Gary shows up on time, and does a great job. Our house has some very old plumbing, and Gary climbed through some very nasty crawl spaces to take pictures of the probems,... show them to me and explain exactly what the problem is and what needs to be done, and then took pictures of the finished product to show me what the solution was. Not only that, he did a lot of his work with my 4 year old "helping" him. Gary was great with the kids, did great work, and his prices are fair. Everyone should have a plumber, a mechanic, a lawyer, and a doctor they trust. I now have my plumber.

They did a good job on the plumbing repairs but seemed expensive for the work they did. They also repaired the water heater and was later notified I had to replace it anyways.

My American Standard toilet started running most of the time, so I had Gary from Moses Plumbing come to check it out. He said the seal was deteriorating and I could either rebuild the toilet or replace it with a new one. I really appreciated that he gave me options. I decided on a new one and he suggested Toto, so I did my research and selected the model I wanted. Since it was one that needed to be ordered, there was a bit of a wait. On the day of installation Gary discovered that there was not quite enough room to place the new toilet against the back wall, so he made a couple of adjustments and made it work. This is the third plumbing project that Gary has performed for me (new water heater, new garbage disposal, and new toilet). I have found him to be professional, responsible, polite, and neat. I will definitely call him again in the future!

I purchased a special deal for plumbing repairs. It took a little longer than I'd wanted to schedule the appointment. But once he arrived, everything was as good as I could expect. He inspected my toilets, confirmed what needed to be fixed, and made the repairs in a prompt,, professional way. I would use him again in the future.

Gary responded to my request for service very promptly. He was punctual, professional, courteous,neat, and charged a very fair price. The drain posed an unusual situation in that it has no overflow. He explained the possible remedies and went to work. When he began work on the toilet, it required reseating and a new wax ring. Gary goes the extra mile to insure he does the job correctly. He takes pride in his work and backs it up with a guarantee. All work was completed as agreed I will certainly be calling Gary for all my future needs Thank you, Gary. Thank you Angie's List!!

They came in exactly when they said they would and finished when they expected. They cleaned everything up afterwards. They were very professional. The city inspector commented that it was done exceptionally well.

We've lived in our home for 27 years and luckily have had little plumbing needs. Gary initially did all the "check ups" as listed on the advertisement. But, we knew he would find some underlying issues. He checked all three bathrooms: sinks were good although one needed a blockage cleared, showers were good, tubs were good, 2 toilets needed some attention which he spent a lot of time evaluating and then made the necessary repairs. In the kitchen; the sinks were good; although he's going to do some repairs on the dishwasher drain at a later date. In the garage - the water heater was drained and flushed. He also checked our external yard faucets and replaced a couple faucets with much better quality items. He will also be replacing our gas line in our fireplace at a later date. Although he may have been running late for one appointment, he called to keep us informed of his timeline which was not an issue for us. We look forward to continuing to work with Gary to complete some of the outstanding items in our home. He's a pleasure to work with.

He was on time, took his time, carefully explained what he was doing, what he was looking for, what plumbing problems I had or can anticipate.

He removed a cap from the clean-out drain and installed something that would not pass long beach plumbing code. Prior to doing so, he rescheduled multiple times. Once he came out he "tried" to up charge us for things that really did not need to be done. The "Big Deal" was used as an entry to scam into accessing more money. I am totally done with Angie's List vendor "BIG DEALS". I was not charged the requested up-charge fee, the fee beyond the Big Deal fee already paid for a service not rendered, after I asked was what he installed legal...

