the guy was nice but not professional. he came to install water valve (to keep water pressure in check) but didnt bring the water pressure gauge. l just didnt make sense to me. i had to rely on his word of mouth for my water pressure at home instead of the water pressure gauge. so, at the moment i dont know what the actual water pressure is at my home and i am not happy.

Two weeks later the shower drain clogged again. This time would not drain at all. It took over two weeks for him to call back and offer to fix the problem. By that time I had already called and paid for another plumber to come in and fix the problem, which he did. As of this date (12/14) it has not clogged again. Obviously he did not correctly do the job in the first place. WIll not use again.

did a good job, fixed the problem I knew of, and alerted me to other things needing fixing (e.g., hairline crack in back of toilet) I opted to not do the additional work now.

Fine. I was disappointed that there was no other way to fix my shower lever. It's either going through the tile in the front, or punch a whole in the shhet rock from the back. Approx cost was $800-$1,000 to fix....ouch!

Gary was very attentive and stepped in to complete the service call himself when his associate had to call out sick. He took the time to educate me on the service he was providing, and his work has continued to hold up. His pricing was fair and his customer service was excellent, so I'd be happy to call on Moses Plumbing again should any needs arise in the future.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and it was good. The person who came out was honest, looked at everything and gave us a good quote. I paid quite a bit additional because we had him fix a lot of things.

He was great. He went over and beyond. We have already referred him to one of our neighbors.

Gary, the plumber, had to postpone appointment twice, but on the day he came, he was on time. Very pleasant. Went right to work after some conversation at the kitchen table. The coupon work took a couple of hours. Then, he pointed out piping in my laundry room that was starting to leak and should be replaced. I did not doubt his word--the house has original galvanized pipes and a couple have already been replaced. The plumber replaced considerable pipe with new copper piping. This job took most of the afternoon. I am pleased with the work he did, he cleaned up the work places well. I would recommend him.

Gary was prompt, knowledgable and professional. The job took an hour and he did the work that was required as stated above.

It was fine. He made recommendations about maintenance and fixes that should be done. He never followed up with us on any of the items.

Gary was here on time and quick to responded when I called. I would recommend him.

Moshe is very intelligent and does very good work. He did the work correctly, neatly and in a very professional manner. He seems a very good person. When a galvanized pipe broke accidentally (this is an old house) he fixed it and wasn't going to charge me his labor but I insisted, since the pipe was doubtlessly ready to give way anyway.

Very professional and gave good price. Quality service.

They did a good job. They were good but I would warn somebody that they take cash or check. They don't take credit cards and for large amounts of money, that might be a problem for somebody. They were very punctual and professional.

I bought the deal for kitchen faucet replacement. Installation was well done. I also was having a drainage problem. I paid extra to have a line cleaned out that the plumber, Gary, suspected was causing the slow drainage. He cleared the line but that did not solve the problem. He had to clear another line which gave me better drainage than I've had for over 10 years! He only charged for the cure that worked and not a penny for the hour of work that was what he originally suspected. A class act - A's all around!

Everything went fine. I paid the big deal price and there were no extra charges. I provided the new disposer and asked that he put in the new quick change part, which he did. He cleaned up and I was very happy.

after reviewing the entire house and the plumbin issues, made several recommendations to correct the issues. ended up putting a 3 inch clean out in my laundry room to take care of the back up in the kitchen since. Also used a camera to identify roots that were causing additional issues and made a recommendation to install a main drin cleanout.

D is for Disappointing. Gary was specifically asked if credit cards were accepted. He said no, yet credit cards are shown under the Moses Plumbing Payment Options on Angie's List at the Irvine location. Gary cut several holes in our house and started work in the upstairs bathroom but did not finish it. We will have to pay hundreds of dollars to fix the holes! At a certain point he announced he charged $100 an hour for looking for water leaks. He arrived in an unnamed van and has a business card saying he is a "tech" under Moses Plumbing's contractor license in Hollywood. He said he was Moses' partner but does not appear to have a contractor 's license of his own when I looked under his name on the Contractors License Board. There was no specific water leak. We relied on Gary's expertise and were disappointed that his strategy for looking for possible water damage consisted of cutting endless random holes. Gary seems to like doing what he wants to do and looks for any work which he can charge for. He proposed to charge hundreds of dollars more for the upstairs bathroom which did not require the fix he proposed including the cheap plastic door he wanted to install. He did install the replacement hardware for the wet bar ok, but then wanted $150 extra to fix the shut-off valves for the supply lines because one had a slight leak. We don't intend using him again and only did so originally because of the "A" ratings he received. It was our first use of a contractor from Angie's list and very disappointing.

Everything went well. They did good work for a fair price, and they were prompt and courteous.

He did everything that was promised and suggested other repairs he could perform as a licensed contractor besides being a plumber.

Gary was a complete rock star from beginning to end. Arrived on time - very friendly and knowledgeable - knew exactly what to do - and did an outstanding job! A real pleasure to have working on our home Will definitely call him again if the need arises and highly recommend him to anyone needing a plumber

I at first felt really bad that he needed to go under the house to assess the repairs needed. In thinking about it myself... you couldn't really pay me enough to go down there. He needed to repair and secure the subfloor from below so as not to rp out the tile in the bathroom. he took about 2 days to do the repair- lots of the time under the house to secure the floor, and he needed to break out the pipe to replace it and put in level to the floor which was what had caused the original leak. He did a great job. Showed up on time- communicated everything he did as he did it, and gave me options. I am very satisfied with the work and will definitely use him again on other plumbing projects I have on "the list".

Seems the free inspection is just way to lured customer for more work. He found many things and gave estimate. I found that my bathtub is draining the water slowly, seemed like it was blocked. So I called the home warrenty and schedule service that for three more items reported by inspection by Moses. To my surprise the plumber took hardly ten minutes to fix the items which Moses gave the estimate of 4/5 hrs and around $400. According to home warrenty plumber beside service call charge it was $5 more to fix the things. Also if I knew the problem it would have been just $5 cost to fix the things I got the estimate of $400.
