Description of Work: He evaluated the plumbing in the house for a fee of $99.00. Then recommended plumbing work that amounted to $2000.00. I'm not sure if all the work was necessary but the quality of work was very good. They gave me a quote for another project in another house that was very high. I got it done for less than half the price. We paid $1000 and Moses wanted more than $2000 for equivalent work.

Description of Work: Adjusted our three toilets so they wouldn't run and would be more efficient. |He also cleaned one of my sink drains to eliminate oder. He also attached ground wires to the water heater to prevent electrical shock. |However, two of the toilets continue to run occasionally. |I felt like I spent a lot of money and did not get the results.

Description of Work: I found Moses Plumbing on Angie's list and looked at the reviews. I have done this on everything I have needed and not been disappointed. Moses Plumbing came to my house as scheduled and fixed the leak around my toilet. He stayed extra time to make sure it was fixed. He checked our water pressure and it was good.

Description of Work: He arrived promptly and informed me of what he would be checking and gave me a form with his checklist. After his inspection he told me I needed a new water heater, a new dryer vent and something for me toilet and gave me an estimate. He said he would be back within the week to fix the dryer vent and toilet and did call the next week. When I said I was not going to purchase a new water heater from him he then told me he would call in a few days to schedule a day for him to do the other work which he had said was imperative to have fixed. He never called back after I declined to buy a new water heater.

Description of Work: They came out and charged 150%-200% the standard rate. I called around and they were way over priced. I told them to NOT talk to my tenants about the work that needs to be down and pricing but instead to send me the report. I just paid for an whole inspection, leak fix and a report. I already had a plumber out so I wanted to send him the report so he can correct what I already paid for. | |Anyway, so Moses did not listen to my instructions and told the tenants all this work (some unnecessary) that needed to be done and ended up taking money directly from them to do the work WITHOUT my authorization. The whole deal was awful. I have had bad luck with Angie's list. Never again.

Description of Work: The principal contact (have misplaced name) was very well informed on plumbing issues. Beyond the services offered in the water heater program, I purchased added services, but was disappointed with final outcome. While many hours were devoted, the two-man team turned into a one person team on the second day. Only one person showed up for the second day and though they were both professional, there were still issues when they left. When I asked for a follow-up, I had no response.

Description of Work: Installed new kitchen faucet that we provided & replaced two shut off valves. They responded to my phone call immediately & were able to come to do the work within a couple of hours. They were polite, professional and did quality work.

Description of Work: Needed to replace the rubber ring on the tank plunger. He had great response time and was very punctual. Cost me a lot more than I expected though.

Description of Work: Have a house from the 70's that needed A LOT of TLC. They were efficient, clear about what needed to be done, and the costs.

Description of Work: One of the so-called Deals. Were supposed to do 4 things. Didn't flush water heater (said knob was too coroded), didn't clear sink drain (said clog was in pipe in wall), didn't adjust kitchen faucet (explained how I could do it), and checked tub drain (seemed to help temporarily but not permanently). Also gave info on replacing water heater and garage faucet but couldn't be specific on price. He was very nice, but didn't do much of the work that was promised in deal. I am suspicious of all deals I see on Angie's List, not so much because of the provider, but because of the way Angie's List sets up these type of arrangements.

They removed my very old water heater and replaced it with a new one that was secured with earthquake strapping. They also replaced 2 valves, 2 flexes and sprayed with gold effect to match existing and touched up pipe with spray in guest bathroom. Replaced 2 kitchen sink valves showing signs of corrosion. Replaced plastic venting on dryer to new aluminum venting. |

Description of Work: They replaced a 100 gallon water heater with a high efficacy 75 gallon water heater. Upon completion of the job they checked the house plumbing and recommended several minor thing be addressed and corrected, all in all it was a good experience.

Description of Work: Gary, the representative I worked with was SO GOOD I couldn't but wish that I had used him the previous two times I tried to fix my plumbing system. He Knew the problem, protected my home from future problems, arrived on time. My house is good for the next 20 years or so which is more than I can say for others who have worked on the plumbing. Moses Plumbing - had they been there the first time (6 years ago) would have saved me having to duplicate work. Rate them a very very high "A".

Description of Work: Recaulk 4 sinks and tub. Replace pump and flapper in 2 toilets and install earthquake straps for water heater. Also provided an inspection of plumbing. Everything went well except the cost was much more than anticipated for the work done.
