Danny and his crew did an excellent job. If they had questions, they asked what I preferred to have done. Friendly Crew that worked 5 days to complete the job, as there was a lot of tedious work to be done, as there were more that 60 years of paint on mouldings and doors that needed to be stripped and repainted. GREAT work. They even came back to do some small touch ups which was very nice!

Overall, Danny and his team were fantastic. He strikes me as the kind of guy who simply won't do a half-hearted job. The quality of the work was just exceptional. His guys we're incredibly detail oriented. Anybody can make walls look decent, but the cabinetry and shelves came out beautifully, especially considering what they had to work with. The old cabinets had been very poorly repainted by the home's previous owner with flat paint, so Danny's guys had to strip all that stuff off. Now they just shine. He also painted a full-wall built-in bookshelf that we were planning to rip out. When Danny saw it, he suggested that we paint it, and it looks so good that we're really glad we left it in. Danny's team also worked very courteously around some minor repair and upgrade work we had going on in our kitchen and bath, saving those areas for last. They were nice, clean, responsive and responsible. They always asked how I wanted things if they had any questions at all. They took extremely good care of the house. It was empty at the time (we just bought it), so that made it a lot easier on them, but we didn't notice a scratch or nick or ding anywhere. Danny himself was extremely pleasant to work with. He was always accessible for questions and came by the job daily or more frequently to check on the work. After we were not pleased with the colors we had chosen, he recommended some colors that we just love. The only minor downsides were price and timing. Danny's quote was significantly higher than other bids, but then we realized his bid included paint (and top quality paint at that), while others didn't. In the end, his price was still higher, but not by too much. As for timing, it took the crew about 3 days longer than planned to do the work. The issue was another job...we were supposed to have a crew of 4 for the whole job, but the first week only 2 guys were free. (Those 2 guys were always on time, worked really hard, and got a tremendous amount done in the time they worked.) A couple more guys came in to finish the job at the end. It wasn't a big deal for us, but you might want to make sure that his whole crew is available if timing is important to you. So, overall, I would highly recommend Danny. We will definitely use him when we paint the exterior of our house in a couple of years.

While Danny's estimate was the highest of the 3 received, he was the most professional of the painters and he matched the middle price. Used high quality Benjiman Moore Paint and brought in a group of three painters for three days and two painters the last day to finish up. While it took 4 days instead of the estimated 3, it was because they wanted to get the job done well as opposed to fast. Cleaned up well after themselves and overall did about a good a job as you could expect. I would recommend and use again without hesitation.

I contacted Danny for an estimate to repaint the exterior of our house in Topanga. From the first encounter on the phone to the moment they drove out having finished the job the experience was as perfect as one could ask for. The highest levels of professionalism, expert advice and a first class job. His team was first rate, he was personally on site everyday to check on progress. His estimate was right on both in terms of cost and time to complete job. If you looking for a company you can trust to do the job you want I could not recommend Danny and One Way Paint and Design more highly.

Danny and his crew from One Way Paint & Design rock! We purchased a home earlier this year and did our research on providers. One Way stood out and they more than lived up to the reviews on this site. Danny was quick to respond, came to meetings on time, and was very thorough. He patiently helped us pick colors for our home and gave us several samples (which he put on for us) to make a decision. Once colors were selected, his crew were super helpful and considerate of our young children's nap times, etc. Most importantly, they took special care to insure the job was done right and on time. Neighbors we have never met stop by to this day complimenting the paint job and asking who did the work. Your search is over...just call Danny at One Way.

It went fantastically. We had a very small window to paint in and Danny was wonderfully patient in helping us get things done in time. His crew worked extraordinarily fast and got it all done in 2 days. I literally can't think of anything bad to say. Danny's price was higher than other quotes, but I had the most confidence in his ability to get the job done right the first time and I can absolutely say it was worth the additional money.

They did a very professional job. They arrived when they said they would and they finished the project on time. The work looks really nice.

. They had to paint my kitchen after removing the wall paper and preparing the walls. They installed molding between the top of the ceiling and the wall. They did a really beautifully job and then when they were all done predictably there were stuff that were not well done or missed out so they came back and fixed everything. I would use them in the future.

Danny's crew did an amazing job! It is like living in a new house. When Danny first came to give me the estimate, he assured me painting my place was a inexpensive way to give it a make over. He was absolutely right. My kitchen is a whole new kitchen with no remodeling work completed. The paint he used on my cabinets was amazing. They look brand new. At first I wasn't sure about his color recommendation. I thought it was going to be to dark. But after speaking to his crew who assured me Danny's color expertise should be trusted, I went with his recommendation. And I am so glad I did. The color looks rich against my new floors. Exactly the look I was looking for. Danny's crew arrived on time every day. They worked a full day everyday they were here. They cleaned up after themselves and were extremely polite and courteous. After having my new flooring installed, I requested to have them come back for touch up work. A crew member came back and completed the touch up work within a couple of hours. Next year, Danny and his crew will be back to paint my upstairs. I give them an A++. I am very impressed with his color expertise and his crews workmanship

Danny is absolutely great - he gets five stars for his services! He's not just you ordinary painter, he is a color consultant who will help and advise you on the colors you're picking out. I was a little overwhelmed at first having to make all of these choices, but Danny helped me pick out the most beautiful colors. He is very responsive, usually picks up the phone right away or at the least gets back to you within a day, and always keeps you updated on the progress of things. I scheduled an appointment with him for an estimate on Tuesday; told him I wanted to hire him on Wednesday or Thursday; and he came out that Monday and had his crew get started on the painting. I had the entire house except the bathrooms painted, plus vaulted ceilings, and Danny's crew also installed baseboards for me and painted them - which by the way looks absolutely beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone! They worked incredibly fast but still with attention to detail, and had everything done & painted within three days - I was amazed! (They did come back at a later point, after my new hardwood floors had been installed, to do the baseboard molding.) And best of all, not only does One Way Paint provide excellent quality service, they also do it for about half the cost that other painters charge (I got two other estimates which were way more expensive). Overall I would absolutely recommend One Way Paint - they're fast, efficient, detail-oriented and ready in no time... in fact I will definitely call them back when I'm doing the outside of the house!

