PRO FIT KITCHENS

Blackmailed me into paying a portion of the final payment before the project was completed by threatening that there would be no work done. It was supposed to be a 12 week project and we are on week 29 and still counting. Admitted to abandoning the project a minimum of three times in front of witnesses. Quality of work varies greatly from very good to poor. Tells me how something should be done, then does exactly the opposite. Failed to meet written deadlines on multiple occasions. Neglected my project for days and weeks at a time in order to work on other projects. While specifications were given to him months ago, custom cabinets were not made to fit appliances. I moved out at great personal inconvenience for what was to be two and a half to three weeks and turned out to be more like 12 weeks. No kitchen sink for all 28 weeks, no sink at all for several weeks, with just a hose in the yard to use for water. Claimed to be fabricating my granite for the kitchen island several times, but then finally admitted that the granite had not even been picked up yet. I went to the place that Pro Fit Kitchens told me to go and choose the granite slabs that I wanted, wrote my name on them and Pro Fit Kitchens was supposed to pick them up. However, Pro Fit Kitchens decided to purchase slabs I had never seen from another company in Los Angeles. When I left Pro Fit Kitchens to do their work, days and weeks went by with no work being done and little got accomplished. When I began attempting to improve communications and get questions answered as such; when will this be done and when will the project be finished. I was told to stop micro-managing the job, so I left them alone again. The result was days and weeks with no work being done and no communication from them as to why there were constant delays. I have made several requests for copies of all my paper work so I have the information for warranty purposes and also wanted to have the job evaluated after conflict in the contract occurred request ignored. I had to haul a truckload of trash to the dump myself. Trash had been accumulating for about a month since Pro Fit Kitchens did not supply a dumpster of any kind. The construction waste and materials being dumped in them by Pro Fit Kitchens could have ruined a couple of my clean greens trashcans. Cleaning was promised to be done at the end of this project. I have had to do it myself since the end is still not in sight and I am attempting to live in the house amongst the debris. I finally told Pro Fit Kitchens that I would do all the paint touch-up, which should have been done by them, so they could focus on the stuff still needing to be completed that I could not do, in order to speed the completion of this project and conclude the contract. Requested a phone call each day no one was going to show up no follow through. Avoid Pro Fit Kitchens!!!
