Victal Leon - Unlicensed Contractor

The final result was great but an 8 hour job turned out to take 6 days

I hired Victal to power wash the pavers around my home however he talked me into also including the windows from the outside only. I was out of town and my friend was housesitting while the work was being done only to come home very dissatisfied with the work. The windows had more streaks than prior to the work, the pavers looked the same. I called him and they came back to finish and focused on the windows instead of the pavers, what I originally hired him for. The problem is I paid him $1,200 upfront, since I was going to be out of town, and he didnt care about the quality of his work, since he already got paid. The pavers look worst than before with all these streaks, and I have been trying to reach him since October and I get is lies about being out of town due to an emergency, and false promises to comeback and fix the problem. This is very disappointing since I had many other people bid on this job, whatever you do dont hire him or at least pay after the job is complete and you are satisfied with his work. We have been going back and forth since October 5, 2021 which he keeps saying he is coming back and never shows up. Very unsatisfied and sure HomeAdvisor doesnt want this type of contractors on this website. On October 26, 2021 I texted that if he doesnt respond to me I would leave a bad review, to which he replied no bad reviews will be there the next day, well the next day came and he texted that he would have to reschedule for Monday morning, I said fine but don't leave me hanging. He hasn't responded since nor has he reached out to me to correct the horrible job I paid $1,200 for. I hate leaving poor reviews however I dont want anyone to get the same type of service, I am truly dissatisfied.