Gosh. Danny came and gave us a detailed (and I mean detailed...number of windows, etc) estimate. He also gave us the discount for Angie's List members without our even asking. He worked with us to find out what kind of job we wanted, meaning we wanted to make sure the work was done at a very high level with really high end, expensive, long-warranty paint. He worked with us on choosing colors, and made modifications as we looked at how the colors looked in certain places. His workers were always on time, respectful, and careful. Overall, a great experience.

We remodeled a detached garage into an indoor swimming pool and home gym. Danny and his crew did a wonderful job. One especially tricky part was putting several coats of paint on some highly textured plaster panels that had to be done just right. They had never done it before but it turned out perfect.

I found One-Way Paint and Design on Angie's List and called Danny Tron, the owner on Monday (1/10/2011). We arranged an appointment for him to look at the door on Wednesday, and he was able to do the job on the very next day (Thursday). He was very meticulous and careful, did a beautiful job, and cleaned up afterward. The door is made out of metal, and the job was a bit challenging because of out-gassing at the surface, leading to bubbles, but he was persistent and the final product looks great. Because of the Angie's List connection, he charged me $40/hour instead of $45/hour, and I felt that the $120 was a bargain. I will be doing more painting in the future and Danny will be on my short list.

It was very good from the first meeting when he gave me an estimate all the way until they finished the painting. I am very pleased with the paint job itself. They are truly professional. Nothing was broke and they even did a great clean up. They took care of my home. I found them very pleasant, professional, and I would highly recommend them.

The experience was quite positive. Danny showed up for the estimate visit on time, he listened carefully to our concerns about previous paint work that had been done poorly and our desire for high-quality work, and was exceptionally easy to communicate with throughout our entire experience. He sent two different crews to our house - one crew prepped and started the paint job and the second crew finished. The first crew seemed much better than the second crew, but when we pointed out some concerns once the job was finished (some touch-up work was needed and some screws were stripped when the window hardware was re-installed), Danny was extremely professional about handling our concerns. He sent out a painter to do the touch-ups and ensured that we were happy with the outcome. Overall, the paint job was fantastic. We would not hesitate to work with On-Way Paint again.

I picked him because of the quality of reviews on Angie's List. I did not have a single complaint about his work. As soon as I had a question or change on the work, they updated it right away. It was by far the best painting experience I've had in my life and he went above and beyond expectations. The price was reasonable and worth every penny as well. He was quickly and immediately responsive.

I cannot say enough about how great both Dan and his crew are! They showed up on time, every day. They cleaned up after themselves, every day. They did an enormous amount of prep work- sanding, sealing, removing of items to paint them and then replacing them. When they found something wrong, a door that needed replacing, they came to me and let me know my options and then took care of it without gouging me! When I asked for things that hadn't been covered under our previous agreement they took care of them and again did not take advantage on over charging me. I am extremely happy with all their work- both inside and out. Dan has a great crew and I would gladly hire them again in the future. They even put up with my crazy dogs trying to eat them every day! If you have painting that needs to be done, and you want it done right by people who won't take advantage of you, Dan's your man! Corny, I know, but true!

Per the other reviews on this vendor, I called to book an estimate appointment for a 3000 sq ft house in Orange County. The appointment was made. Per Danny, he had a family emergency which required him to be out of the state during the appointment time. I let slide the fact that he never proactively informed me of this - rather I emailed him to follow up on the appointment one day prior, and he let me know only upon me emailing him. I thought perhaps the family emergency caused him to forget the appointment. I was willing to give him another chance and waited a week to reschedule. He confirmed the appointment date, but never showed up nor did he ever email or call to inform me of his cancellation. It was a major inconvenience as we are closing escrow on the house and I had to schedule appointments per the seller's availability. Would NEVER recommend this service to anyone.

I got a few bids from a few several companies (Painting America, etc) and Danny's quote was the best. I met with Danny and after settling with the price, we schedule work to get done. The work that was done was incredible. Everything that was said was completed and the apartment was really clean after the job. I plan on using Danny for additional work in the future.

Danny first came over and looked over the long list of things I wanted done. He was very knowlegable on paint and stopped to really listen to what and how I wanted things done. He then got me an estimate via e-mail within a week. I was very happy with the quote and was impressed with his professionalism. I hired him and we set a date to start which he kept. He and his team provided me with many color samples for stains and gave lots of no pressure input. We ran into a couple of bumps but it was always rectified quickly and professionally. His communication skills were superb.He was on the jobsite everyday reiterating to his team the paint colors and what went where. I will hire Danny for all my painting needs in the future!

The job went quite smoothly and was very painless. Far less of a hassle than I thought it would be. It was an excellent job and the men were great workers.

They were supposed to come out this morning, they called 15 minutes before they were supposed to be at my home and rescheduled for later that afternoon. He would be by at 2pm. I haven't seen him yet. Punctuality is a top priority of mine and I will not look into using him again in the future.
