These guys are great! I manage a local business and started taking our company vehicles here around the beginning of 2014. I have no complaints. They always get the job done and in a timely fashion. I have used many other mechanics around town over the years but they are hands down the best. They have fixed problems that others threw there hands up at. Highly reccomended.

Took the vehicle in some time ago for the engine.  I've been going to John for many years.  Ultimately turned out to be blown valves in the engine.  As this was a weird 3 valve system, it took quite some time to secure parts.  So, the marking of Not Applicable is why I chose that response.  The tardiness of parts isn't really his, or the shop's, fault.   I cannot recommend John or the shop high enough.

Shortly after purchasing an older used vehicle with a very limited warranty.  Within 3 days the check engine light came on.  The dealership directed me to Johnson Auto Electric to have it looked at.   The dealerships warrantee covered a $1200 replacement of the catalytic converter (reasonable, avg. cost of this repair), at this point my warranty was over and did not cover a cylinder adjustment still needed to ensure the same part failure would not happen again.  John actually negotiated on my behalf with the dealer and there was no cost to me!  While there waiting for my repairs I noted the many training certificates on their walls, there seemed to be no part of an engine that wasn't covered by certified training.  I also saw many customers picking up their vehicles who praised them for their quality work.   I was pleased with the entire experience even considering that I had just bought a car that needed a major repair!  Great customer service.  I have definitely found the go to place for car repair in our area!

Took my 4runner in for a blown head gasket. They had the truck for 26 days. The first gasket made the truck overheat. They put in a new radiator (which I was charged for,even thou I clearly stated the radiator that was in it was only 3 months old and under warranty) and 2 new thermostats which then got left out and even by passed the heater core (so now there is no heater) before finally figuring out it was overheating due to the head gasket they just installed. So they put on a new gasket and don't bother fixing the heatercore outputting the new thermostat back in. Then I get the truck but with the check engine light on and this horrible knocking sound and the whole truck just horrible. I had to climb under my truck and repair the broken wires on the knock sensor (at 5 month's pregnant) and I found numerous vacuum lines not connect and a disconnected air intake. Not to mention my spark plugs were completely covered in oil and the vehicle was badly out of time. On top of all this I was charged over $2900 for a non working vehicle. And no I wasn't about to bring it back (as they suggested)so I could go another 26 days without my only vehicle. This place is horrible.

They did some good work last year but I do not remember the specific part.  Lately they checked the service engine light and charged me half price for the diagnostics as it turned out to be a leak in the exhaust system and was easily repaired.

They diagnosed for $110, then gave me an estimate.  They stuck to the estimate and completed the repair on time.  Estimate was comparable to other auto shops .   My friend went to replace his timing belt and they told him he did not need it.  Honest answer.
