The Crown Tree and Yardwork

STILL HORRIBLE!!! NEVER REACHED OUT TO FIX ISSUE. TOOK MY $400.00 AND RAN! MADE A FAKE REVIEW A WEEK AFTER I SUBMITTED MINE.

It went great. I left a message and they called right back and even had someone come to my house the same afternoon to give me an estimate. Then just a couple days later they were out on Saturday morning to complete the work. I couldn't have asked for a quicker turnaround. Also, Lorenzo really seemed to know his stuff. He's not your average "blow and go" guy. He was able to provide me with much needed recommendations for properly trimming and maintaining our plants. And then to top it off I received a call later on Saturday to confirm I was happy with the service. This appears to be a solid husband and wife team that really cares about service. I would definitely recommend them.

On Wednesday morning October 23rd, two employees of The Crown Tree and Yard Work arrived to perform the work. About an hour after they left I had finished cleaning up the yard and wanted to water the front lawn. Much to my dismay, water started GUSHING from 2 holes that they made to deep fertilize around the palm trees. I called the office right away and said we have a problem. She stated she needed to send the same crew back out to verify that the leak was from their doing. No problem. I wasn't the least bit worried. All of their holes were still visible around each tree where they fertilized. The 2 leaks were perfectly matching the circle they made around the palm and were spaced exactly like the other holes. She said they were on another job and didn't know when they would get done. A little later I went to turn on my drip system for trees and shrubs. AGAIN, water LEAKING from another palm. I couldn't believe it! I called back immediately and let the office lady know the problem was WORSE. Not only was the SPRINKLER SYSTEM damaged, but now the DRIP SYSTEM is damaged. I explained that I was on vacation from work and needed to get my yard fixed up for the fall. I wanted to winter seed and that means watering new seed several times a day. This needed to get FIXED. She didn't know if they could come back out or not that day. I explained I would be home all day Thursday ANYTIME. I had other things to do the rest of the week and couldn't sit around at home after that. Well, no one showed on Wednesday, no one showed on Thursday, (I told her then I would be home until Noon on Friday and Saturday) no one showed on Friday, no one showed on Saturday, and no one showed on Sunday. All the while I am calling each day and leaving messages or emailing. On Friday I sent them 2 videos of the damage, which I will post on here, hoping they would see first hand what I was talking about and fix the issue. I got a curt email stating the crews were out working. I then asked for an OWNER, MANAGER, or SUPERVISOR to contact me. NOTHING!! Meanwhile, we winter seeded the lawn and had to hand water it since the system was broken. I finally gave up on Sunday afternoon and had to HIRE another company to come out and fix the DAMAGE caused by The Crown Tree and Yard Work's employees. Monday I returned to work. On Tuesday The Crown Tree SNEAKS out early in the morning to look at damage. I made it very clear I wanted to be home when they came. I get an email stating the area has been "tampered" with and they are not responsible. Uh, YAH it's been tampered with! SOMEBODY ELSE HAD TO COME AND FIX IT. How long did you think I was going to sit here with this mess? I told you I only had a few more days of vacation and needed to plant bushes and reseed lawn. I was sitting here waiting day after day after day! On November 4th, 5th, 8th, and 9th I emailed them the bill for the work the other company did to repair the damage done by The Crown Tree and Yard Work. Do you think they took care of the customer right away? Did they offer to repay for the damage as fast as they cashed my $400.00 check? Sorry to say NO. Not one response back ever since I have submitted the bill. It is now November 13th, 2013. So in closing, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. If anything goes wrong they will NOT take care of the issue. Once they are paid they are GONE.
