The proprietor selected the wrong product for a fence-staining project. After the work started and the error was brought to her attention, she instructed her workers to correct the error, which they did. However, she charged several hundred dollars to correct the error she made.

Hire my husband is great! I've used them before and have found Dawson wonderful. My disposal air switch was malfunctioning and they diagnosed it and referred us to someone who could help as the electric part of it was the issue. They didn't charge us but were extremely helpful to us. We would certainly use them again!!!!

They are excellent. They arrive on time. They give good estimates and get the work done really quickly. They also clean up really well and don't mind answering questions that you have. I will continue to use them.

I couldn't be happier with my new bathroom. Dawson is a wonderful project manager; she coordinated the right people from HRH to perform each of the tasks and made recommendations that were very helpful. My house is over 50 years old, so, needless to say, the WC and vanity spaces are small and not "today's standard". I ordered most of the material from Amazon, and the vanity from Home Depot; Dawson was instrumental in insuring I ordered the right sizes. The HRH work was completed with excellent quality, on time, and all workers were professional throughout. Dawson was able to recommend and coordinate the selection and installation of the new bathroom vanity countertop with one of her vendor contacts, and that made it really easy. Dawson is very responsive and communicated with me every step of the way. I feel very comfortable working with her, as well as all her handymen, who are punctual and courteous. HRH also hauled away all the crates and boxes at the end of the project, which I appreciated very much.

The estimate was neither low nor high. However, the work included was all about what was fast and profitable. We were given an estimate that was a flat fee, and we were very concerned about pricey change orders. Ultimately, we went with a more detailed and professional estimate for the work that we really wanted done. HMH took a long time to respond, and we ultimately felt that they didn't really care about our business. We did book their tile subcontractor for four projects while we were deciding on a bathroom contractor. All four projects need resetting or repair, and though the tile guy was very nice, the quality of execution and professionalism were big issues. We are diverting funds to hire someone to fix the four jobs, at a cost of thousands of dollars and adding months to our remodel timeline

She was very professional and nice. I was advised the estimate would emailed to me within the next few days however it was mailed to my home within a couple of weeks. The estimate was pretty high for the amount of work needed so we ended up not using them.

I have worked with Hire My Husband many times and have never been disappointed. Dawson is always quick to get the job done, she's professional, courteous and delightful to work with. Any time I have had work done, the job is done well and the worksite is always left clean. The husbands that perform the work are talented and efficient. I had a larger project in mind but the weather interfered and it could not be done. I will probably go back to them in the spring to get it done.

They were awesome. We received the written estimate within the promised time and the work was done very well. They installed a threshold as well that we didn't even think to ask for. It was going to rain the day of the work so they arranged to come back another day to finish up with the painting so it would dry properly. They cleaned up very well. I was at work and my wife was home during the work. She felt comfortable and I would use them again with no reservations.

The project went very smoothly. The workers arrived on time every morning and were very skilled, hard-working, and very courteous. I threw a wrench into things deciding at the last minute to texture the walls. They quickly rearranged the schedule and incorporated this into the project. I really needed help figuring out what we might do with the kitchen and they provided ideas on colors, counters, tile concepts and suggested the wine cooler to replace the trash compactor. The outcome from my perspective is a beautiful job, completed on time and within the estimates that were provided. It has received many positive comments from friends and neighbors. I have used Hire My Husband before with the same great results. I highly recommend them.

The whole experience was wonderful..... I've never use Angie's list before but definitely will be my go to resource in the future. Just brought it up on Google let her know my needs for a handyman and they forwarded on information for hire my husband. Within a day had a email from Dawson at hire my husband to see what she could do to help me out. Then within a week when it was convenient in my schedule one of her associate showed up on time, professional, polite and eager to please. I did use them and I have used them few times. I first used them when I first moved here in 2013 and then I used them again sometime last year. I have used them at least three or four times. First time they came in he had to hook up my washer dryer and stuff. They also hung some cloak boards and stuff for me. I was pleased with their service that is is why I used. If I have anything else is required in handy person I just call their company. They are prompt. The first time the guy came installed something and it didn't quite work out and I have to call them back because the thing had disconnected so she send somebody else back out here to fix it correctly. She comes out and does the assessment and everything and she will give you the estimate and stuff and what the job would cost upfront so you are not surprised. She is straightforward. She has been good with me and I use them all the time.

I met the wife at an HOA event in our complex and asked her if they did small jobs and she said YES. So I set an appointment with her to come out and measure for a closet I wanted made and another closet measured for new doors. She seemed nice and was on time for the appointment BUT I never heard from her again! NO email-NO phone call-NO letter. I received a PHONE call from her after this review and she informed her estimate was not only MAILED to me but E-mailed to me and I received neither of them. So lost in the mail both through the internet and the mailman. She also says many of her clients do not get back to her on her estimates and thought because of my silence I decided to not have her do the job. I have signed with another company to do the job and hope this review helps anyone needing a job done.

Working with Dawson is a pure pleasure. Even though the estimate for the work was a little higher than I expected, it is totally worth it to work with someone as professional as Dawson. Knowing that I was on a budget she worked with me to figure out how I could save on costs. Her communication is exceptional. Whenever something unexpected occurred she always called me before taking any action to give me options on how to proceed. She never pressured me to do anything and was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and what options I had. Her "husbands" did a great job on my deck and when one of the boards was not quite flush with the rest they cheerfully came back out and fixed it. I have happily recommended Hire My Husband to friends and will have them come back to seal my deck.

We hired Hire My Husband to help get our house ready for sale. We innitially hired tham for painting But as time passed we found that more work was required. In the end they painted, repaired walls and rebuilt our deck. They were very responsive to our needs and rush time frame.

The projects were done on two separate days and involved two different handypersons with the appropriate skills for each job. They both showed up on time, were very courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, left the work areas spotless, and did outstanding work. The jobs were completed on time and I am extremely pleased with the result and the pricing of both jobs. For the grab bar installation the handyman worked with my disabled family member to ensure that the bars were optimally placed. They proposed a better solution for a future project that plan to have done. I highly recommend Hire My Husband.
