Excellent. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and had the part on his truck. Repair was completed within 30 minutes. Leaking problem solved.

Roger arrived on time and with the right parts to fix the refrigerator. He knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it. This experience compared so favorably to other repair experiences where first you pay for a diagnosis visit and then for a return visit (often many days later) and two hefty service charges. Instead this was handled quickly, professionally and at a very reasonable cost. I am not hoping for any of my other appliances to breakdown, but I'm happy to know that North Valley Appliiance exixts in case they do.

We had a power surge and my microwave/oven were blown out. Roger diagnosed the problem over the phone, ordered replacement parts on a Thurs afternoon. He was here on Saturday with everything he needed. His bill was more than reasonable, he was very upfront about what a replacement control board would cost and the options based on schedule and time. He is very knowledgeable and honest.

The large burners on my electric stove did not make a good connection and were frequently not working. The repairman arrived on time, did a good job and we are satisfied.

I called and Roger answered the phone. We set up a time and date when he could come out to do the repairs. He was on time and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes and was straight forward on pricing. We were very pleased with this company and would use them again in the future.

Tech determined bearings were bad and need replacing and if shaft is scored too deep it will need replacing also. Due to large scope of repair, entire washer had to be taken back to shop. Both bearings and shaft had to be replaced. Washer was returned two days later as promised. Tech brought old parts back to show me the damage. Bill was same amount as estimate. Washer worked well except front boot that seals tub wasn't draining properly. Tech said they didn't remove boot but he would come and check out the problem. I was anticipating a $60 or $70 service call if it was something they didn't work on but figured it was worth it. Tech came same day, showed me a simple method to unclog drain holes and the service call was free. I would rate this company a "ten" and would use them again!

Rodger was fantastic. Even though he could not make it out before I had to leave on a trip, he was able to walk me through the repair over the phone. I am calling him today for my washing machine. This one I won't be able to fix myself.

I had a fridge leak caused by over-pressurization of coolant that led to frost buildup on the copper coils - as the compressor cycled, the frost would melt and drip onto the floor. Roger figured this out within 5 minutes, and used a special tool to drain some of the coolant.

My 20 year old washer was making a squeaking noise. (Thougt it was finally dying). North Valley Appliance Repair was on time and found the problem right away. He had the part with him and washer was fixed in less than 30 minutes. Hasn't made a peep since. I was very happy with the services and even happier I did not have to go out and buy a new washer! We will be using them again to keep the "old girl" running for as long as possible.

Again: Found service on Angies' List. Ordered part for dryer and when the part arrived the part was installed right away. Excellent service. Later I ordered a part for my fridge and the part was ordered and delivered when received at back door without disturbing any house members. I left payment on door. I was unhappy that the dishwasher couldn't be easily repaired, but I was very pleased that I didn't spend a lot of money trying to fix a machine that may not ever work again.

Called in the am and he came out in afternoon in the time frame that he promised. He was very knowledgeable about the fridge and price was very fair.

My mother had a malfunctioning washing machine. Roger came out and showed exactly what was wrong with it, and he explained that it wasn't worth fixing. He cut his service fee in half. He was very knowledgeable and professional.

I called Roger mid-morning Friday and explained the nature of my problem. He explained via phone call a couple of scenarios that could be the solution for repairing the felt liner. We agreed upon his service call fee of $65. Roger arrived within 2 hours of my phone call. After looking at my dryer he realized that only a small portion of the liner had come loose and the majority of the piece was still intact providing the needed protection it was designed to give. It would have also required replacing the entire drum @ a cost of $230 to fix the felt issue. Roger felt confident that I could continue to use my dryer "as is" with 2/3rd's of the felt in place and charged me only $32.50 (half of the agreed upon service call fee). I was delighted with his promptness, fairness of price and professionalism. I would be very happy to recommend his 30+ years of experience to anyone in need of an appliance repair.

Roger arrived toward the end of the one-hour window he had given us. He took the front panel off of the washer and examined the insides. He pronounced it fixable and got to work rebalancing the tub and securing it with new screws. He then put the washer through a full cycle, to make sure it would work. He advised us on how to avoid a recurrence of the problem: don't overload the washer, and wash like fabrics together (i.e., don't combine heavy fabrics with lighter ones, such as towels with sheets). His price was very reasonable, and we were very satisfied with his work.

Roger was very prompt and professional. He showed up on time and we had good communication from start to finish. He diagnosed and replaced a heating element on my problem prone LG dishwasher. The job couldn't have gone any better. The price was fair and I got his Angies list coupon discount. I will definitely use him again.

The refrigerator had been making ice on the side of the freezer compartment. It had been "allegedly repaired" by someone else previously. However, the problem remained. Roger looked at it, ordered parts and fixed it for real. Roger is now three for three-fixed the washer, the dishwasher and the refrigerator. You can count on Roger to get it done correctly at a very reasonable price.

Roger arrived as scheduled and went to work, only to discover that the fridge could not be pulled out from the counter. He did what he could, cleaned out evaporation trays,etc. He showed us how the fridge was blocked by the floor, reset the temp, and explained how the fridge works and what might have caused the problem. Thorough and professional and I will definitely call again if we have another appliance problem.

After Roger told me where to get the part and the best way to install it, I did the repair myself. He showed me how to take the cabinet off the washer and it made the installation go much better than if I tried to do it without taking the washer apart. His advice turned what would have been a very long and difficult job into a half hour installation. The washer has worked fine ever since.

Roger was on time for the appointment and was very professional. I felt the price was extremely fair, and Roger gave me a 10% discount because I was an Angie's List member. I didn't even have to ask for the discount! Roger did a great job, and I will definitely call him again for any repairs to our large appliances. I would highly recommend this company!
