For anyone who needs a recommendation. King of Painters!!! We live in a log home outside of Julian that has never been finished the way it should until now. The quality work, people, and professionalism are as outstanding as their final product.

Team Henry , Marco & Gustav, Your team does beautiful work. Thank you for taking pride and restoring my father‘s special home. This team worked efficiently and, were also methodical and thorough. They showed up on time and were polite and respectful. They kept the area neat and safe and accessible at the end of each day. They checked in with me regularly to give progress updates. This is my second experience with King Of Painters and I would highly recommend them without hesitation. Their prices are also competitive so the value for their work is high. Also, I would like to send a thank you out to Joey for his knowledge and understanding of this special project and for sending me a great team. The work was outstanding. This company does whatever it takes to satisfy the customer. They were worth every penny spent. They got us on their schedule quickly and finished the job very fast. This is the company you want for your painting needs they are professional and stand by their work. I do not normally leave reviews but these guys deserve it. I would/will use this company again.

While house-sitting at a friends house that was just re-painted, I couldn’t help but look at the painting work that had just been done. The level of detail was incredible. The edges were sharp, crisp and straight. I was very impressed. She ended up giving me the number of Bob (The King of the Painters) Lyon. Bob came out and looked over my house. There was a lot of termite damage, the side garage door needed to be replaced and dry rot was prevalent throughout. Fascia, eaves and large beams were in bad shape. All had peeling paint. Bob has an amazing eye for colors. We settled on the color scheme and Bob even picked out the fabric we chose for the awning we had installed out front. After settling on a price (which was VERY reasonable) we set up the date for work to begin. On the day the crew arrived, the project manager (Mike) introduced me to his crew. Dennis Iloff, Jr. Lopez, Alvin Hernandez and last (but certainly not least) Ricardo “Rickey” Duenas. While Mike was tending to other jobs, Ricardo was my point man. He asked all the right questions, always informed me of what the tasks of the day were going to be and answered all my questions with a smile. This crew was thorough and they all seemed to be having fun while working very hard. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Bob Lyon is probably the nicest guy you’ll ever meet and his employees show it too. Give them a try. You will NOT be disappointed.

We contracted King of the Painters to paint the exterior of our home in Clairemont after reading customer reviews about their services. We met with the companies owners who were very helpful in helping us select a new house paint color scheme. The workers were on time and cleaned up the work site each afternoon. We had a few issues with the job and called them to report the issues and they were very quick to come out to correct the discrepancies. We would recommend using them to anyone.

I can't say enough about them. They are an outstanding outfit. They do a ten year warranty on their work. I have an area of peeling of the wood, and they are going to take care of it. Some sun damaged. Its old wood.

There was no charge for the estimate. The experience was very good. They set up appointments and came when they were supposed to. They spent at least an hour doing their estimate. They were on time and if was going to be late then they called. If I was to do another paint job, I would call them for an estimate. I had a wide range with prices and I choose another company due to pricing. I did choose the company with the lesser price. The estimates that I received all seemed to be providing about the same service, so I decided to go with the cheaper one. The one that I choose to go with was about $3000 less than the others.

We had two or three estimates from different companies. At the time other issues came up and we decided to postpone painting the house. The estimate was free. The quality of the estimate and the detail into which they looked at the house as we walked around it and looked at it to really make sure they understood what would be necessary in preparation and repair, I think was quite detailed and I thought it was excellent. They were on time and kept their word of that appointment. They didn't walk up, look at it and give me an estimate. They actually walked around and told me verbally before they wrote up the estimate all of the issues that they thought needed to be addressed and the ones they thought did not, and how they could be addressed and what our different options were. Then they prepared an estimate for us. I don't remember it clearly but I think it was 2 or 3 variations on a theme depending to what detail we wanted them to do certain kinds of repair work during preparation. I thought it was completely professional and believable estimate. It was a very good experience. I remember that we did not rule out any of the estimates based on price. All the prices we were given seemed appropriate and in line with the detailed level of work that was to be performed. They would certainly be on our list if we decided to go back after it and actually get the house painting this year. we would certainly consider them. I don't know that I would ask them to come and give us an estimate or not, but they are absolutely on the acceptable list.

I would recommend them to friends. They are good with clean up and work fast. They were done in just a few days. I would use them again if needed.

We were impressed right from the beginning when we met the owner, Joey to discuss our needs and get a quote. Fantastic response to questions/concerns all during the project. Very punctual and courteous crew with attention to detail and clean-up each day. If you're looking for a painting company who is thorough and detail-oriented, plus listens and responds to your requests, then King of the Painters is who we would highly recommend. Well worth the cost for a professional job and superior service. Our home looks better than it did new!

