I think $85 is a little steep for what was done (very minor repair) but probably fair in view of the fact that he had to provide drive time, repair tools and knowledge.

The repairman arrived on schedule and was equipped with parts needed for our shutter repair. He even left us with a kit so we could fix ourselves should it happen again!

Came the day after my telephone call. Impressed.

There were two parts to my window problem - one was a complete replacement for the tilting rod, the other was to repair broken connectors in several windows. Henry did a great job for the first part. But for the second part, he used his patented "quick" fixes which simply tapes louver to the tilt rod. These devices do not last. A couple days later, the tapes just came off and no longer stick, or the tapes just broke off if someone is not too careful in closing/opening the windows. I'm happy with the work Henry did for the first part but am not too thrilled about his quick fixes. Other than that, Henry seems like a great guy.
