This is my go to company now for all things gates.

The garage door is only 3 years old and we had problems to close it for the last 2 weeks. My husband tried to fix it during the weekend and it was “mission impossible”. The technician from The Gate keeper arrived in the scheduled window frame. He was professional, personable and friendly. He explained to me what was wrong and what he did. In less than 25 minutes the garage door was properly working. I am planning to continue using this company on regular basis. Simply an excellent experience!!

Sergio was prompt, friendly and very responsive. He solved the issue quickly and then spent some additional time making sure the gate motor was in good shape. Very professional and genuine.

Our automatic garage door wasn’t working at all, using remotes or the wall panel. After I called to schedule an appointment, I received an automatic text from The Gatekeeper the day before our appointment with the estimated arrival time and a text the day of when Al, the technician, was en route. This type of communication was really helpful and helped us plan ahead. The Gatekeeper arrived, identified the problem, installed a new wall panel and re-activated the remotes all within 15 minutes!! After the service I got a text requesting feedback, which I could text directly to the company or post on a number of review sites like Angie’s List. Excellent job and highly recommended.

I hate dealing with garage door problems! Benji from The GateKeeper was able to fix the cable that jumped the spool and tuned up our other doors. Great guy and great company. Very much appreciate the help!

Excellent. I called first for a free estimate, Someone came the next day and took photos. Next day, received a written estimate, much lower than the overpriced misguided 'other vendor.' Approved quote online and the next day, bright and early, the repairs were done. Benji replaced my bent, rusted, and weld challenged tail piece on my electric gate. It now looks better than new.

Please hire the professionals at The Gatekeeper for all of your garage door and gate needs! These folks are terrific! Professional, on-time, courteous and priced right. My technician, Benji was awesome! Not only did he service the garage door opener, but took the time to properly adjust the garage door so that it opened and closed properly, smoothly, with less drag - making the door opener work less and last longer. He was one of the most professional technicians that I've dealt with in some time. And, if that's not enough, he's a very nice gentleman. The owners of this business know how to take care of their customers by providing excellent quality service at a great price served-up by professional, friendly technicians.

At the first visit, the technician couldn't get the cover off of the motor box, as ours had an odd configuration. I set up a follow up appointment after figuring out how to get cover off, and the technician promptly fixed the problem. A day later, the gate started acting up again, and they agreed to send the technician out again. However, the problems went away so another trip was not necessary. The technician was timely, polite, and very knowledgeable. Would hire again.

When I called in for service and the serviceman did not explain to me that they charge by the hour. They work and charge like lawyers. I knew that they charge minimum $125 just to come for an estimate. I thought that the serviceman will check and give me an estimate like I had worked with other gate repair companies in the past. The guy worked at a snail's pace. He walked back and forth about 100 times very very slowly between the gate and inside my house where the switch board is located. The service man called to say he was on his way. I noticed that his cell phone was a restricted number which I thought was odd. Now I know why he has a restricted number. He must have gotten too many complaints on his cell phone. It took 4.5 hours and $625 just to get the key pad and the call button to work. The microphone, speaker and the codes were not done. I told him to stop working as I had enough. There is no way to tell if another serviceman who is more knowledgeable and experienced (or honest for that matter) could have done the job in less time. They have a very nice gig (or scam) going. As for the mic and the speaker, the serviceman said he had the mic in his truck and will have to order the speaker. He also said I can buy these myself at an electronic store and told me where to go and what to buy if I wanted to install them myself. I asked for his phone number but he would not give it to me. He said to call the office and he will call me back. But, the store he recommended was permanently closed and I could not find the mic and the speaker in any of the local electronic stores or in the internet. . I called the office and asked to speak with the serviceman. They said I cannot speak with him but I need to speak with the service manager. When they put me through, he did not answer and I left a voicemail. He did not return my call. I called the next day and verified he was in the office. They put me through to him but he did not answer my call again. I left a message again and waited an hour. I called back and this time a lady came on and said they don't have the microphone and they don't know where to order the speaker. The service manager was in a hurry to leave and will call me back next day. It has been 3 days and he still has not called. I guess they are only interest in billing for work and not getting things fixed for the customer. You are at their mercy on what they will charge you. Since the serviceman seems to get paid by the billing (like lawyers) the serviceman will try to bill as much as possible. I will never use this company again.

The Gatekeepr has been providing service for me for the last 20+ years. I started using them when I was president of the HOA at the 40 unit condo complex where we lived. For the last 15 years we've owned our own home and I continue to call upon them. Our driveway gate is somewhat old and will be replaced at some point but they keep servicing it and keep it functioning therefore saving us quite a bit of money. And when the time comes, there's no doubt who will do the work. All services performed were done professionally, on time and on budget. Every individual service provider who I've dealt with over the years has been great to work with. Obviuosly, I can't recommend the highly enough...

On time and managed the work efficiently.

Everything went superbly. The gentleman was very professional and fixed everythign we needed including one other gate that was sticking.

Arrived on time, installation went smoothly, technician very helpful in set up of smart phone app. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them. Received a 10% discount for Angie's List use. 

John at The Gatekeeper came out and looked at the switch that was not working properly and determined that a simple replacement of the hose and switch would fix the problem.  We scheduled the repair for the following week.  The company emailed me with a time window that they would arrive and then I was called when they were on their way.
 
The replacement went smoothly and my switch was fixed up in about 15 minutes.  I am really glad I found this company as I now have a service provider that I feel I can trust and rely upon to:
 
1. Not try to sell me something I don't need
2. Charge a fair price for the necessary work
3. Provide me with additional information about my gate, possible upgrades and potential solutions to future problems.
