Description of Work: Gary from Moses Plumbing was running late on Saturday, but called to let me know to expect him within the hour. When he arrived I was very impressed at how he wanted to evaluate all my house plumbing not just the three toilets that were constantly running. After inspection, he told me what needed to be done that day and also that I should consider buying a new hot water heater because mine could cause me major problems in the near future. Gary fixed all my toilets by replacing the inside mechanisms, he also changed out my plumbing under my bathroom sink. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I was very satisfied with all the work he did.

Description of Work: I was a little surprised that after calling Moses Plumbing for the first time, a plumber with a business card under another name showed up. He, however, did a great job. He took care of the problem and even gave me a discount after I mentioned I found them through Angie's list. Couldn't be happier with the fast and great service.

Description of Work: Moses didn't come. Murphy's plumbing came. Ok. Moses was out of town on family business and Murphy's was standing in. Everything went great no issues at all with them. The only reason I didn't give A's all around is because it wasn't Moses.

Description of Work: This was primarily a water heater flush. I really like the fellow but, for the purpose of full disclosure, he did forget to reset the pilot after the work was completed. That said, he was very pleasant and he did seem knowledgeable.

Description of Work: Gary and his apprentice came out on the morning of my twin daughters birthday party to try and clear the bathroom sink. Gary was punctual, courteous, and very articulate about the problem as he saw it. He was also very clear and professional with his apprentice explaining his thinking and methods and eliciting feedback from the young man. Unfortunately, after many different approaches and much effort the drain remained blocked. Gary determined that the problem must lie at a joint with in the wall. We could not do that that day and due the occasion, that fact it was our only bathroom and his absolute generosity of heart he did not charge us. We definitely will work with him again and recommend him highly to everyone.

Description of Work: The inspector did a very thorough job and listed his findings on a detailed report. He answered all my questions and gave me an estimate of the cost to have problems fixed. Only one thing bothered me: When I pointed out an odor under my bathroom sink, he said he needed to look under the house even though it looked like that bathroom was on slab. He said it would cost $95 for under-the-house inspection. When I agreed to that, he went under the house and found nothing. I felt like that inspection, which only took a few minutes, should have been included in my $89 Angie's deal. I decided not to have Moses Plumbing do the corrective work because I feared hidden costs, instead I had another plumber do the work. I believe that Moses did a thorough inspection and they probably would have done good repair work at a fair price, but I was bit wary because of the extra inspection fee.

Description of Work: Checked plumbing throughout inside and outside of house and compiled a list of recommendations and an estimate of cost. Also performed service that I requested on a toilet and replaced hoses and spigot on washing machine.
