24 HOUR RESTORATION

We went through an extensive remodel within the last 2 years and, unfortunately, we had a major flood recently. 24 HRC has been incredible from the moment of our first panicked call and each step along the way. The attention to detail through the remediation phase and into the reconstruction was remarkable, particularly in contrast to the majority of contractors we have worked with. Their consultative approach, professionalism and sensitivity during a tough time was so appreciated.

When putting back my condo to pre-construction status, it now looks like sh&t. The owner Bobby Ameen even walked the condo and thought it was a good job. The HOA is now hiring another to come in and fix it. For starters, the top casing on the front door was removed for work, then replaced backwards. Instead of removing and fixing, they just sanded it down. Looks so bad. I had paid a professional to remove my popcorn ceiling and do crown molding, it was beautiful, but now there is over mudding, unfilled nail holes, extreme shrink on caulking, unfixed wall from previous crown molding removal tearing the wall, and the new ceiling has uneven and chunks of mud, and because the didn't tape the ceiling or first attempt the wall, paint was over done and the flat paint doesn't cover the shiny crown paint. Wall texture, not consistent. When challenged with this, they stated I requested the texturing and all I did was ask it to be correct. So I have on one wall two types, and on others dowel marks, scrapes, sander blade marks, etc. They tried to fix things and just didn't send anyone with skills to do it. Beware, that if you don't sign the contract, the CA State Lic Board says you have no case, only the HOA in my case, as they hired 24HRC. The bonding company told me they have multiple claims against them, so don't use this company. Also, These men raised their voices at me when I challenged the quality of work as it was happening, by the general contractor Will, and the finishing supervisor Kyle. In the process of the work, they didn't protect my living quarters and the dust caused breathing issues for me. It took them 2 days to bring in a fan. AND damage to my personal things was just under $1500 in damaged personal items and they haven't reimbursed me, the attorney for the HOA is trying to get it.

I began to see mold appear on my interior wall below south facing windows. This area is subject to wind and rain as it comes in from the ocean. I found them on Angies' List. They responded promptly to my call. Came out and gave me an estimate, which I accepted and they started work. As I recall, they tented the area, removed the dry wall, and left blowers running over a weekend to dry everything out and then finished the job early the next week. They were very prompt and professional and did a fine job of restoring the area with no evidence that any work had taken place. First class job at a fair price.

They performed very well. A bloom of mold appeared on a section of dry wall- presumably a remnent from the heavy wind and rain of the winter. They came out and provided a detailed estimate, which I accepted. They arrived the next day on time and had the area tented and the old drywall removed in a day. Ran an air filter in the contained area while they were working and for 3 days thereafter to prevent the spread of the mold spores. Had a very professional group restoring the drywall - great job, efficient and spotless cleanup afterward. Husband and wife painting team were very precise and careful and did a flawless job - again, spotless cleanup. Company supervisor kept track of things and came by once or twice a day to see things were on track and to bring any necessary supplies. Great experience with them. Recommend highly. The estimated price was the final price.

Emergencies don't happen during normal hours. We had a water heater go on us and create water damage. We needed to quickly have the water removed and the areas dried and preventive measures taken to prevent mold. 24 Restoration was on the job quickly and efficiently. I would absolutely recommend them.
