Dave the contractor is easy to deal with and is a very good competitor by having EXTREMELY GOOD PRICING and he had very good installers. The only negatives with Dave is is ability to return phone calls (He always had an excuse ie; traffic accident, too busy etc.) and to make sure materials were delivered to the site when needed. In doing so the installation was held up. HUGO, his helper, and son VICTOR, are top notch. They know what they're doing and go overboard to complete the job to your satisfaction. They're only negative was not starting early enough each day and took a two day job into five by going into the week end, though they came from LA to North San Diego County to do our installation and didn't have the needed materials to complete the job. We had a vinyl "wood like "plank tile installed through out our mobile home and by looking at it you cannot tell it is not wood. We're very happy with the whole job. I would have given Dave 5 stars if he would have followed through better. I WILL ADMIT I AM A "STICKLER" for demanding a phone call if your going to be late, you say your going to return a call, you don't show up when you say you will, and when you do you have some LAME excuse, etc. etc.

The owner is willing to negotiate prices. My neighbor will hire them for the same project.

Dave made sure that we were happy with the final product. The crew was very nice and went above and beyond in their work. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because they had to come back a few times to correct detail work. However, Dave was attentive to the problem and made sure that the crew returned and finished the job right. In the end, we were very happy with the final product and really appreciated the crew's helpfulness and great attitudes.

Dave Laguna, owner and estimator , was prompt with appointment and stands on everything he promises. The crew were well mannered and polite. The also cleaned up after themselves. Again Dave made sure we were taken care of and that's a great plus these days ! We now have a beautiful vinyl plank floor in the kitchen dinning and laundry room.

Dave, the estimator, was quite proficient and very professional. The installers were great! I would use them again with no reservations.

Dave went out of his way to try to get the luxury vinyl tiles installed just as quickly as possible. However, the two guys that he sent to do the work did not seem to know the first thing about installing the material that we had purchased. I had watched a video explaining how simple the project was, if the instructions were followed. These two guys ignored the basic principles for installing tile. They did not bother with plumb lines, nor did they begin the installation at the wall, as the instructions stated, so the tile was not installed properly. They hammered the tile from the top, rather from the sides. I truly think that they were not at all familiar with the floating tile floor that we had purchased and they were insulted when I asked them if they wanted to watch the video explaining how to install it. It was a very uncomfortable experience that I hope not to have to go through again.

Dave was great very easy to work with. Very reasonably priced and came multiple times to show us other options. He was very patient. His crew came on-time and did quality work. I would use them again without a doubt. We had laminate floors installed.

We are very pleased with all aspects of Standard Carpet & Flooring and Dave Laguna. We needed laminate flooring for most of our house to replace old carpet. Dave came to our home, showed us samples, measured the house and gave us a quote the same day. His quote was considerably less than competitors and covered the whole job including removal of old flooring, moving furniture, installation and all materials. We really like the laminate we chose. Jeremy was our installer and we can't say enough about his hard work and attention to detail. He was always pleasant and willing to answer our questions. His helper Luis was also very willing to help. They even put in an extra long day to complete the job on time. All in all, we couldn't be happier with the entire process and the end result. Had our laminate done in June of 2016. They held to timeframe quoted, had great service, and were very clean and professional. Their cost beat the competition, and their work was phenomenal. I would highly recommend using this company!

The workmen were hardworking and paid attention to detail. The work, projected to take one day, took one day. They stayed until it was finished. I would recommend this company to friends and I would use them again.

The owner contacted me immediately after my request for a bid on laminate flooring through Home Advisor. We made an appointment for 1 day later and my flooring was installed within 5 days! There was absolutely no pressure during the estimate! The best part is the quality of service. My floor looks amazing and it didn't break my budget. After watching all those home improvement shows, I thought the flooring would be really pricey. Not all all! An excellent price for high quality materials. I would definitely use them again!

The work is scheduled but not yet started as I do not own the property yet. I was impressed with Dave's professionalism and quick call back after my quote request. He came out next day and took measurements and brought samples. He didn't push or break out the salesman routine. He just did his thing and let me take my time. He was in and out quickly and had a ballpark figure on the spot. He even called to say he would be 11 minutes late. Very important to me as my time is valuable as a working professional. Dave continued to respond to my many inquiries and even wrote and re-wrote a proposal in writing as requested. I am very particular and want everything in writing and precisely detailed. He replied promptly and patiently with every request. I can tell he is eager for the business but not pushy and he understands what customer service and professionalism is. I will update after the work is done. Update: The work was preformed on time as scheduled. The flooring looks beautiful. There were no hangs up or hassles. The guys that did the floor were respectful and cleaned up after them selves. GREAT JOB. Highly Reccommend Dave and his company.
