It went very well. Gary was professional, informative,(he listened to me and made good suggestions for my problem areas), he came prepared, and worked non-stop, Next day I had a question. He got right back to me and resolved the issue. He cleaned up thoroughly when he left.

Gary located the leak that originated in a shower valve and made the repair -- replacing the valve. He did good work, communicated well throughout the process, and did a good clean-up.

I had a bad experience with a plumber that was originally sent out by this company and didn't write a very positive review. While I was away, last week, I received 2 phone calls from the companies owner apologizing for the poor work the original man didn't do and he wanted to make it right by giving me back my money, do the inspection and give me a gift card. I finally spoke to the owner today and he was very kind and most important, professional. We have set things up for him to do the inspection himself tomorrow and take a look at another property I own to give me a bid on a job on that house. Today in the mail I received a check for the original inspection and a gift card. This has had me flabbergasted. I have to say that this is the kind of company that I appreciate and want to do business with. I generally don't complain and don't have very high expectations but this company has gone beyond itself with Great Customer Service. I look forward to writing a great review. As of now he would get an A+ for the great customer service.

I couldn’t be more pleased. He was neat, nice, and did a great job overall. He stuck with the price he originally quoted me, which is a nice change from what other companies tend to do. If you have any plumbing problems, you should definitely use Moses Plumbing.

water valve replacement was an additional 147 dollars . a refund of $108 has been promised me.

Arrived on time, professional, friendly, completed the plumbing inspection to alert me of potential problems or items needing attention. Informed me soldered on hose bib and the nipples are $100 extra. Also showed me a check valve was leaking. I agreed to replace while they were there. They cleaned up their mess and triple checked connections.

This is an update from my previous review, in which I requested a refund due to the provider not responding to messages over the course of a few weeks. I received an email and phone call on 9/18/14 apologizing for the delay, offering to come out by the end of the week to do the service I paid for, plus was going to give me a $100 credit towards future repairs. He actually came out the same day I spoke with him. Gary was quite thorough. Checked all faucets/fixtures throughout the house, telling me what was good, what was not so good, and what I should consider fixing/replacing. He was fine with letting me follow him around the house and take notes on what was going on. It turned out that my outdoor hose faucet only needed a good tightening to stop the leaking. And for the water heater, the flush came out clear, with no sediment. (possibly from our water softener doing it's job). He was very informative, and wrote up a list of his recommendations, ranging from smaller toilet valve repairs to water shutoff valve replacement to water heater replacement. No pressure. I told him I'd discuss it with my husband and we'd get back to him. The $100 credit is good for a year. I'm happy he was able to come out and do the service. He seemed down to earth, and honest. (I thought some of the repairs were pretty reasonable.) And I feel better knowing that for $49, I was able to ease my mind about some of the noises I was hearing and whether my 10 year old water heater was filled with sediment.

After a little back and forth on finding a time everything went very well. In addition to replacing the inner workings of three toilets for a reasonable charge, the plumber cleared two drains, sealed a shower head, readjusted the water pressure for the unit and provided consult on future work that may need to be done at no additional charge. I was very satisfied with the work that was done and would use this service again.

It was an okay experience overall. It was very informative.

This felt like a bait and switch. This was an Angie's Special to replace a hose bib for $49.95. The day I made an appointment they had a four hour window, 8 a.m. to noon. They called me at 15 minutes to noon to cancel because the current job they were doing ran longer than anticipated and they had to turn off the house water so they couldn't leave. They rescheduled for another day with a two hour window and Gary, presumably the owner, said he would come personally. He arrived on time with a trainee he was using in the field. They looked at the hose bib and I said not to do anything invasive without talking to me first. Nothing invasive had to be done but when they finished he said that it would cost an extra $137, I assumed for parts, which brought the total from the $49.95 up to $186.95. After having gone to Home Depot and seeing that the hose bib, ground wires and two clamps weren't close to costing $137 I e-mailed Gary asking why it cost so much. I haven't heard back.

