I hired Jason with West Coast garage door for garage door repairs, as ours was suddenly inoperative, He scheduled me in quickly, arrived on time as scheduled, and did door spring replacement. My garage door is now operating smoothly, as designed. I never did verify what I would be charged with a written estimate. My husband saw the bill and he thought it was high compared to another company we called for a ballpark estimate. We contacted Jason, and he explained that us that these were new springs, not used. He also replaced other old hardware with new hardware, performed adjustments, lubrication with some additional preventative maintenance. We felt comfortable with that explanation. We really should have got a written estimate and an explanation of the costs involved prior to the work, and we will do that next time.

Jason is the owner of the company and was outstanding in customer service and explaining the operation & service repairs necessary. He called directly to the Genie company for information on the wiring and updating of the sensor systems. I had a problem with the sensor, spring replacement necessary, replacement of the worn down rollers in the tracks, & cable replacement. The system is 17.5 yrs old. It is now working well and much quieter with using the original motor. We had installed a Clopay door previously which was heavier than the original. He was able to maintain the integrity of the door. This was all done to maintain the entire system without any damage occurring due to broken springs or cables. Replacing and repairing can be more difficult than starting "fresh". Jason was able to do that in a short period of time. Complete job was finished in about 3 hours. He also serviced the remote hand held units & out-door touch unit. All remotes can operate the system in addition to the car's program. His final price was fair for all new parts & installation --- $580.00. A corporate company would have charged quite a bit more. Definitely I would hire him and his company again and give him the highest recommendations in every area of his work and assistance.
