They were very nice. They came when they said they would cleaned up after themselves. It was little difficult to get a hold of him to begin with, but he was very nice and gave me suggestions on some other painting.

Wow!! We hired Woodiwiss Painting because of the glowing ratings on Angie's list and they totally exceeded even our high expectations. Toby Woodiwiss came to our home and reviewed the work that we wanted done. He took comprehensive notes and then provided us with a detailed quote for each aspect of the job. The crew, Mario and Hector, arrived promptly each day, worked diligently and left everything clean each evening. They took great pride in their work and were very conscientious and professional. Mario also identified and fixed some items we had not originally requested. Although Mario and Hector had the talent and dedication to work independently, I was pleased to see that Toby was present each of the four days to oversee the work. Toby remembered all of the items that we had talked about including the small details like washing a window that we could never reach, removing a bird's nest on the roof and repairing the grout around the bar. Their professionalism was apparent in how efficiently the job was managed and how they took care of all the details. As requested, they completed the project right on schedule. Although we did not request multiple competitive bids, we thought the total cost was quite reasonable for all the work they did. And we could not have been happier with the quality of their work.

Toby came and gave me an estimate of the work I wanted done. He gave me helpful suggestions that helped me save money. His crew was polite and arrived on time. They did a beautiful job and finished before planned. Toby also did extra work for me ( changed the hardware on front door and all exterior doors ) at no extra charge. He was professional and a pleasure to work with.

From the beginning, these folks knew their stuff, had the right skills, and had high standards. When they came to examine the house to give us a bid,Mr. Woodiwiss carefully explained what they would do and made recommendations to address our concerns and needs. The bid was competitive. They arrived right in time on the appointed day and proceeded to their work efficiently and professionally. They took great care to protect furniture and contain any messes. The crew was exceptional. They finished everything in two days, replaced all the furniture, and cleaned up such that there was almost no additional work for us. Well worth the price. We'd highly recommend them.

We have a whole house internal painting job for a fairly large house Including everything. Toby's workers come early and worked hard, tried to accommodate our very demanding schedule by working on Saturday and Sunday, and comleted the job on schedule with good quality. His response has been prompt. Price is very fair. And I can find him each time I need his attention. What impressed me more, however, is Toby's professionalism and warm-heartedness - We had another painting job in January and Toby was one of the painters submitted proposal but we used the other guy. Some other guys showed unhappiness and refused to come to give estimate for this job. Toby came and gave us another estimate and gave us many good suggestions and referrals for various repairs for the house, he even tried to find some rare parts for me without knowing I would hire him for the job! We didn't give him notice for more than a month while we tried to repair the house, and when I finally told him to accept his bid, he was able to mobilize his team in a week to meet my schedule. I find his service very satisfying and I certainly would invite him again when my next painting job comes.

I was impressed with the painting quality and overall work. It was 4 days with two workers to complete the painting. The baseboards took a little longer than estimated which was another 5 days with a total of three workers. All of the employees were hard working and arrived at 8 every day and typically left around 5:30. I appreciated the fact that Toby oversaw the project, as he came by at least once every day to check on the workers. He was also prompt in answering all of our questions and getting us the quote as promised. We changed our minds a few times on the colors but Toby was patient and brought by sample paint so we could see each on the wall before we made the final choice. Althoughit took a few days longer, I was very happy with the service and work performed. I plan to useToby again for an exterior painting job.

Showed up on time for quote. Quote done in a timely manner, and was reasonable. Painters completed work with a high degree of professionalism, and cleaned up when finished. Great!

Toby, owner, came day of service, introduced workman. Workman did not disturb househould. Saved me some money by finding some matching paint in garage. Super clean, covered all none painted services. Sanded enameled doors and painted same color. Cleaned up afterwards. Painted in one day, great job. Toby explained need for paint to cure for a few days. Paid and job completed. Could not have been more seamless.

Toby called us back the same day we left a message asking for an estimate. He arrived at the appointed time on the day of the estimate. His worker Isaac arrived promptly on the day the work was scheduled. Isaac left the roof access areas and our front and back yards clean, with no evidence of drips or spills. He even touched up a few other areas on the ground floor siding where our downspouts had been replaced, for no additional charge. We were pleased with the work, and will definitely consider this company when it is time to have some interior painting done.

The process was easy from the original estimate, to the scheduling of work, by Toby, to the professional work (by, I wish I could remember the gentleman's name.) He was meticulous, tidy and personable. Would use this company in the future for any painting needs. Thanks Woodiwiss Painting!

