We had someone else "refinish" the floors about 10 years ago but all they did was sand and urethane the floors with no stain or other damage repair and that company cost over $3000. We are extremely pleased and several neighbors who saw our floors were either dismayed that they had paid others more for less or asked for cards for work they want done in the future. (Bill is very good and very conscientious but he handles all phone calls and estimates himself, as far as I can tell, so he may take a short time to get back to a caller.)
Description of Work: Bill and his assistant first helped me remove the last few items of furniture, although I did most of the moving myself, and it is not normally part of the service, but I am an over 65 lady, so they helped. They dropped the old floor furnace and removed it, patching the space so that the replacement was unnoticable, they also repaced several areas that had been damaged by 60 plus years of puppies and children. Then they sanded and refinished the floors in three bedrooms the kitchen, hall and bedroom.
