He checked our faucets and rained the water heater.

We weren't confident enough to install a replacement garbage disposal we had purchased, and also had a separate issue with humming pipes. At 9pm on a Tuesday, I called a number of providers, expecting to just get voicemail. Of four plumbers I called, Gary was the only one to personally pick up my late-evening call. After a few questions he gave me a rough estimate over the phone ($175). Unlike other providers, he doesn't charge extra for a weekend appointment. Other plumbers wanted $40-$50 just to make the trip and give us an on-site estimate. While of course this would go towards work performed, Gary had already given us a reasonable price (and a weekend appt) so I stuck with him. Seemed better than gambling with one of the others. As we reached our Saturday appointment window, I called Gary just to confirm. He immediately picked up (again!) to tell me he was done with his other job and 20 minutes away. Gary is clearly a veteran with a lot of experience. He's happy to answer questions and show you what he's doing. When making recommendations for potential upgrades/installations, he speaks plainly about costs for parts and labor. He didn't discourage us from doing our own shopping for parts; instead, he gave simple quotes for installation if I decide to go forward with any given option. The disposal installation turned out to be an easier job than we'd originally anticipated, so Gary knocked $25 off his original quote. He didn't rush the work or the other items that I had him inspect. He was responsive, punctual, courteous, and good-humored. Kept everything low-stress. If and when we need bigger jobs done, this company will be the first one I call.

Good. A little hard getting the appt. scheduled and hearing back from the company but it finally worked out. Gary arrived, asked what I was most concerned about and started there. We tried a solution to the problem by replacing a part. We talked about other options but it seems the water heater will need to be replaced in the near future. He checked the faucets, etc. for leaks or problems and advised me how to correct a small grout issue. He also checked the pipes under the house and gave me an estimate to replace old connections; which I hope to be able to do in the future.

I bought the plumbing tune-up & water heater flush Angie's deal for Moses Plumbing last year. I got busy and sort of forgot about the certificate until Gary from Moses Plumbing called me in October to let me know he'd be in the area if I'd like to schedule my appointment for my certificate. Terrific customer service to follow-up and remind me! Once again I was busy and put it off until I finally called him last week. I asked if he'd be in my area anytime soon and was pleasantly surprised that he could book me within the week. Gary called me at 1:30pm today to let me know he'd arrive at 3:45pm which was within the timeframe scheduled. He was prompt, courteous, personable, knowledgeable and professional. He was patient with my numerous questions. I am very pleased with the service and the affordable price. He was efficient and clean (no left over debris like plumbers in the past.) In addition to what I contracted for he checked things over for me so I could keep an eye out for future potential problems, but there was no hard-sell to make me feel as if I had to do everything today. I did need a couple small fixes that were not included in my 'deal'. His fees were reasonable. I was more than pleased with the service and would highly recommend Moses Plumbing - my new go-to plumber!

For the price some plumbers would charge just for a visit, Moses performed a detailed review of our plumbing, and then fixed/reapired/replaced all that was necessary. The work was done professionally, and has lasted without problems through the date of this review (Jan 2015). I would absolutely recommend Moses.

The service was very good. They ended up doing quite a bit more plumbing work around our house so there were extra fees. The quality of their work was excellent. I have used them before and will continue to do so.

It went really well. The thing I really appreciated, besides the fact that the problem was fixed, was: I called in the morning for an appointment that day and was given a 3 hour window in the afternoon for the appointment. 2 hours into the window I received a call from Gary saying that he would was somewhat delayed and would be there towards the end of the 3 hour window. He then showed up during the last hour of the 3 hour window. Given that this was my first dealing with Gary, I really appreciated being updated on the the appointment time. I have Moses Plumbing business card on our cork board and will use them again for future plumbing needs.

We had experience with Gary previously and were very pleased with the outcome. When we called this time, there wasn't a rush and he is very busy. In spite of his busy schedule he worked us in for the original problem late on Friday and early on a Saturday morning. After fixing the waste line, we asked him to diagnose the other problems. He was thorough in his evaluation and spent a great deal of time detecting potential problems for us. While we were not on his calendar at that point, he worked throughout the week taking care of the problems in a logical manner. We feel that he gave us the best price and we have total confidence in all of his work. We feel the water heater he used is bigger and better than the one that was replaced for a good price. We feel he had our safety and our budget in mind at all times. Luis and Gary put in at least four long days of hard work and you would not know they were even here at this point as they were meticulous in their cleanup. I don't usually enjoy having our schedules disrupted by home repairs but these two were very easy to have around. They were careful to explain all of their work and what it would mean if we did or did not do the repairs. Both men are always friendly and always working. (They were also very patient with our barky dog!)