We were very pleased with the expertise and service from King of Painters. Joey has an excellent eye for detail and his recommendations on colors and finishing detail was exceptional. They pay attention to detail and the entire project went so smoothly. We are very pleased with the new look and quality of work that went in to our home. This is not just a painting company, it's more of a painting consultant specialist. Joey came out and consulted us on what to do and what not to do. He was so informative and made paint selection go so smoothly. Its always scary choosing colors but he and his crew made it so easy and comfortable for my wife and I. Would highly recommend using this company. You truly get what you pay for and when it comes to the finishing touches on your home you don't want to cut costs in this department. They arrived early every morning. Prepared to work. Everything was left like they found it. We added a couple extras, they were handled quickly and kept the job moving. Todd and his crew were very polite and worked very hard, even though the weather was very hot. We would definitely recommend King of the Painters!

King of the Painters picked the right colors for me and they turned out great. The jobs were done on time and the clean up was exceptional. They haul away all the trash. Great Job!

Our experience with Joey at king of the painters was amazing. He showed up and as we went through the home we asked for his opinion and he wasnt afraid to give us his professional advice that which we too really liked. They always do a good job. We have used them 4 or 5 times, never had any reason to complain.

Bob Lyon is a magician when it comes to color! He made a suggestion of colors that he thought would be good and explained why and what it would look like. We went with those colors and he was wrong! It wasn't good, it was OUTSTANDING!! And the work that his crew did was exceptional! They went over their work carefully making sure that every detail was covered! We have a huge vine on the wrought iron but they painted around it! It's been over a month now, but when I go outside, our house still takes my breath away! Thank you, Bob & Crew!

We are happy with all the work performed by King of the Painters. Everyone was professional and courteously interacted with us. Joey, James, Aarron, Jose, Isaac, Francisco, Tim , Kevin and his painting crew, Danielle and the other office staff members could not have been better. High quality work was performed by everyone. Eventhough they are a little higher, our money was well spent. Our home looks like new and we love the new open area.

King of the Painters showed up early and completed the job in 2 days. They did an outstanding job and I am very happy with it. The whole house was power washed and prepped, small cracks filled. They primed some of the stucco repairs that I did previous to the paint job and feathered the edges. When they paint, they spray and roll as they work their way around the house resulting in great coverage with no peek-a-boos. Adrian and his crew were great and a joy to have working at my house. Joey was very professional. Arrived on time and was very helpful but price was outrageous. A year ago I had bids and they all were under $2,000 and KOP bid was almost $4,500 with a 5% coupon discount. I've seen jobs they have done and they are very good but way too expensive.

The King of Painters did an excellent job. The work was very neat and clean. They were very responsive to the little details. The site foreman was very astute and conscientious. All my contacts with the KOP were very satisfying.

They were the highly respectful of all the small moveable items. Masked off everything. Showed up on time. Cleaned up every day, and made sure nothing was out of place. Polite, careful, meticulous work. I would only use this company to do all my painting interior and exterior. They also do landscape and remodeling work, which I should have used instead of the two awful companies that did my outside work.

They were very professional. They were very creative and they gave me some different options on picking color for the building, the trim versus the stucco, and very modern. They modernized my building, very good ideas. He has a big enough crew that the work was done quickly. They showed up at very convenient times and on time, so my tenants won't be disturbed. They showed up like around 8:00 in the morning, and not too early and they left about 4:30 so they wouldn't be there making noise during the dinner hour. They were very considerate. I had a tenant in the front unit that just had a baby, and they saved all the work for the front unit. They did all that first so that by the time they came home from the hospital, they were done in the front not making noise. They just went the extra mile in terms of convenience for my tenants. They also did a very good job on the paint job. They were very clean. They clean up all their mess. There was no sloppy painting anywhere. There were no missed spots. They did a very high quality job. They did all the doors. They replaced all woods from the front of the building with new modern materials. They also painted my fence with coordinating colors.

We have used the King of Painters a couple of time previously. They show up as scheduled, they do a professional job and always clean up after the project. All of the crews we have had in our home are professional, friendly and take pride in their work. They are also very patient if you want to adjust the project a little. I already have plans for them to come back for another project.

Four house painters were selected from Angie's List to bid. All were asked the same questions regarding the painting of a large and complex house. KOP did the most expert job. Their suggestions on how to handle problem areas and colors were the best. Their bid was competitive. The crew could not have been better. I have not seen such hard work and dedication to a job well done. People stop and stare, wow what a job. Thank You KOP. John
