I signed up for the bimonthly service plan about a year ago, as we were having trouble with rats in the attic. Initially, they sprayed the yard & the interior of the house. They placed sticky traps in the attic and 2 bait stations (for an additional fee). They said the bait boxes would be serviced along with the rest of the house bimonthly. At the next scheduled service, we had to prod them to check the attic traps and replenish the bait station, as they were about to leave without doing it. They said they had no record of anything in the attic, which should have been in their notes from last time, especially since there were additional fees involved. They also requested to use our ladder -- seemed weird that they wouldn't have one? Scheduling the service has been a nightmare, as we have to be home for it. There is no advance notice beyond a voicemail the night before stating what time they will be there. We had to scramble every time on short notice to rearrange our work schedules. With more advance notice, it would have been easier. When I called the office about this, they said the "anticipated treatment date" is always printed on our statement, which I pointed out typically arrives AFTER the treatment has been performed -- not much help. Each visit we have to remind the techs to check the attic traps -- they always act surprised say that they didn't know we had anything up in the attic -- apparently there is NO record-keeping going on. We always respond that they SHOULD know, since they're the ones who placed it there. I've called management about this -- they apologized, but nothing has changed. Since there's no record of the bait boxes, they typically don't have the appropriate bait or traps with them to replenish the supply. They offer to come back another day, but frankly this is a massive inconvenience to rearrange our schedules yet again, simply because they once again showed up unprepared. They also keep insisting on using our ladder, so lil old 5'3" me has to carry the 6' ladder down the hall for them and set it up. They never offer to help with this. This last visit, rather than knocking on the front door to hand us our receipt as usual, which gives us the opportunity to once again remind them of the traps in the attic, the tech attached the receipt to the front door knob and scampered away, even though he knew we were home at that time. I've recently unsubscribed from their service, as I am sick of the inconvenient scheduling and them showing up unprepared to carry out the treatments to which they agreed.
Description of Work: Yard was treated for pests bimonthly. Interior was treated once or twice. Traps were set for rodents in the attic. Bait boxes were placed outside the garage and in the attic.