They have painted and caulked in my kitchen, and painted in the family room, hallway, bedroom, and some metal trim on the exterior as well as wood trim on the exterior. They arrive when they say they will, put in a full day of work, and clean up before leaving. It all goes off without hitch and I trust them to be in my home when I am not there. And they are kind and respectful to my dogs!

Estimate: Toby walked through the project with me and provided valuable info about types of paint and primer needed to accomplish the goals. At least one room had an oil-based paint (original paint) which he readily identified and provided options for covering successfully this time around. He also made some cost-saving suggestions for using existing paint on hand and supplementing with new paint. Painting days: On the first work day he came with a crew of 3 and they worked pretty rapidly to prep, prime (where needed), and begin painting. Toby was on hand at the beginning to supervise and explain specifically what work was to be done. He also went to the store to pick up paint. At the end of the first day I noticed that one of the workers (only 1 spoke enough English to communicate with me) was continuously running water in the laundry room sink to clean a paint brush. Right after that, when I did an inspection of the work completed, I noticed water pooling on the floor in the master bathroom where the toilet had been removed and that there was paint residue in the master bath shower (house had been vacant for 5 months and we had replaced flooring, but not yet put the toilets back). The water on the floor had been somewhat mopped up with paper towels. When I asked what had happened, the workers seemed hesitant to tell me. I had to insist that I wasn't blaming them for anything but needed to know if water had indeed come up from the toilet hole indicating a backed up sewer system. It took a bit of time, but I finally got the one worker with English skills to get another worker to explain what he had seen (water backing up). I called Toby and asked him to instruct his workers to stop running water in the house and clean paint brushes, etc. outside because it was going to take a couple of days to get the plumber to the house. The backed up sewer system was not their fault, they just happened to be the ones to encounter the issue. Day 2: The workers arrived and finished the painting. They didn't run water in the house (as requested), but they did leave me with a paint spattered hose and spray attachment along with the paint residue in the back yard. The cover for the sewer cleanout at the front of the house (exterior) was also open, but I couldn't get any of them to admit that they had opened it, so I guess it just magically opened itself. Toby did a final walkthrough and also got a negative answer when he asked about the cleanout. Pros - Toby knows what he's doing and his workers did a great job with the painting. I was extremely happy with the results. He repainted a portion of the bathroom when the touchup paint turned out to be the wrong color (took initiative and fixed the problem) without charging me extra. Cons - Toby isn't there the whole time and unless you speak Spanish, his workers are a challenge to communicate with. The cleanup of painting equipment was not a satisfactory experience.

Very professional, nice to work with, punctual, but since he was so busy he never came back to finish painting a door he promised to paint. That was disappointing. Good craftsmanship, too.

Everything went great, and house looks good. Toby provided clear estimates and solutions for potential work needed, and he stuck to what we agreed to. He also provided advice for how to address other issues in the future. My only negative comment is that he was late for the initial appointment, I needed to call and check to see where he was.

Although we didn't end up using their service (for unrelated reasons), I do have to say that the professionalism was top-notch. They arrived on time to assess the job and provided a competitive bid. But what most impressed us is when we said we were not going to have the work done after all, there was no sourness in the response. It was courteous and friendly and "keep us in mind for next time". That's the kind of professionalism worth noting.

I thought it was a great value considering the fact that I don't have the tools (or time) to do the work myself. Thanks Woodiwiss!

Super! Didn't encounter any problems, it was smooth 1/2 day painting project. No mess was left, everything was cleared off as they stepped off the job. The owners assistant even drove me around to three different locations to grab the quality paint I needed.

Price is a bit steep but services were excellent, crews extremely respectful of scheduling needs and cleaned up very well at end of each day. All details were taken care of and Toby went out of his way to make sure we were happy with his servives; whih we were. He was also extremely patient with wife in choosing color pallete.

Toby was very easy to work with. His attitude was great and I would highly recommend him.

Toby came out right away and emailed an estimate within the timeframe promised. Toby helped me pick out the right colors for the walls and cabinets. His employee, Mario, was professional, punctual, and very conscientious. The bathroom looks beautiful. It was a pleasure working with Woodwiss Painting. I would definitely recommend it.

We had the Angie's List special of $199 for 7 hours of interior painting. Toby advised us of sanding and priming with "BIN" that needed to be done in our bathroom and we only had to wait a week for scheduling. My husband did the sanding and priming and we moved all the furniture out of the way in the bedroom and everything off the walls in the bedroom and bath including medicine cabinets, light over the mirror, fan etc. The painter was able to do an excellent job of 2 coats of painting in both the bedroom and bathroom. He was very neat and meticulous and it all looks super.
