During an initial walk-through of another branch of the company, I returned the next day to make a purchase only to find that the store closed before its posted closing time. I then drove to the Irvine store to make the purchase. THE GOOD NEWS: The staff was helpful, friendly and communicative throughout the "ordeal" with them. The selection at the stores was also satisfactory, along with the quality of the merchandise. THE BAD NEWS: My three fixtures had to be ordered and were not in stock in the store. I used a 20% off coupon and was told that all sales were final since I was using the coupon (and the receipt reiterated that point). They charged my card $615 at the time of ordering. I was disheartened to learn later that two of my ordered fixtures are on sale for much, MUCH less at some home improvement stores. That's plainly my fault for not shopping around more. Anyway, it took three weeks for the fixtures to arrive, which I felt was unreasonable. When I went to pick up the fixtures, two of the three boxes contained the wrong item. The staff person was apologetic and I was assured the correct items would arrive within a week. A week passed and I received a call saying that two remaining fixtures would in fact never arrive since there was a recall on them by the manufacturer. The staff person volunteered to order similar, slightly more expensive fixtures for me but not charge me for the price difference. I declined--even though they forced the issue a bit--and I calmly yet firmly asked for a refund for the two remaining fixtures (charged to my card a month beforehand, mind you), which they reluctantly agreed to do.
Description of Work: I originally ordered three lighting fixtures for $615. Only one was received (and retained) for $220.
