Description of Work: Great job painted bathroom and one bedroom baseboard were damage and the cut new ones fit was perfect. I had 3 different paints in each room and ceiling, trim and walls. The painting was perfect. They worked with my schedule came on time and finished when they said they would. I am putting in a new vanity in the bathroom I asked if they could remove the old vanity and paint the wall since the new vanity is 4" smaller They remove the vanity and it was discovered that a section of dry wall was missing. They repaired the wall also perfectly done.

Description of Work: Brooks is a local painting contractor. Thorough. Clean. Superb quality. Not cheap, but consistently reliable results. Excellent crews.

Description of Work: We complained to Brooks about the surprisingly short--less than a year--endurance of the paint job Brooks did on our deck in October 2015. On about 30% of the deck, the redwood paint had worn away so that substantial portions were paintless, and the grey wood showed through. After several attempts to ask for a visit to our property over about two months, a Brooks rep finally came out, looked at the damage, and agreed that the work needed to be redone. This all happened several months ago now. We have heard nothing since, and my wife and I have given up on Brooks. We will either do the work ourselves, or seek another contractor. We are deeply disappointed in Brooks Painting.

Description of Work: They were very responsive and did a great job. However, the price was significantly more than the original bid because it required two coats of paint. This was after I paid for the top quality paint because it was supposed to cover in one coat. I called them again last year for a bid for the exterior of the house because they did a good job. However, I did not use them because their bid came in about 25% more than two others I got.

Description of Work: Brooks did a great job from the initial consultation visit through final clean-up of the job. The job consultant did a great job assisting me with color selection, while not being too pushy. I had to plan the work around siding repair work being done by another company and everything went smoothly.

Description of Work: Initially, Brooks Painting's professionalism seemed far above others. The first attempt at painting the house exterior though left a finish lacking in uniformity(a contractual requirement). From then on they would only converse via email. It also took me going to the office after 13 days of NO RESPONSE to get some communication rolling again. From there it again went to 23 days of NO COMMUNICATION from Brooks Painting before we finally got a repaint date set and eventually my house repainted. In the end, the house looks good, but it was hands down my worst experience with a contractor (the actual owner).

Description of Work: I called them on 2 different days and never did get a call back. I would not try again because of this. I reached another painter on Angie's List and she got my business! She'll be here tomorrow and I'll submit a report afterward.

Description of Work: Brooks has a great service, painter for a day! Brooks has painted our exterior last year, our entire interior over the last year as I called them to paint another room. Brooks Painting is top notch and I tell everyone about them and their great customer service. Jeremy, the owner is great and he picked all of the colors for me, I trust him that much and it was a nice surprise when I arrived home! Brooks Painting has painted many homes in my neighborhood and you can tell their work over the local guy who knocks on your door offering to paint for a fraction of the price. They also stand by their warranty and if you ever need anything, they are quick to come back, is the guy who wants to paint for a fraction going to be there if there are any issues? They take the extra effort in caulking to replacing the boards if necessary. They make sure you are 100% satisfied.