They were late in responding to my original request for service and late to the job but both with good reason. Both men were professional and friendly, competent and diligent in their work. They listened closely to what my concerns were and made sure they addressed them in plain and very understandable terms, answering my questions, raising concerns I was not aware of with possible options. Low pressure a** far as getting me to agree with recommendations. They worked quickly and cleaned up fairly well after themselves. I would use them again.

Called the problem into Gary on Sunday and Luis was here on Monday right on time at 9am. He examined the main problem (a leaking pipe in the living room wall). He explained the upfront inspection/diagnosis fee and the hourly rate. We also talked about other plumbing issues in the house (previously known to me) which included numerous corroded and twenty year old shutoff valves and a mainline valve that couldn't quite shut off. Also a couple of fill-pumps and a check valve. Normally I would have considered delaying the extra improvements but had already previously decided that the house was getting overdue for them. Luis worked until about 7PM total for the whole job and pressure tested all the valves as well. Overall I was quite satisfied with the work and would work with Moses Plumbing again for both repairs and preventative maintenance. Thanks to Gary and Luis for a job well done.

After being yelled by the owner, I hung up, wrote this review, and selected another company.

Company emailed me after I purchased the deal and said they would set something up in a couple of days. They have not responded to me since. I have just decided to cancel this service.

Gary initially came out to inspect a leak in my unit and it was determined to be the old water heater leaking through the wall. Of course being an older unit the plumbing pipes and valves are very difficult to work with but they were able to stop the bleeding quickly and recommend some water removal and remediation specialists for the damage that had already been done. They explained things clearly and I felt were honest, practical and to the point. Because of this while they were onsite to replace the water heater, I got quotes for additional plumbing improvements and all of the work was done with quality. Even during an uncomfortable plumbing emergency, they made things as easy as possible and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them for future work.

It was not bad. I thought what's the point of the Big Deal? I wasn't happy paying that much money. I don't think I got a good deal.

Gary had been out previously when my water heater pilot light went out and wouldn't relight, and he had warned me then that it was at the end of it's warranty and life span, so no surprise. But what was so pleasant was that Gary showed up right on time, looked at the unit, discussed my needs, went and bought a new unit and installed within 3 1/2 hours. He is quick, efficient, thorough and cleans up after all his work. Although he is not cheap, he is not at the high end either, and his work is impeccable.

I purchased the deal, but they did not do the service. We made arrangements for them to come out on 01/03/15 between 10:00am and 1:00 pm. I called at 1:00pm because they had not showed up for the scheduled appointment. He apologized that he did not write it down, but said that he thought it was the 3rd or the 5th. I tried to reschedule, but it wasnt working and decided to cancel the whole thing.

We had our water heater fail on New Years Day. Concerned that we'd have cold water for a few days. Called Moses Plumbing on Friday, 1/2/15 and Gary answered. He said he could start later that day and replace the water heater. He called later to confirm and showed up on time. The existing system had a recirculating pump and required additional work to interface to new heater. Gary explained everything including the warranty period and provided detailed written quotation. He completed the water heater installation that afternoon so we had hot water that evening. He came back Saturday to complete the plumbing of the recirculating pump. We are pleased with the work provided and the professionalism of Gary. We would recommend him for your plumbing needs.

Entire house plumbing was in great condition. No additional services needed

Additionally, while it's inevitable that some toilet water will splash in the process, he grabbed toilet paper with wet hands to wipe up a few spots. Effectively ruining most of the roll of toilet paper as it was now soaked through multiple layers. Overall a pretty good service, but a bit more attention to details would be nice.

Louis was ver competent and professional. I will be calling them in the new year to replace more parts under my sink.

It went well and it was a good experience. I've had them out once. He did what he was supposed to do and we talked about future work.

Gary was able to determine we did not have a leak. Made suggestions on how to properly maintain the health of my home's plumbing. Very professional and friendly. I felt their prices were fair and I didn't feel pressure to opt in for additional services like I have with other plumbers.

I called Gary Saturday Night at about 5:30 p.m. He came out Sunday morning first thing. He also offered to come out Saturday Night at a reduced rate since it was still Saturday. He explained the approximate Saturday Rate , Sunday Rate and Weekday Rates for what I needed to get done. He also checked out the general plumbing, water pressure etc... I highly recommend his company.

Great. They fixed the bathroom tub and evaluated the rest of my home's plumbing for me. They made excellent recommendations that I look forward to enacting later.

Service had to be rescheduled due to illness but was not a real inconvenience. Technician arrived within in the time frame set and promptly completed the inspection and made a recommendation to address a problem that we had. Minor repair (outside of the special package deal) was completed quickly and several suggestions were made to be included in a future remodeling. Technician was friendly and professional. Overall very please with work done.
