Rodger was great. He was very honest, diagnosed the problem and was very efficient. He explained everything he was doing. My refrigerator has a potential problem in the future. Instead of trying to sell me expensive parts and service, his recommendation was to get it running again, see how long it lasts and if the problem persists replace the parts at that point. I couldn't have asked for a more honest diagnosis and recommendation. I WILL definitely use Roger in the future.

He was friendly and professional, came right out on a weekend. Didn't charge more for the weekend. My refrigerator and freezer weren't working, and my food was getting ruined. He got things going again.

I called him on Saturday and he said he'd could come by somewhere between 5 & 6, that day. He came by a little early, which was great for us and looked it over. He said that there was a leak in the sealed system (where the coolant is contained) and said we could either have them repair it or go buy a new frig. He recommended going to buy a new one, due to the age of ours and that the cost to repair was about 1/2 the cost of a new one. So, he may have lost some business on us this time, but in the future, he's the first guy I'm calling.

He came the next day after the call, and with some effort was able to correct the problem (that a housesitter had caused inadvertently). Professional, pleasant, and prompt.

I called North Valley Appliance and made an appointment for Monday. He showed up during the window stated. The dryer was running, but nothing was drying; he found the problem very quickly and fixed it. It turned out to be caused by my load controller. As long as he was there, I asked him about replacing a baffle on my washer. He ordered the part on the spot, and came back a few days later to install it. While he was here, he asked if everything was working now that we turned off the load controller. I told him our disposal had stopped working. Despite the fact that he said that had nothing to do with the load controller because our dishwasher was still working and they run on the same circuit, he took a look and, again, was able to diagnose the problem and fix it in very short order. And he did this extra work just to be kind, because my husband was away. I was happy for a painless experience. I will definitely use him again!

Our front load clothes washer was having issues - would not run. I tracked down the problem to something was binding it up but the motor was good. Roger came out and confirmed, took the washer back to his shop, fixed within two days and brought it back. This was a pain in the rear fix because of how the washer was engineered. He also took the time to answer my questions on the nasty hard water deposit dishwasher and recommended lime-a-way to rectify (it just works). I am of the opinion that Roger ate it on this job because the door switch broke off in transit from his shop to my house and he had to come over to replace that. I found North Valley Appliance Service LLC here on Angie's list and called them because of the ratings. I will definitely call him again when necessary.

They are abolsutely excellent. He keeps his appts on time. He does an excellent job for the money. If anything goes wrong he makes sure he get it fixed. I woudn't call anyone else for appliance repair. I have used him about 4 times already.

Roger was terrific and the jobs handled perfectly. We had other repair people try to fix the washing machine without success...Roger correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem in one visit. The ice maker repair was likewise done quickly, professionally, and all of the repairs done in under 2 hours. When we need appliance repair in the future, we will be calling Roger and North Valley Appliance again. And Angie's List comes through again with excellent company backgrounds and recommendations.

I run a business myself and know what customer service is. North Valley Appliance is first rate. On time , informative with no run around. Very friendly, went straight to work and had my refrigerator up and running in less than a half an hour. The only shock was the bill, about half what I had expected. I highly recommend this company !!!!!

I called and Roger Kroulik (Owner & Technician) came the next day when promised. He tended to the problem and fixed it in less than an hour. He charged a very fair price. I am very pleased and would enthusiastically recommend Roger to anyone without qualification.

Our family went on vacation and when we came home we ended up having a warm refrigerator. The freezer still worked however, we lost all of our food on the fridge side. We called Roger on a Monday to come out and take a look around 3:45 and he stated he would be there by 5. He was very punctual and knew exactly what to do. He had the exact part and was done with his work in about 45 minutes. He was very honest and did quality work. I was very pleased I did not have to buy a new refrigerator.

Great service, very kind, came back to continue to diagnose the problem -- he didn't want to the the most expensive thing right away. All in all very pleased.

Called Roger around 12 noon, after our washing machine overflowed, and he made it out withing a couple hours the same afternoon. Found the problem and showed us it was a simple fix, and he was done in about 20 minutes. Very happy with the response and service, thanks Roger!

Poor Roger! He came out himself first thing on a Monday. We had to pull our refrigerator out of a TIGHT custom cabinet space, with barely enough room for him to get behind the refrigerator (call it 8 sq ft). It was hot and sweaty back there, but he diagnosed the problem right away... had even brought the right part with him! Roger had it fixed in half an hour, and only charged me for that much. How do you find honest, competent service like that these days? I will use him exclusively, and recommend him to all my friends and neighbors.

Arrived home from work to a WARM refrigerator. I jumped on Angie's List and saw the ratings for this provider and thought I would give it a try. It was 5:30 on a Friday, Roger answered the phone said he was at another job but was willing to come see what the problem was. He arrived approx. 30 min later, looked at Fridge and seemed to know right away what the problem was AND he had the part! I had to move frozen food to my other freezer but that was no problem, he asked for boiling water to defrost the coils and shortly after the defrost, had the new part in and my unit is working! My unit is 12 years old and I was considering buying a new one but since it has been fixed it works like it did when it was new, it is quiet again and the refrigerator part is cold as it should be! I highly recommend this provider he is professional and no nonsense. The fee for service after the Angie discount was more than fair and reasonable. I will recommend and use this provider again for appliance repair needs.

The door on the refrigerator would not close properly. Called Roger on Thursday, he came out the next day and fixed the problem in 15 minutes or so. Gave us the 10% Angie's List discount. Fast, dependable, professional service at a reasonable price. Will definitely phone Roger for any future appliance repairs. I always like to look at the histogram, and see what percentage of "A" reviews a company gets compared to other companies. I was particularly impressed by the fact that 99% of the reviews for North Valley Appliance have been "A"'s.

Our tenant said the repairman arrived ontime, was very professional, and fixed the problem. I handled the billing with Roger on the phone. From the initial contact with North Valley Appliance to payment for service everything went smooth. Couldn't ask for anything better.

He was here promptly and it didn't take long to fix the washer. He was pleasant to deal with and very courteous.

I called Roger in the morning and he came out that afternoon to perform my repairs. Roger arrived a half hour early to the appointment. He was friendly and polite. He had the washing machine repair diagnosed within 5 minutes. The second repair was handled just as well. He performed some tests and found that the ice maker needed to be replaced. I had replaced the value the year prior and he could have told me that needed to be replaced as well but he said it was functioning correctly. I greatly appreciated his honesty. I would use this company again and will refer them to my friends and neighbors.

It went great and I was well pleased, possibly the best service and cheapest I have ever had in in my life. I described what went down above and if you want an honest and fair repairman; just call the man. he serves manly the Glendale area.

My washer started to sound like an airplane taking off. When I could hear it spin in my bedroom on the other side of the house, I knew I had a problem. I called Roger and he knew exactly what I was talking about, gave me a quote, came out when I was available and had it back the next business day. He also serviced my dryer when he came to pick up my washer. It works perfectly.

The defective washer wasn't worth repairing. Nice guy - very competent. Very professional.
