Mike was very easy to talk to. I told him exactly what I wanted, and he was able to provide the labor at a fair price. I reached out to Universal on a Saturday and I was able to get floors done the following Tuesday. This company is very professional. Mike told me it would take two days to finish my floors and it took exactly two days. They are experienced, and the quality of work was beautiful. I highly recommend.

We were very surprised at how quickly Mike was able to Give us a quote. Mike stayed on top of everything and got the job started in less than a week. Mike and his crew finish the job in one day. It is beautiful work a great value for the money. I talk to to whether contractors one never made it out for a bid the other wasn't very professional and gave me a bid with a lot of junk fees. Mike and his crew were very professional courteous and fast through the entire job. We highly recommend Mike and universal flooring to anyone who needs Flooring work.

Dealing with Mike was so easy, he made things simple and we found his rates and knowledge of flooring surpassed all we had researched prior to Mike. Mike's crew led by Jose were excellent, on time, no nonsense work ethics and checked with me on condition of under flooring every step of the way. It was obvious this team had great knowledge of product and installation. Our job which consisted of demo, haul away, floor installation and clean up was done in one day. I would like to add, this team also helped relocate my heavy furniture when finished with flooring. Mike is a stand up man, professional and helped us pick a floor plan with his knowledge of flooring and after viewing our home. I would have rated this company a 5 star except that Mike, the owner, produced a molding (separator) that did not match any of the colors of the vinyl flooring. He insisted it was good and that was given to him by his supplier. I told him it was an eyesore, but he still instructed his workers to install it. On the day, Mike picked up his final check, he brought another molding that actually matches the flooring, but he wanted me to do the labor of taking the other one-off and installing the new one. When I told him that I paid him to do a professional job, he instead took $25 off the coast of the job, which to me isn't really enough. Also, the workers did not bring the proper equipment, ie jackhammer to remove the tiles. Instead, they used a sledgehammer that projected small pieces against the wall, which caused small nicks on the wall.

In defense of our affordable and your complaint. allow me to clarify what you mentioned in the review 1.Regarding, Not using proper equipment ( Hammer Jack ) to remove the Tile inside the house. I did speak with you about that matter. because if we use Hammer Jack inside the Kitchen area there is big possibility the stone will Jump and make damage to the Glass and Cabinet door also will make a lot of dust inside the House even we cover all the cabinet by plastic . for that reason only we remove 300 SQF Tile by Hand Tile by Tile even thou it tack more time and afford it. Again I did speak with you in the first meeting with you when I came for an estimate? 2.Regarding the molding. That what the supplier has. otherwise, why should I order Lighter Gray color it is One Trash hold for Bathroom even thou it was a Gray color little bit lighter than the plank installed on the floor witch they are Two shade Light and Dark. however, I did go to Four deferent Suppliers and Find one that you say this is ok. saying that we install in your Kitchen closet 50 SQF for free that worth $ 175.00 material only after that area was not included in the agreement. you ask one day before the installation quote ( my wife wants to do the pantry area can you do for the same price ) basically for FREE . just to make you happy I say OK I will do that and I did. Unfortunately, Our specialty is Hard to satisfy everybody. however, I really appreciate your business Enjoy your new Home. Mike"

I was very indecisive about what color and product I wanted. Mike Sarafin was extremely patient and offered an objective opinion only if asked. I never felt pushed one way or the other. The workmanship was immaculate! He was so good, I referred him to my mother and she was extremely pleased with her finished product as well. I will definitely use Universal Floors again and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Mike is very knowledgeable, considerate, and provides great service, and price. The crew were friendly, high skilled, patient on our requests, and stayed on the project to make sure everything was done based on our requests. If the crew were late to arrive in the morning, they made up by staying late to evening to finish the job. They provided good advice on how to take care of our new flooring.
