Description of Work: The basics: professional, in-house crew, knowledgeable, thorough, reasonable service fees. We are so pleased (again) with the results of the front and back yard cleanup and tree-shaping work Alex and the rest of the CWC crew performed. The crew pruned the trees, shrubs, and removed our dead plants and all debris. Alex shaped our trees and ""tree-like"" shrubs and specimen plants with his gardener's knowledge and artist's eye. We used other yard crews in the past--and since our first service by CWC. We paid slightly lower prices for extremely poorer quality. DeDe, Mark, and the staff and crew at CWC are true professionals. We are committed to having them landscape and maintain our yard on a quarterly basis. We will see them again this month.

Description of Work: I was misinformed of what all the "Comprehensive Irrigation Assessment" would entail and feel I wasted $65. He arrived and all he did was look at my box and say he would email us an estimate. Never turned on the water to see how my sprinklers were working or anything. I just was not impressed at all and would not recommend them. I ended up using someone else who came out and actually assessed my irrigation system - which took him 45 minutes to do - and fixed it the following week.

 + 0 moreI spoke to the receptionist to arrange yard work. I explained that the trees needed trimming and some trees needed to be re secured after a recent storm. There were other details I needed to discuss with the gardeners as well. The receptionist seemed to disregard my request to speak to the gardeners; I re emphasized that I would like to speak with them before the work began and was assured this would be no problem. They were scheduled to arrive first thing in the morning, the receptionist said they would be there between 6am and 7am the following morning. I was up early to meet with them and discuss the details with the gardeners; after 9am ( 3 hrs late ) they had not yet arrived. When they did arrive they just started working without talking with me about what I wanted to have done; I told them to leave immediately and that I was not interested in working with them. I hired some other guys to do the work for less than half the amount of money CWC wanted.
Description of Work: The receptionist ignored my request to speak with the gardeners before the work began. They showed up three hours late. They began work without speaking with me. There cost was about three times more than the local gardeners. (I found them later)

 + -1 moreI recently terminated a relationship with another landscaper who had done work for me for several years. I decided to contact CWC because they appeared professional and had good reviews on Angie's List. They are also relatively near my home. When Mark came out, we "walked the yard". He addressed all of my questions including why certain bushes had been doing poorly for the last two years. He said they needed to be cut back in the Spring then would provide better growth. The price is slightly higher but I feel it is worth it. I am finally able to communicate with the people who do my yard. I can tell them what I want done and why. I no longer have to watch what someone does to ensure they don't trim all the bushes into unrealistic shapes. I am finally looking forward to getting my yard done the way I want it.

 + 1 moreThey have wonderful people working there. We have the same gardeners come out. Most companies can't keep good help, but they respect their workers and their workers respect them. They are fabulous. When a tree blows down we don't have to wait a week for them to come out. They are very timely. They are also extremelly dependable and the price is good.

 + 0 moreThey worked their busy schedule around 3 days so we could get things done as soon as possible. Trees and yard look great. They gave us instructions on what to do to make the grass successful and followed up with calls and emails to see if everything is going well.
Description of Work: Trimmed 3 Palo Verde trees, cleaned up whole yard and trimmed bushes, took out old lawn and resod with new grass.

 + 3 moreI have had CWC doing my yard since Oct of 2009. I bought the house and had to return to another state to sell my then existing house and prepare to move. I found CWC on the BBB website. They did an wonderful job of taking care of my yard in my absence. When something extra needed to be done (trees fell in a storm), they took pictures of the problem before and after. I moved into my home in May of 2010 and have been enjoying my yard without lifting a finger ever since. They are extremely honest and punctual. I know I can always count on them to do the job.
Description of Work: This is a bi-weekly service consisting of yard care. They mow the lawn, weed the yard and trim the bushes on a bi-weekly basis. When needed they trim or remove trees, adjust the sprinkle and drip system, and fertilize or winterize the lawn.
