Spa Removers

It went awesome. These guys are the best and the price is very reasonable. They gave me a very detailed estimate. Then worked with me a on date to come and remove the spa. We had the spa in our garage. They provided a time and date they would be at the house to remove the spa. They called 30 minutes before they arrived. They removed the swim spa in about an hour. It was a 14 foot swim spa in our garage and they just cut it in half and took it out and put it on their truck to haul away . They also took care of all the electrical issues with the spa. They are very professional and courteous. I highly recommend them as the cost is very reasonable and they will work with you to get the job done. They cleaned up and power hosed out the garage. I am very happy with the service and the company.

It was old and it was here before we moved in. It was like in 1982. They just came and got it done. There was no hassle. They're very professional, friendly and responsive. If I'd have a spa removed, I would use them.

I initially contacted Spa Removers via their website after finding them on Angie's list. I filled out their on-line questionnaire and also e-mailed photographs to them of my (leaky) spa, so they could get a good sense of what would be required to remove it. They provided an acceptable estimate the next day. They did a very good job. Two crew members cut up and removed the fiberglass tub and all the underground plumbing, while Spa Remover's owner disconnected the heater, pumps, filter, etc., capped off the piping, disconnected electrical, etc. I was somewhat concerned about that process because our spa equipment was intermingled in a small area with our pool equipment, which I did NOT want removed. The owner was both knowledgeable and careful; once everything was removed he had me turn on and run all the pool equipment to demonstrate that everything was working properly, no leaks, etc.. Spa Removers hauled away everything -- the spa itself, heater, pumps, filter, plumbing, etc. -- and left the area completely clean. My only complaint -- and it is a minor one -- is that they missed the appointment-time window by about three hours. I had to call to get a sense of when they'd likely arrive; however, from that point on I was updated about every half hour until they finally arrived.

Appt was made two weeks ahead of time and followed up with an email on the day of the removal. Received a call when the crew was enroute. They arrived as scheduled and went to work immediately. Job was completed in a little over an hour. Due to the possibility of fiberglass floating in the air, they advised about closing windows facing the job and wore protective gear themselves. The work was efficient and quick. They cleaned up the area after they finished. I'm very satisfied.

Lando and his team were very professional and punctual, and explained clearly what they were going to do. They sawed my old spa in half and carried the two pieces out separately through a small side gate, lickety-split. I was quoted at $375 because I described my spa as above ground, in deck. I figured the deck was as high as the spa, but it was actually in-ground. Oops. Lando understood why I was confused and only charged me the originally quoted price, but it really should've cost me an extra $100. It was worth paying for a pro to do it right, if only for the peace of mind of knowing the gas and electric are properly disconnected. Highly recommended!

Our experience with them was good. They did what we needed done and maybe even a little bit more in that they cleaned up afterwards. I don't remember that there were any problems. The company seemed to be very dependable and competent. And they were pleasant to work with.

Lando and Juan came by and did precisely what they said they would do -- remove the spa, cap off the electrical connection, and pressure wash the concrete pad. They were both very professional and friendly, seemed to work very efficiently and cleaned up after themselves, not a trace left behind. As I won't be getting another spa, I don't plan to need their services again, but I can certainly recommend them!

They were great! It took awhile for them to be able to get a schedule because I guess they are highly in demand. On the other hand, they did a great job. My husband was the one who made the actual reservation of appointment with them.

They called and said that they will be about an hour late, because the current job they were doing was being slowed down by rain. Showed up about after an hour and immediately started to work, and it was drizziling by the way that day. Took a couple of hours to take the whole thing appart and haul it away. Lando let me know that there was a big snake when they where chopping the jacuzzi. In fact it was the picture on the sparemovers web site of the big snake in San Diego. Just the year is incorrect it was in 2013 instead of 2012. Lando told me not to tell the wife, till this date wife has no idea.

We moved in to the house in August and immediately noticed the smelly hot tub on the patio. It was wired in so I didn't want to remove it myself and it looked very cumbersome. Spa Removers arranged everything and did the estimate from a photo I sent by email. They arrived on time, took it away, power washed the patio to reveal a lovely set of flag stones and tidied up the wiring. They pointed out that the hot tub had been a home for rodents - great! I'm very glad they dealt with that mess.

They did a great job and paid attention to the little details that add up to make a difference. I did not expect them to clean the area so well and I was pleasantly surprised. This company is what you wish every experience could be like, efficient, cost conscious, and detail oriented.

Spa removers were timely, profesional and service oriented. The spa was removed within 1.5 hours with no collateral damage to my decking. the price ended up being $50 below the quote. I would recomend Spa Removers to anyone with a similar need.

They are located in Southern California and I am in the Central Valley. To make the appointment was impressive. They did everything they promised to do. Very Impressed.

Spa Removers were quick and efficient and inexpensive. They checked on the electrical supply and made sure that was capped off. They had a book about all the critters they can find in the spa sometimes. They are really careful about the little animals they can find. He was late for the appointment because he had to come down from Turlock and met more traffic than he expected, so it didn't bother me. Everything was very smooth. They cut it in half and carried it out. It wasn't usable.

Lando and his crew removed an old spa back in December, and we liked their work so much that we had them back to remove a 30 year old deck. They did an excellent job and consulted with us when they found cables and other items beneath the deck. They were fast, efficient, and cleaned up afterwards. Lando even reduced our original estimate because the job wasn't as difficult as he had first thought it would be. We will definitely recommend Spa Removers to our friends and neighbors who are looking for this type of service.

The quoted price was $275. The person I talked with about my estimate said all this company does is remove spas and hot tubs. He was very pleasant and helpful over the phone. They were first going to charge me $300 for the job but I already had paid someone to disconnect the electricity so they ended up only charging me $275. Their price was less than another company I had quote this project.

This is a great company. Spa Removers receptionist was very helpful, we got a quick quote and scheduled the appt. Lando and one other person came and quickly and efficiently cut up and hauled away the spa and took out the built in benches around the spa. Then they powerwashed the deck and cleaned everything up. Lando even went through with concrete patch and fixed places that had been covered by the spa and benches that had cracked or been damaged over the years. It was a great relief to have this work done so quickly and at a very reasonable price. I was very impressed by this company and would recommend them to anyone.

Great work from start to finish! I loved how they kept me in the loop when disconnecting equipment, etc. Lando was even able to help me open a valve that I was having a difficult time opening and it didn't have anything to do with the job. I have had a lot of work done around the house and they were the best at cleaning up after the job than any other company. I wish they did other construction jobs because I would hire them every time! Thanks Lando and crew!

Lando and his crew did a fantastic job cutting an old spa that no longer worked out of our deck. They were fast, efficient, polite, professional, and cleaned up everything. They hauled away the old pump, heater, and other spa equipment along with the spa. Even thought they cut up the spa to get it out, they didn't damage the remaining deck. We also have gas and electric tap outs for future use. They did arrive later than their appointment time but I still gave them an A grade, because we had been informed that this could happen due to unpredictable Southern California traffic. And Lando called us twice to let us know his ETA, something we highly appreciate. He and his crew had a previous job in San Diego the same day and drove all the way back to the LA area to complete our job. They even finished before dark and charged us the original quoted price, no add-ons. We learned that Spa Removers also does deck removal so we got a quote for that before they left.
