Maureen's Professional House Cleaning

My experience with most house cleaners is that they do a great job - at first. Then the quality begins to fall off. Last time I became dissatisfied with the cleaners I hopped on here and got 3 companies to come give us an estimate. Two of those companies estimated the same amount we had been paying ($80 at the time) and 1 gave an estimate of $120. I decided to go with the more expensive one to see if the quality would last longer. That company was Maureen's Professional House Cleaning and it was well over a decade ago. They are still doing an excellent job - no fall off in quality. I am writing today because we are moving out of state so we won't be able to use their services anymore but I wanted to say that Maureen's is really the best!

Arrived on time, got right to work, did an excellent job of cleaning. I found things after they left that I didn't know they had cleaned. For example lamp shade in far back of office. Shade was grey - now it's white. Excellent job on stove top. They had to move some large potted plants to clean blinds and window sill and just did it without comment. They have cleaned twice and I plan to make it regular biweekly cleaning.

I have had other house cleaning services that started out very good but did not keep up the quality of their work over time. The last time I had to fire a company and looked into hiring a new service I decided to go with Maureen's even though the quote was higher than the others: $130 vs $80. They have been doing an excellent job cleaning my house ever since 2009!

     We having been using Maureen's for more than two years. They provide excellent, thoughtful service. They consult with clients about exactly what should be cleaned and what products to use. A member of our family has multiple chemical sensitivities, and Maureen's has been extremely helpful in working with us to find cleaners that won't cause medical issues but still will do the job.
     Another reason we think so highly of Maureen's is that we have the same cleaning crew every month. With other services, you often get different people each time, which can become problematic. Maureen's employees have worked with the company for many years, which is another indication of the firm's professionalism.
    

On time, complete, efficient, friendly, trustworthy.

The house keepers are either on time or, very occasionally, call to say they are running. They arrive and after a few minutes of pleasantries, the team gets to work and work continuously until done. They have an individualized list of chores for each client which they use to ensure consistency . The house keepers are trustworthy and reliable

I have been using Maureen's Housecleaning for years. I was hesitant to hire a service originally, but my weekly housekeeper of the past 30 years wasn't getting everything I needed done, so I added Maureen's for items like waxing antique furniture, polishing silver, and detailed cleaning of one specific area of the house per visit, while allowing my regular housekeeper to continue with her general cleaning routine. The crew from Maureen's are reliable, thorough, and responsive. They will do anything I ask them to do and generally do a bit more as well. Over the years I have acquired additional investment properties. In addition to my own residence they are also cleaning two additionalI houses and a guest wing. I trust them implicitly and have never had any reason to complain. I am more than pleased and I highly recommend them.

Cindy gives free estimates. You can choose whole house and only certain parts. I've been using them for 30 years. She only raises her prices when she absolutely has to and she gives her employees health benefits. You can get a lower price, but the quality, honesty, personality really make it a great company. Cindy is the heart and soul of the company, but every employee is wonderful.

They are very responsive and affordable. Typically, the same crew comes each week but at times, they can change it up a bit. If there is someone new to the company on the crew, she will have two other veterans on the job with them. If you have them do the windows, she typically sends a third person on the crew and there is a very reasonable additional charge. They bring their own products and the job usually takes them a couple of hours to complete the work in our house. When they show up, they have a clipboard with all of the specific particulars that we prefer in our home. Their prices are reasonable and they do a really good job with their service. I am very particular about some areas and they take note and make sure they modify them into their routine with our home. The owner has the clients submit a review on the service after the cleanings are complete so that she can bonus her employees accordingly. Their owner, Cindy Brungraber, is amazing. She even sends out an email reminder one day in advance to the appointment and specifies the expected time of the crews arrival for the appointment as well. It doesn't matter what the task you ask them, they will do what you want them to do. We will continue using their services going forward.
