Victor was punctual and did a great job of explaining things. He is a good problem solver and is easy to work with.

Perfect. The job took Victor much longer than expected, and frankly I thought he undercharged for the time spent in transit to Home Depot and in purchasing the door, plus the tricky trimming required to install it in our non-standard size door frame.

Did a good job, at a reasonable cost (as I remember), and pleasant to deal with.

Extremely pleased with the service. Victor arrived on time, went to work first assessing the work environment and placement of new fixture. He paid attention to detail throughout the job and gave explanation of what he would do next. He was methodical and logical in his approach. He cleaned up the work areas extremely well. Look forward to having him in my home for additional work.

They are doing really good. I like that they are pretty neat doing the project. They are pretty professional. I think their price is fair. It’s a little bit pricy but it’s acceptable. They gave me a 10% or 15% discount. Their quality is good. They are pretty clean.

It went just fine. They did the work that we asked them to do and did it well for the price that they gave. They were also on time and their price was cheap. We would absolutely use them again if we need to.

Everything went well, and we are quite happy with the work. Victor completed the job ahead of schedule, arrived on time, and acted professionally while he was at the house. We have no complaints about his services.

VICTOR MET THE AGREED-UPON PRICE AND DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB.'WHEN I CHECKED THE FENCE AFTER RETURNING FROM WORK, I NOTICED HE HAD USED BRICKS FROM MY NEIGHBORS' YARD IO FULL THE GAP BETWEEN THE FENCE AND THE YARD. I HOPED HE HAD ASKED THE NEIGHBOR, WHO HE HAD MET.WHEN VICTOR STOPPED BY FOR HIS CHECK I ASKED AND HE SAID THE BRICKS WERE JUST WASTE MATERIAL.HE THOUGHT THE NEIGHBOR WOULDN'T MIND. I FOUND THIS DISAPPOININTING AND THE NEIGHBOR DID MIND. ON THE PLUS SIDE, VICTOR HAS DONE SEVERAL OTHER JOBS WELL FOR ME WITH NO ISSUES ( AND MY DOG HASN'T GOT OUT SINCE).EVERYTHING ELSE(PRICE, TIME, MATERIALS) WAS AS AGREED UPON.

Victor was punctual for the first time to give us an estimate of the job. He was also punctual the day he worked on the project. In the beginning, we were a little worried for he spend at least 2 hrs assessing the job and running out to purchase the necessary hardware. But everything fell into place without any hiccups. He was very patient as my husband kept watching and learning at the same time. Victor is courteous, professional and clean. Will use him again.

After we had called Victor, we sent him our task list via e-mail. He came to determine the requirements in terms of time and materials and 2 days later he provided us an estimate. About a week later he came and worked 4 days straight, and very methodically and competently completed one task after another. On the last day he even had his wife helping him for a few hours, so he could complete the work on time. What we particularly appreciated was the fact that he preferred to repair things rather than replace them. He was able to fix a hall closet door which another handyman had told us could not be fixed. In the end Victor charged us very close the amount of his estimate although he spent more time than anticipated. We could not be more satisfied with his work or happier with his price.

Overall the service and the job was done well. I had a coupon, that he did not accept all of the amount, but agreed to do an additional job (replace outlets - different color). Discouraged the use of a credit card, although the profile said he would take it.

He build a strong and beautiful platform. He used screws instead of nails. One can stand and jump on it, it is so strong. He believes in quality therefore I would gladly hire him again and probably will.

I contacted this business and spoke to a woman named Elena. She took down my information and inquired about the type of work I needed to get done. SHe provided information on pricing and assured me Victor would return my call that evening or the following day. Needless to say, I never heard back. It disappointed me that a business that received such high ratings on Angie's List has turned out to be flakey. After this experience I am very skeptical of Angie's List business.

Victor came to give me an estimate for finishing my two car garage, but never got back to me. After two weeks, I called his number and spoke to another guy who told me they would charge $5,000 for the job. I asked him to send me a written estimate, but he never did. It was a waste of time.

He took extra care with the removal as well as the installation. It was a work of all.

