I had this company do my front yard landscape
last year. This included planting a Red
Japanese Maple Tree. I asked the
landscaper if this was a proper tree to plant in my Zone area which is Zone
4. He said it would be fine. About a month later the tree looked shriveled
and the leaves brown and dead. I called
and asked him to come by and look at it to make sure it would survive. Then the next day actual red leaves were
starting to show and I canceled the call. This was during summertime. The next day
in the heat, the leaves shriveled again and I called back and asked for
him to inspect it. I never received a
call back assuming he got sick of hearing from me. A year later (now) the tree has not grown
much and the leaves have never come back.
I called him today and he still has not returned my call. I don't expect
he will. I also looked on the internet
and called a different landscaper. Both
convey the same message that this tree should have never been planted in Zone 4
in direct sun. Now I am out the money I
spent on this and have to plant a new tree in it's place. THE COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR
WORK. ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS COME BY AND
LOOK AT IT AND REPLACE IT IF NEED BE.
LOUSY SERVICE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. He even refuses to discuss the matter with me.
asked for reimbursement and told him the
amount that the other gardener charged me and he refused
He said no way to the amount. Stated I only left one call to him. Also stated was
on vacation. Stated I picked the tree. I
told him he should have known better
that to plant it in full sun. He is the so -called professional. Yelled at me
some more. So - I guess this will not be resolved.

Was contacted by ProCare Landscape personally. He was beligerent and said he
only had one voice mail from me. I have
left numerous messages over the past year and never heard back from him. He was very angry and would not calmly talk
about this. He did ask me what I wanted
him to do and I told him I wanted to be compensated for the tree. I told
him the amount I was looking for and he blew up and would not talk about
it. I finally asked him to leave. If he even offered half I would have accepted
it. I was not about to be yelled at on
my own property. He had no business coming
to me personally anyway. He needs to
answer the BBB. I will have the police here if he comes back. I will most likely be filing with Small
Claims real soon if this is not resolved in a friendly manner.
Very unprofessional.

1) On the first job, Procare was able to troubleshoot our sprinkler system to get the control box working again. They replaced numerous broken sprinkler heads, having to dig down on some to replace broken piping underneath. The box was programmed appropriately for us so the system was running daily to water our lawn. They were willing to use some supplies we had on hand which helped our costs. The work took several hours and was completed timely. From first inquiry to job completion was 3 days. The quality of the work was great. Total cost was $120.
2) We had Mark come back to work on our back yard. Previous owners of the home had allowed the grass to die, so the job entailed pulling up the old sod using a sod puller (and its disposal), soil prep, bringing and laying new sod. Mark also replaced some sprinkler heads and programmed our system to water appropriately for new sod. The sod was good quality, a fescue mix. We now have a great lawn in our backyard! From inquiry to completion was about one week. Cost was $600.
3) Finally, we hired Procare to be our weekly lawn maintenance service. For full service it was $50/mo. and including backyard $70. They arrive the same time every week. They do nice mowing and edging, keeping the lawn a little longer length which we prefer and is better for the lawn is hotter weather. They have advised us on our watering schedule in this recent very hot weather (in July) and are doing a great job at keeping grass clippings out of our swimming pool!
Overall, Procare, and owner Mark Treadway, have been punctual on arrival times and returning calls. Their prices are affordable for us and very reasonable for the work done. Mark and his employees are courteous, knowledgeable and do very quality work. We would certainly hire Procare again in the future.

IT IS A GOOD PRICE AND VALUE, EXCEPT THEY DON'T WEED. I WOULD LIKE THEM TO WEED. THEY DIDN'T CALL ME BACK WITH QUOTES FOR ACTUAL PRICES. THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP LAST WEEK. I WISH THEY WOULD'VE CALLED.
