The owner of Mission Hills Painting (a few years ago so don't remember his name) was a slick talker and kept 'suggesting' more work to be done on our property by friends he knew in various businesses. For example, replace the wrought iron fencing around pool, landscaping, replace porch lights. We did have the wrought iron partially replaced and liked that worker, but MHP seemed a bit sly. We are not knowledgeable about such things so we just took him at his word. He also talked us into letting them paint our front porch, which is concrete. I regret that decision because the paint peeled and chipped fairly quickly. I did request references from MHP and actually went to see a few houses he had painted. I rang the doorbell of one in my neighborhood and asked if they were happy with the company. I should have been leery when the male homeowner vacillated, hesitated, and then finally said, "I guess so." But his house looked nice.
Description of Work: Painted our stucco house exterior; replaced porch lights; had someone replace some wrought iron fencing.

They started off well and actually came recommended by someone else. The work became messy and they left spots everywhere. They didn't do any baseboard work, and they didn't even double coat some rooms. They were very unprofessional.
Description of Work: Mission Hills painted the inside of our 2,500 square foot home. This included 3 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, a hallway, a dining room, a family room and a kitchen. They used Sherwin Williams paint and the work took a week.

Response from Mission Hills Painting
9/27/2010 We went out of our way to bring many color samples to chose from, Customer was happy with colors chosen for different rooms, Masking with tape, drops, paper and plastic was used. We used best materials we could find and satin finishes, We moved furniture and window dressing and replaced. As job started and progressed progress payments were made, communication as to satisfaction of progress was made and agreed upon. Upon completion a full walk through was done in each room and touch up was done, finally customer paid in full. I can understand the confusion, Extra detail work requested required additional fees that customer did not want to pay for and was not on the contract. Upon customers request and additional fee we will go out of our way to please customer, and we have many letters of reccomendation letters to prove our commitment to our customers satisfaction.