I had hired house cleaners to clean the house on a Thursday and one of the cleaners came and told me the toilet was leaking. Actually the toilet bolts were leaking on both sides and I did my best to tighten them before the water coming out became a flood. I was unable to shut off the water under the toilet because the valve wouldn't turn. I was very concerned because I knew the tank bolts were no longer functioning and it was only a matter of time before they gave way. I searched Angie's List and found a highly rated plumber, Moses Plumbing and called the plumber, Gary. When I called, Gary picked up the phone immediately and listened to my concerns. He shared he was currently on a job that he wasn't sure would be done in time but would call me between 3:30 - 5:30 pm to let me know for sure. Promptly at 3:30 the phone rang and Gary told me he would not be able to make it that day but offered me his earliest appointment the next day. We agreed upon a time and Gary arrived 10 minutes early to get to work. We already knew there was a problem with our outside water main. We live in an Association that does not have individual water meters and the neighborhood water system is all connected together. It was installed when the neighborhood was built in 1974 without safety shut offs for each condo. Our neighbors have all been having safety valve's installed to prevent a total water main shut off when one unit turns off their water and we knew it needed to be done for our condo. A previous plumber had quoted an exorbitant price to install the safety valve and another plumber had quoted a very high price. When Gary looked at the outside shutoff he told us he had a method to fix it that posed no risk to the neighborhood (extremely important) and the price was incredibly reasonable. As we walked past the outside leaking spigot he offered to fix it as well. Then we showed him the bathroom - the main reason he was there - and discussed that he would replace the tank bolts and then reset the toilet (of course replacing the seal). Gary's price for all of this work was half the price the other plumbers had quoted to only install a safety on the outside water main! Gary and his assistant worked diligently and professionally starting with the outside water shut off, the leaking spigot and then the toilet. Once he got to the bathroom Gary found the reason I couldn't turn off the water under the toilet was because the valve was totally corroded and rotten. So he replaced that as well. He and his assistant were wonderful to work with and focused on getting the job done right. There were no surprises or hidden charges and even when the under the toilet valve had to be replaced it was included in the original quote. Plumbing is messy but Gary and his assistant completely cleaned up after themselves. Gary was professional, honest, incredibly easy to work with, punctual and his prices are outstanding. I have found the best plumber and will continue to use Gary whenever we have a plumbing need.

Had the hot water heater flushed and plumbing inspection performed, as part of the big deal I bought. Several things were recommended. We ended up having the water pressure regulator changed (which we knew was faulty when we bought the house less than a year before). Nice guy, would recommend him.

Gary came over, he was very polite and courteous. We were told the issue with the toilet was not repairable under the $99 for a complete toilet repair/rebuild and we would need a replacement toilet which he could do for about $500 due to the toilet having multiple hairline fractures. At this time we had to decline as we first thought $99 on Angie's List became $200 on the phone with the company. That later became $500 in person. I'm sure he would have done a great job as many other people have had him do wonders. At this time we could not afford it and will need to look else where.

Everything went smoothly and professionally. Happy with the results.

The issue was fixed by the professional plumber who worked hard and cleaned the congested line.

He answered my call right away; made the appointment for the next morning; arrived exactly on time; brought an assistant he was training and was thoroughly professional in every way. It was especially impressive to hear him training his young apprentice - he was very clear with his instructions, allowed the young fellow to participate, and was very patient with him. Gary's charming English accent was lovely to listen to as well! I would unequivocally recommend him any time, and will certainly call him again should the need arise. Everything has been great, and the sink drains quickly and efficiently!!

Gary arrived on the same day that I called even though this was not an emergency. We have a vacation home that had not been used for a couple months and, after coming back to it, I discovered a completely blocked toilet that was completely dry as well. I wasn't sure how far down the clog went and I didn't think a plunger would work with the dried material, so I asked Gary to help me out. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, provided general plumbing advice and allowed me to use his blow torch for a lamp post repair I was working on. When I asked him about our water heater, while other plumbers had told us that we should replace it in the past, Gary gave prudent advice on not wasting our money yet, also advised us against getting the more expensive tank-less water heater in the future because our water use does not justify it.

Very knowledgable, professional and punctual. Repaired all of the plumbing problems, i.e leaking sink, pipe replacements and he also discovered additional problem areas in my shower. He was very friendly and explained every repair he was going to do. He was a little pricey but he completed a lot of repairs. I will definitely use him again.

Worked efficiently. Did what he described. Kept areas clean while working.

Was on time or called to update. Left all areas clean and tidy. Very congenial.

Gary called to let me know when to expect him. He explained what he would do & provided an estimate. I asked if he could extend the cleanout for easier access (this was not disclosed initially). He was kind enough to spend extra time to do this.

Very well the big deal also included an inspection.

Gary examined the current disposal and determined it was not able to be fixed. He was prepared to replace it with a new unit and did so very quickly. He also checked out a couple of other items that needed to be "improved" and did so at NO additional cost. I enjoyed having him there. We had a WONDERFUL conversation on a number of topics while he worked.. We had both spent time in the UK so we discussed various things in that regard.

Very well. Moses showed up on time and was very clear in what he was doing. Explained what he was doing so that I could do it myself. Offered some suggestions on things and had answers to all of my questions. Even offered tips on how to do some repairs myself.
