We had a water flood the freezer from the ice machine. We called and set up the appointment the next morning with North Valley. We had to wait about four days for an opening but it wasn't too bad. They ran about 30 minutes late to the call without any notification they were running late but that wasn't too bad either. He came in assessed the issue, had the parts on this truck and replaced it. It was all done within 45 minutes. I am extremely pleased with the work and would hire them again in the future.

It has been working perfectly since then. The washer was rocking as if it was out of balance, but this was not the problem. The washer cabinet had come apart and he re-installed it as well as put rough pads under the feet so it would not "walk" back and forth.

Ray, was professional and fair. He placed my front load machines properly after the movers insisted they had to be in different spots. He did not charge me for hose or plug extenders, as they were not needed. He could have easily told me they needed extenders He fixed the drawer in the pedestal that was causing the loud noise during the spin cycle. He could have said that it was a belt or other expensive repair. He made two trips and did not charge an additional trip charge. Wonderful!!!!!

Showed up during the timeframe provided. Very knowledgable. Friendly an courteous. Would use again

Roger determined that we are in need of a new refrigerator however he was able to give it a little more life until we are able to get one. He was able to determine that the service techs that had been sent to our home in the past (once a year for the last 4-5 years) were only "band-aid"-ing the problem and now it is damaged beyond repair. I would definitely use him again.

The first time I found this company through Angie's List, and the owner came out and fixed my freezer. He was efficient and professional. Then this last time I didn't mention Angie's List, he was a little bit late for the appointment first thing in the morning but he fixed everything efficiently. Both times he had the parts that were needed. I would use him again. He is quiet and professional.

My upright freezer was clearly failing. Temperatures inside had risen from 0 to about 25. When I called he said he couldn't get to my house before 6:00 - 6:30 and he sowed up at 6:25. By the time he arrived inside freezer temperatures had risen to 35. He immediately determined that there was a Freon leek and then he thoroughly checked to try to find where it was. He was unable to find it, refilled the Freon , advised me that at some point in the future, maybe a week, maybe a month, maybe a year I'd have the same problem, or worse. He worked on the problem for an hour and a half - charged $20 for labor and $65 for the service call and $13 for parts. Very competent and very professional.

What can I say? The owner showed up on time and was able to fix the problem on the spot for a reasonable cost. Problem solved. I would use his service again.

The problem wasn't obvious, so Roger had to use his knowledge of how the washing machine works to test possible causes and eliminate them until he could deduce what the problem was. He came down to saying that the motor controller board was most likely the issue. He had a motor and controller, but not with him, so we scheduled another appointment for him to return with the parts. No payment was requested during the first visit. The manufacturer sells the controller board separately from the motor, but the additional charge for the motor was only $30.00, so I replaced the motor as well.

Problem quickly diagnosed and repaird

I called on Thursday & they were out the next afternoon. He was very professional went straight to the kitchen checked the oven to see what our problem was & fixed the it. He had the part he needed on the truck. Was very clean. I would highly recommend this company.

This was great service!!! Roger and an assistant came to the house to a**** the problems with my washing machine. It took them a couple of hours to find the problem, replace the part and clean up. They did a great job and were very nice. It seems like every time I have someone come to repair an appliance its 250.00 give or take a few. This company was very fair with their pricing. I hate to write this report because I want to keep this great company to myself. Thanks Roger for doing business the old fashion way. Fair. I will definitely be calling Roger without hesitation when my next appliance goes south.

He walked me through alternatives, which I am pursuing. If it's not satisfactory, I'll call and know he'll handle it well.

It's a sole-proprietor company. The owner was very knowledgeable and he was very good to work with. He showed how everything is to be fixed. I would certainly use them again. We haven't had any trouble. The guy came out and did all the work until it was done.

We sent him away and fortunately he didn't charge us as he really didn't know what was wrong. We called the GE repair people (it was a GE appliance). They came out ON TIME, spent 10 minutes diagnosing the problem, inserted a $40 part and the fridge works as if it was new. I wouldn't let the North Valley fellow back in my house if he was the last appliance repair person on earth.

Called to say when he was on his way, showed up on time, performed the work, and the work was perfect. What else can you ask for? I asked him what other things he services while he was there, so that I can definitely use him again. I didn't feel like he was out to get me, dollar-wise like some of the other folks on this list - who quoted me a dollar figure before they even knew what model washer I had.

He arrived when he said he would. Did not give us a four hour window of when he might come. Great! Completed the work within an hour. Dishwasher is fixed and we are greatful. Thank you!

We discovered late in the afternoon that our refrigerator and freezer were not cold. Ice had melted etc. Went to Angie's list and called North Valley Appliance Service. It was 5:55pm and I did not really expect him to answer but he did. After I explained the problem he said he would be here within the hour. I was very surprised that he would actually come here that late at night but he showed up and had the part with him. Fixed the refrigerator and by 7:15PM was out the door. Very professional, very polite and we will call him again any time we need an appliance repaired.

Excellent! Dishwasher works like it did when we bought it 10 years ago. Roger is my go-to appliance repair guy now! Dishes were coming out with soap residue. Diagnosed problem quickly on first visit. Quickly scheduled and returned with special ordered heating element. Also repaired squealing door with pulley kit. Chock-full of recommendations, use powder versus liquid, take care not to introduce sink dishwasher soap into unit, use Lemi Shine, etc.

Exceptional service attitude. Makes the Maytag man look like an under- achiever !

He was professional and qualified. Identified problem and had materials necessary to repair.

We told the repairman the brand and serial number so that he'd have the part available to do the job. He set the appointment time so that there wasn't adequate time to stop by the parts place to pick up a new one. That's why confirming the brand/model was important so we didn't have to make ourselves available multiple times for the same issue. He was competent but not coming prepared to do the job knocks the rating down a level. The reason we wouldn't use this provider in the future is that we're selling our house and moving into an apartment. Maintenance on the appliances will not be our responsibility.

Roger is very good at assessing the problem and getting the issure resolved. I would recommend him without reservation.
