Honestly, my experience has been terrible. In February 2007 without reason Bernard Allison's automatic home owners dues withdrawal system stopped taking funds out of my checking account. I immediately contacted Justin, the property manager, and explained the situation. He called back and said that he does not know why it stopped deducting, but that I would have to resolve the issue by providing new paperwork and a voided check. I immediately drove to his office and handed him both the filled out application and paper work. March and April passed and still there were no funds being removed from my account. Once again I called up Justin and asked for help in resolving the issue. He promised that it would start soon. In May I purchased a second home in Seattle. During the process I inadvertently became involved with a fraudulent lender and was advised it was best to close all of my accounts. I immediately contacted Justin and told him I needed to provide a new check due to the closing of my account. For the second time, I drove to Bernard Allison and provided a new check with the hope of being reinstated in their auto withdrawal system. June came around and I still did not have any funds withdrawn from my account. I again called Justin and he apologized for the situation and assured that the funds would be removed no later than August. At this point I became completely irritated. August 5th came around and I still had no funds removed from my account. I immediately called Bernard Allison and asked to speak with Justin's manager. I was transferred to Rhonda, his boss, and left a detailed message explaining the situation and asked her to call me back. She never has returned my phone call. Two days ago, 20 months after this situation began, I received a notice that they intended to put a lien on my house. It is not a big deal, because I have the money and agree that I owe the cash, but what frustrates me is why did it have to come to this? How hard must a person try to force someone to do their job? I called Bernard Allison and spoke to a wonderful agent named Rosanna. I explained the situation in detail and it seemed as if I was closer than ever to getting this situation resolved. She explained that she would talk with Rhonda and work on resolving this problem. This morning I received a call from Rhonda and I began to explain the situation. She immediately began to cut me off and talk over me. She started ranting and raving about how I do not pay my bills. The last I heard was her screaming "Pay your bills" before she hung up on me. I try to find humor in her statements. After all, all I ever wanted to do is pay my bill. I have called the owner and have not heard back from them and have sent emails to several of the officers of the company. Truly the only thing I want to do is to be pay my bills and if at all possible be listened to and not yelled at. My advice, stay clear of Bernard Allison.
