Bay Area Window Pros

I did tons of research on windows and installers, for months. I finally settled on BAWP because they carried all the brands I was interested in, they worked with financing that I was interested in (even though I ended up not using it) and their salesman (Bill Walshe) was very knowledgable and courteous. Everyone in their organization that I worked with, from sales to install to post-install, were very professional, courteous and competent. This sets them apart for me from all the companies I approached. BAWP helped me decide on a brand and window style, then ordered by windows for me...I started too late in the season and so it took 6 weeks to get my windows, at the height of the summer. But when they arrived, the installation was smooth, taking about 1.5 days to install 15 windows. The installers pointed out a scratch to me, from the factory, on one window. It was tiny and near the bottom, where I never would have noticed, but BAWP were able to get Milgard service arranged to come out and touch up the spot. Millard left me a matching paint pen for any future touch ups, too. So often the reviews you read are about the happy homeowner the day after install...to me, the proof is when you need service, how do they handle it? BAWP came through with fixing another hitch, post-install, besides this scratch, and that's how I know they are the highest quality for service. Their quote was solid (no fine print or changes) and in the middle of the range of quotes I got, for the same window: not the highest, not the lowest. I went with them because of the competence factor, which is priceless. I highly recommend them to anyone reading this. I have done a lot of remodeling in my days, and these are top notch folks with the right work ethic. I have recommended them to friends already.

The windows were very expensive. Double-paneing windows is very expensive. They did a great job. The price was a sticker shock but it was what it cost. We have used them twice.
