Great! He returned my call within minutes. He also arranged to come out on the same day, after hours, to repair my refigerator. He took all my info and checked his parts to make sure he had what he thought he would need on his van so he could repair it that night. He gave me a one hour window...one hour! That is amazing!! You usually get a three hour window, not only that but he showed up ON TIME!! He arrived and inspected the refrigerator and reparied. I feel that he was very fair with his pricing too.

Initial call Roger was very prompt and on-time to the initial appointment. He arrived at my home and quickly assessed the problem, ordered the part and rescheduled the following week. As agreed he received the part and arrived as scheduled. He spent roughly 40 minutes installing the part and didn't waste any time while on the clock. Roger was extremely polite, professional and we will certainly be using him in the future.

Roger returned my call promptly, asking pertinent and knowledgable questions about my refrigerator's condition. He was able to come out early enough that I was able to get to work on time, and he was able to make the repair in about fifteen minutes. I could not be happier.

Roger did excellent work, was very personable and didn't mind my watching and asking questions. I really appreciated that he gave me a 1 hour timeframe instead of the 4-8 hour window that larger companies give and he arrived in the first 30 minutes of that hour. He worked quickly and fortunately had the part needed on his truck.

The tech, Ray repaired the gas stove and washer is less then one hour. He showed up on time and was able to determine the problem with each appliance and repair them. They are both running like they are brand new. I highly recommend North Valley. I saved 10% on the repair with the Angies List coupon!

The owner is very nice and easy to talk to. I've had him out before and he's quick - he knows what to look for. Very experienced and honest. I will continue to call him on my appliances.

He changed the part on the dryer and cleaned the vent thoroughly.

Several years ago our ice maker quit working. We called a repair service (didn't use Angie's list). Repairman came and basically told us it would probably cost over $700 to repair (no guarantee). Best bet would be to buy a new refrigerator. Of course we paid the service call and decided we didn't need an icemaker that badly. Called Roger. After a few questions over the phone, he knew the model and type of icemaker. He came the next day. He showed me how the flashing light on the ice maker was a code for the problem. It needed a new circuit board. 30 minutes later it was fixed. Also if there are any problems in the next 30 days Roger will come back out. Roger explained that many service companies simply want to charge for a service call and move on. Roger is one of those rare service professionals who takes pride in his trade and puts service first. Rare qualities today.

Roger did all his troubleshooting (visual and electrical) to determine the reason why the dishwasher would not turn on. He discovered that the "Hot Wire" black had severed at the pivot point and prevented the dishwasher to turn on. He re-routed a new "Hot Wire" black and made the connections at both ends and my dishwasher was back and running perfectly in a little over 30 minutes. No expensive touch pad panel or control board needed that would of had to be ordered and have our dishwasher down for 2 more days.

Roger, the owner was excellent to work with. He seemed very thorough with his testing to find out why the refrigerator and the freezer had stopped working. He seemed surprised that all 3 circuit boards needed to be replaced. I have a GE Profile model, purchased in 2007. He did have to order two of the three circuit boards. He returned two other times to replace the boards as they came in. He did 3 service calls for only 1 fee of $65.00. He discounted his labor charge and one of the circuit board costs because I was a member of Angies List. I had also contacted GE for information and costs. He was very willing to tell me what he was doing and answered any questions I had. I would definitely call him again for any appliance repair I may need in the furture. He really seemed to know what he was doing. Thank you, Roger!

Roger arrived on time as scheduled. He was most professional and provided me with a couple of options including to just disconnect my clock on my 25 year old range. We both agreed disconnecting the clock was the most cost effective best option. Job was completed within a few minutes. I felt his price was fair and I appreciated the care he took not to scratch my wood floor. I would call Roger again for any small appliance needs I may have.

Roger is a quiet professional who knows his business and efficiently performs the repairs. Our under-counter fridge was wedged in tightly yet he managed to slide it out and back in without damaging the surrounding cabinetry.

Roger was able to diagnose the problem quickly and was very forthcoming in the options we had. We ended up choosing to buy a new machine instead of repairing it - based on the advice Roger gave us and after explaining what it would take to fix what broke.

I called North Valley Appliance Service early afternoon on Saturday 9/14/2013 and he was at my house by 4:30PM the same day. I have a Maytag Neptune washer which was getting a "Lr" code and would not do a full spin cycle. After troubleshooting many things he noticed some water might have gotten on the control panel. After taking the panel out and cleaning it off everything worked. Thank goodness otherwise the panel only is like $200.00. Everything was put back where it belongs and everything clean and tidy. I would strongly recommend this company. Oh, and I used a coupon off Angie's List for 10% off Labor and 10% off service call.
