CMT Window Cleaning

Description of Work: They started off well and cleaned all windows, inside and outside. |However, after they left, I noticed that there were multiple long irreparable scratches on my large kitchen window that looks outside. I do not know if this happened to all windows, but it is a serious issue and caused me to lower their rating significantly because of the damage. I sent an email about this problem to their online feedback/rating, but received no response. I am very disappointed, especially because Angie's List recommended them.

Description of Work: The quality of the work was very good with some exceptions: small pieces of dried mat'l, one window bottom exterior not cleaned, another with areas of dried spots and 2 damaged screen frames. I spoke to the crew member who gave me the bill (I had add'l windows beyond the deal cleaned) to say there were water spots on some windows and was told they would dry clear. That was mostly true except for pieces of dried white material on the interior of a few windows. However, in different light at different times of day, discovered a large window had water spots in 3 areas and I later discovered the frame of a fairly new screen bent so that it no longer meets the bottom of the window and another screen frame broken at the corner. In fairness, I have not yet reported this to CMT, partly because of my prior experience with Candee. When I made the appt, she was booked out for a couple of weeks on days I was available. I was offered a Fri afternoon appt betw 12:30 & 2:30 arrival. I told her I couldn't be home until 1 or 1:15. She said that was no problem. Apparently she never noted this and left 2 msgs around 11:30 saying the crew was on its way and would be there in 15 mins and then the crew was there but couldn't begin without direction from me, as though I hadn't held up my end of the bargain. I had rec'd a confirmation of the original time frame via email 2 days earlier. Given the 2-hr window for arrival, I certainly wasn't expecting them to arrive before 12:30 (or even 1pm, per my previous advice to Candee). When I called while driving home after accessing my voice mail, the conversation wasn't pleasant. I did give her instructions on which windows I wanted cleaned. However, if I had been advised of the possibility of early arrival, I could have left instructions and not been upset. For the most part, the windows gleam. I did learn that cleaning the tracks means wiping with a damp cloth, not vacuuming. I vacuumed them all beforehand. Even so, I could have just used a damp cloth myself and done a more thorough job, so it's not much of a value. I would advise customers to do a walk-through before the crew leaves to check that all windows have been properly cleaned and no damage was done. I was advised of a torn screen, which I was aware of, on a 2nd floor window. I noticed another window cleaning company said removal of hard water spots was extra. However, I was not told that the large window with 3 areas of water spots couldn't be cleaned and I couldn't see it until I observed the window in morning light. Same with the exterior window bottom that wasn't cleaned. The next time I have my windows cleaned (this was my 1st experience), I will use another company for comparison. As I said, most windows gleamed, but there were other issues.

Description of Work: very efficient, did a good on the windows, some screens were put back in broken, but they were 10 years old and brittle, although my regular window washer never broke them.

Description of Work: They were hired to clean all of the windows (inside and out) in my single family home. When they were ready to leave I noticed that they missed the windows of the front bedroom. They also missed cleaning the tracks on the sliding doors. I payed extra for cleaning of the screens and was disappointed as they simply wiped them with a cloth, didn't really get them clean.

Left water running in one hose flooding neighbors driveway. Window sills left dirty. |Called and they returned with different crew and finished the job. Attitude was very poor about correcting the poor job.