Looking to have my gutters cleaned I called Victor after reading several good reviews. Was contacted by a Michael about four days after initial call to schedule gutter cleaning and discuss a few other projects I wanted estimates on. After needing to reschedule once, work was able to begin. Victor was a few minutes early (8:58 am) on day one 8/23 but did not have a ladder tall enough to easily reach the roof so I showed him a few other projects I wanted done and we decided he would work on rebuilding my 3'x3' back porch. Victor asked what type of materials I wanted and I let him know it should be something low maintenance and he suggested pressure treated wood because it wouldn't need to be sealed then quoted the labor would take about 4 hours and that the total for labor and materials would cost about $350 ($200 labor). Victor tore down the old porch in half an hour then proceeded to Home Depot. Two hours later he returned and began to rebuild the back porch. At 6pm we realized he was a few rails short of a finished deck so we decided he would return the following morning to complete the the porch and clean the gutters. The next day he arrived on time, but without a taller ladder. He completed the porch and wanted to get started on a few of my other projects, but I only had gutter cleaning in my budget. He stated he would be busy the rest of the week but would be available early the next week and would bring the ladder then, plus tackle a few of my other projects. I asked him for the receipts and he said he would make copies then mail them back to me as well as email my invoice, but that I should call to remind him and schedule my next appointment soon. He left without cleaning up any of the saw dust, or wood scraps. But because he was returning in a few days I didn't sweat it immediately. I called two hours after Victor left reminding him about the receipts, asking for him about his upcoming availability, letting him know the wood manufacturer (via website) suggested applying water repellant to the wood so we would need to do that the following meeting, and reminding him that wood and saw dust would need to be picked up. I have not heard from him since. Two weeks later I received an email with the price I paid, but no copies of my receipts, in addition I've now got pressure treated wood debris all over my yard. I have attempted making an appointment with him three times over the phone (voicemail) and twice by email. Four days ago after drafting this review I even held off posting it and called, so that he would have every opportunity to finish what he started. Michael answered but said he would call me back, because he was driving at the time. Nothing. I've now got 1. an unsealed deck 2.a stack of old painted lumber from the last deck 3. saw dust, and wood shavings everywhere 4. A sour taste in my mouth. Sadly I would not recommend Victor's Handyman Service, while the deck is now functioning the yard is now a mess. And i'm still in need of a reliable handyman for all my other projects.

We called Victor (on a Saturday) at his number but he did not answer so we called the second number where Mike answered and scheduled the appt. for the installation on Monday. On the day of the appt. Victor called and explained that he could not make the established time and told us what time he could be here. He asked if that would work for us. We said yes...Victor was at our home at that time. Victor was meticulous in installing the faucet. It was not an ordinary install. The faucet was new with updated fittings. My home is 40 years old with same age plumbing. He made it work and double checked everything involved to make certain it all worked perfectly. The pricing structure was quoted on the phone when the appt. was scheduled. The pricing is straight forward and fair and that was what Victor charged us.. We found Victor to be knowledgeable, efficient, conscientious and an all around nice person. I called this company to have a new mirrored closet door installed. It took about 1 week for him to call back. After he left a message it took several phone messages back and forth before we finally talked on the phone. We agreed to the price and the service he was to perform. We set a date for him to come out to install the closet. The only thing left undecided was whether or not he would buy the new closet door or would I measure and buy something ready for him to install. We agreed I would call back within a couple of days. I measured, I bought the new closet door and had it ready for Victor (Michael -- not sure who owns the company or who does the work) to pick up. I called within the two day period as he recommended. Unforutnately when I called him back he "forgot" that we scheduled the installation for the agreed upon date and made alternative plans. I believe this is unprofessional and I will not call him to reschedule. This is no way to run a business. I am busy too and I made arrangements to make sure someone would be at home and I took the time to buy the new closet doors to be ready for him to pick up.

He explained everything and left the house spotless.

He caulked the kitchen counter and repaired an non ringing door bell on the first visit. He returned to repair a bedroom ceiling and then finished it the 2nd day, the color and finish matched perfect.

I was so pleased with Victor's services. He is punctual, polite and extremely efficient. He is far and away, the best handyman I've come across. He arrived right on time. I showed him my 2 projects (shower tiles need to be re-caulked and a gate that needed repair.) He gave me a time and price estimate, and then got right to work. He was very thorough and efficient. He actually finished more quickly than he had estimated, so he was able to do some additional work. I am very pleased with Victor's work and will definitely be calling on him again.

victor arrived on time. the work he did was varied and he took care of each task with skill and a smile. he's a hard worker and i will be calling on him again as well as recommending him to friends and neighbors. besides being an excellent worker, victor is a friendly guy who laughs easily. it's important to me that the folks who work in our home be friendly as well as skilled in their profession and Angie's list has provided us with great people to hire for our home's needs. thank you to victor and Angie's list.