I paid for a special Angie's deal on Aug 17 to replace an outside faucet for a water hose. After 2 emails from me, Moses Plumbing representative said he was on vacation until Sep 1. Since then I have heard nothing. --David Doo

I have to say...Gary has done an EXCELLENT JOB in providing service to our plumbing problems. Although the bill has cost us $655 + the Angie's Deal of $39, it was disclosed and explained very clearly of what caused the plumbing problem and the necessary work and parts suggested to correct the problem. Evenmore, his work is warranted and guaranteed to perfection! The shower drain was draining water but not quick enough and we have to call Gary back to check on it; he responded right away with a very positive attitude assuring us that it is under warranty with no extra charge to us. Within a couple of days, Gary has showed up and took care of the problem right away and now the drain is draining water free and clear. Thanks to Gary ... not sure if he is the owner but he sure leaves us a very good impression and high quality workmanship, we will definitely call him for future plumbing needs and we will HIGHLY RECOMMENDING him to anyone who has a plumbing problem. Also, thanks to Angie's List or we wouldn't have trusted to call just any plumber without reference.

The initial visit was fine. They were very efficient. I called them back because I thought I had a leaky toilet but they never called me back. I fixed the issue myself.

It went well. The service person (Gary) was professional and courteous. He did a thorough inspection and gave me a realistic appraisal of my deficiencies with his recommendations. When I authorized the work, he went beyond what he stated he was going to do by replacing many of the shower fixtures instead of just fixing them.

They came out and stated that I needed a new toilet and said it would cost me $550.00 to replace the old with a new one. I felt the estimate was on the high side. They were on time for the appointment and did what they were supposed to do.

Excellent job. Gary and his team where prompt and courteous. The installation was done with the highest degree of professionalism. Gary also gave the entire house a once over and made several helpful recommendations. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Moses.

They did a very good job. "Big Gary" called to let me know he would be a little bit late which was nice, and he did a very thorough job. He was also very polite. I was very happy with the work. He also wrote an estimate for other services I need done which was great.

We were really satisfied with the work. It was easy to get them to come out and they were on time for the appointment. We would use them again.

After he took the deposit, he said he was busy and rescheduled my appointment. Susbsequently, another guy show up on his behalf and try to fix the leak of the toilet. After the replacement parts, he test out the toilet again and said it's still leaking and therefore there is other problems. During the initial visit, I was wondering if I should just switch out the old toilet and have Gary install the new one. He told me it wasn't necessary since there is only one problem and they can easily fix that. The second guy told me that they would have to charge me more to fix the toilet after I have spent over $300 to fix it. Changing to a complete new toilet would actually be more cost effective.

One year ago Gary replaced my aging water heater, so it was time for the recommended annual flush. I called Gary in the morning and he was able to schedule it for the same afternoon because he was going to be in the neighborhood to replace my neighbor's water heater. I did not expect such prompt service right before a holiday weekend! Not only did he do a thorough job at the end of a long day, but he also suggested I write down the steps in the event I wanted to try it myself in the future. Gary is now my "go to" plumber (having replaced the water heater and garbage disposal, as well as a toilet). I especially appreciate how Gary has fully explained what he was doing for all of the work he has done for me. I highly recommend Moses Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs. Gary is a gem.

Gary was quick to respond to my inquiry. He knew what the possible problems could be and gave me an accurate quote. When he arrived I was getting other work done in the house and after he filled me in on what the problem was and what it would require, plus worst case scenario, I let him do his work. It turned out that all was not as bad as it could have been and the job got done quickly and perfectly. I greatly appreciated his professionalism and candor. The repairs he did were done well and are still holding up. Great job, personable, and professional!

Leak detection was efficient and accurate, requiring only one small hole cut in first floor ceiling below leak. Gary replaced drywall and repaired area is not obvious. Source of water leak was bad wax seal in upstairs toilet. Flange was built up to level of the tile floor and new wax ring installed. No further leaks were observed. OVERALL OBSERVATIONS: Work was performed in a careful and neat manner; work areas were left perfectly clean. Gary is a good communicator; he kept me informed during each stage of the repairs and told me in advance when additional charges would apply. Pricing for the job was fair and no unexpected charges appeared at the end. Gary and his assistant were polite, friendly, and very professional.

Gary is a bit overpriced, however, you're paying for his skill and top notch customer service. He is on time and responds to phone calls. If you want a cheaper plumber with less skills, then call someone else. You get what you pay for. I can tell Gary has a lot of experience in the plumbing trade. He had good 1-3 year guarantees on his work because he is confident in his quality of work.

Very straightforward and in agreed upon schedule. Good work and easy to deal with.

To date, it has not gone well. I wish the company would be more responsive.
