"Dear Mr [Member Name Removed], As you know we have only been to your property one time back on September 6th. We just did a minor service and reset the blown motor overload. For a standard service call like that, we offer a 30-day warranty. When you contacted us it was almost 60 days. I can definitely understand your frustration having something go down right after a warranty period has expired. If you give us a call we can set something up to swing by when we are in your neighborhood and make a minor adjustment for you."
They have good customer service. The last time they had to come out a couple of times to get it fixed because it was not fixed the first time, but that was okay because the people they sent out were very nice so I would hire them again. I know their rates recently went up so they are more expensive than usual. I know I wasn't too thrilled about their prices going up. Regarding their punctuality, I think they give you a range of time. One guy comes out each time so we saw two different guys because one other guy had to come out and do something else. The actual work took less than an hour each time. The best aspect of their work is that my gate now works.
"I am sorry that you were unhappy with your repair. The technician was very experianced and was able to troubleshoot and repair all of the corroded and broken wires to get your system working again. You were with him the entire time and he asked you several times if you wanted him to keep going as more issues were uncovered and you said yes. Once all of the wires were repaired and could be tested he suggested a new speaker and microphone, you had said that you were experianced in elictronics and would change them yourself. We spoke to you on the phone several times and explained that you had an old system that was customised outside of facory specs and if you wanted to replace those parts yourself you would have to source them out through an electronics supplier. We did not stock anything like that."
The replacement went smoothly and my switch was fixed up in about 15 minutes. I am really glad I found this company as I now have a service provider that I feel I can trust and rely upon to:
1. Not try to sell me something I don't need
2. Charge a fair price for the necessary work
3. Provide me with additional information about my gate, possible upgrades and potential solutions to future problems.
