of Work: Took two visits to treat for roaches (which were initially identified as water bugs, an identification I did not agree with). He did come right back and sprayed again, and tenants have not complained, so I hope the problem is now resolved. Technician's accent was hard to understand.

Description of Work: I used them to exterminate bugs at my tenant's kitchen. During the treatment, I was told that afterward there would be a residue that I or my tenant would have to clean up. I was assured it would be minimal clean up and non-toxic "if I used a damp paper towel". There was a language barrier with both the technician and the person I spoke with over the phone to clarify, and it was difficult to understand the treatment, the toxicity, and the clean up procedures. When I returned to the unit after the prescribed time, there was a thick coating of white powder in all the cabinets and drawers, baseboards and counters. It was very difficult to clean up, and over the 2 hours that I was cleaning, I grew increasingly uncomfortable with doing so without any protective gear. (It was applied by a technician wearing full mask, eye protection and protective suit head to toe). I called the company back, and although it was early evening, they sent the technician back right away and he cleaned up everything. It took him another couple of hours to do so. | |I appreciate the effort that they made to address my concerns and clean up the residue. However, I never would have used the treatment had I realized the length of time my tenant would be out of their apartment, or the extent of clean up required afterward. I don't think that it is appropriate for a client to be expected to do that extensive of a clean up after a treatment.

Description of Work: Sprayed exterior of front unit of three unit townhouse. Arrived early, explained procedure then completed the task briskly.

Description of Work: The quoted cost of $292 includes a home complete home inspection and related treatment for pests found. The home review revealed moths in the kitchen pantry (which is why they were originally called by me) and two small termite infestations, which they found. One on a board in the attic and the other on a 2x4 which also went under a six foot section of concrete in the garage. I was billed an additional $600 to treat the termite problem. An appointment was made to remedy the findings and the house was sprayed (fogged) with concentrated peppermint oil, which isn't very pleasant to smell, especially since it drags on for three or four more days afterwards. The two termite areas located were also treated at the same time as the fogging for the moths. It took the serviceman approximately three hours total for both projects. Upon my own termite inspection a few days later, I personally found two more termite areas on the wood balcony decks that were missed during inspection. The same serviceman came back and treated those a week or so later for an additional cost. Besides my finding the two additional termite areas which were readily visible, moths remained in the pantry after their treatment and subsequently spread to all other rooms of the house, even though the entire house was fogged during their initial treatment. The moth problem is finally under control now as eggs from the moth infestation were located in several areas of the pantry, the initial targeted area. I told the person that answers the phone about the problem never going away after the fogging process and he asked if we wanted the guy to treat it again. Because of the smell, we said no because we weren't ready for another three day dose of that odor. Secondly, if the fogging process that was originally done had worked, we wouldn't have had to even consider doing it all over again since there weren't any guarantees a second treatment would do any better. In summary, the serviceman was a good guy as was the person fielding the phone calls (I assume the owner), but the work was definitely sub-par for what I paid. Would I call them again in the future, not likely.

Description of Work: My father hired them, so I do not know the details of costs, etc. I do know that they came out to the one bedbug affected apt unit and fumigated 3 or 4 times and ended up making things worse. It went from 1 affected unit to 3. I ended up hiring Gorilla Pest Control for damage control. I don't have an evaluation for Gorilla as of yet since they are currently in the fumigation process.

Description of Work: The tech showed up on time, surveyed the area and suggested improvements that would help minimize future problems. He then sprayed and said he would return if anything showed up after a couple of weeks - comforting.

Description of Work: Sprayed twice for fleas- had to come back a second time, which they told me up front might be necessary, which I appreciated. Overall very good, as I did not want to tent or use chemicals.
