We have got 3 of them close to our house. It's hard to get help inside. There are not too many workers. Whenever you go like to the painting department, the guy is not there so somebody has to come and help you. I think the price is reasonable. They are a little slow because they have very few people working in the store. They should get more workers. They've got some good paint.
Description of Work: We went to Home Depot for painting supplies.

The in store cashiers and the experts that are working in the aisles are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They helped me locate peg board. It was up on a pallet and he had to use a machine to get it, He was very knowledgeable in how the machine worked and did a great job cutting it to the correct width and height. Every time I go in there they are always very helpful.
Description of Work: I went in to buy some things and return some things.

They were horrible; absolutely, completely, totally horrible. It was a three party deal, where I purchased the Tuff Shed through Home Depot. Tuff Shed built it and then, Tuff Shed contracted somebody else to install it. Tim from Tuff Shed came out and did the measurements and stuff. I realized, after sharing them with my manager at the complex that I live in, that the shed could not be as long as I had made the plans for it to be. So, I called Tim from Tuff Shed back and I said the shed needs to be a different dimension. He told me to call Home Depot and give them the updated information and they would communicate with Tuff Shed. So, I did. I verified, "Do you understand that it needs to be 7x10, 10 feet high?" Amy, the person who took the information said, yes, she did. I asked her to call me back and let me know once she talked to Tuff Shed to verify that everything was on target. She didn't call me back. I called her back. I got somebody else. That person said she would take the information and I verified again, 7x10, 10 feet high. She said she would call me back. I said, "Are you sure because the person who took the information before didn't and said she would." She said, "Yes. I will call you back." She did. She called me back. She was one of the few people that was very helpful from Home Depot in this process that she actually called me back like she said she would. Again, it was verified 7x10, 10 feet tall. It couldn't be more than 10 feet. But I wanted it more than eight, something that it was supposed to be originally. When the shed arrived, it wasn't 10 feet tall. We figured that out when the contractors were there installing it. I got on the phone to Home Depot. Amy was in, but would not take my call. She would not call me back. Meanwhile, I had the contractors that were there to install the shed, waiting around for that few hours while we were all on the phone to various people - their employer Tuff Shed itself and Home Depot. Tuff Shed ended up offering me $250 to keep the shed that was there. I was having a loft. Because it was shorter, that made my loft space much smaller. It just was a fiasco. I was so upset and angry. I went ahead and told them to go ahead and finish it because Tuff Shed said that a reinstall was going to be $500 because they would have to tear it down and reinstall it. I didn't know if Home Depot was going to honor their mistake because they wouldn't talk to me. Now, I know I should have called and talked to the manager that day. I didn't know what to do. But, I know that now. I don't know that I would have gotten anywhere. So, I waited a week because I was so angry. I didn't want to be inappropriate. I went in and I talked to Amy. I saw her in person. She said, "No problem. I'll get all this dealt with and I'll call you back by 1:00." I said, "I'm not thinking that's really realistic. How about by five?" I said,"When do you leave today?" She said, "Five" I said, "Okay. How about with the plan that you will call me back by five?" "I will call you back by five." I actually happened to be at Home Depot just a few minutes before. So, I waited until five. Still no phone call. Then I asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to an Assistant Manager. He was helpful. He said he would help deal with it. He did, sort of. Still no results over the weekend. This thing took like three weeks to work out. Home Depot would not own their mistake, even though I had pictures of their computer screen showing the dimensions in their screen. It was crazy. Finally, I did talk to the big manager, the main manager at that particular location. I asked him, "Are you going to own your mistake and remedy this?" Are you going to get a new shed built?" He said, "Well, what makes you think we're not taking ownership and we're not?" I said, "Well, Tuff Shed. Because when I talk to Tuff Shed, they say that you're trying to make them pay for it and it's not their mistake. It's yours." He said, "Oh no. We're taking care of it. We've even sent you a check for $250 for your troubles." I said, "My understanding is that $250 was when I was going to keep the shed that you messed up on." "Oh no no no. This is for your troubles." It wasn't owned until I actually talked to the main manager. I need to get my stuff out of my driveway which is under tarp because I live in a complex that has rules around that kind of a thing and I needed to get it scheduled faster. Home Depot lagged to get the approval over to Tuff Shed so that they could actually put in the order for the shed. Meanwhile, my stuff still sits in my driveway. Tuff Shed did come out and tear down the original shed Monday and due to the rains, they've had to put it off. It's supposed to be built tomorrow. But I don't know. I got a call from Tuff Shed just a few minutes ago and so, I need to call them back. We've had a few other situations with Home Depot where they came out and took measurements for something and then those measurements got lost in their system and they had to redo them. There were two other people that were supposed to contact us for doing other measurements. These were things like for floors, tiles, counters, windows and all that kind of stuff and they never called us to set up the appointments, which is what they were supposed to do. I went in and asked for my money back. I will not use Home Depot to schedule any home services.
Description of Work: I purchased a Tuff Shed and got it installed.
