I was impressed on how thorough the inspection was. When the service was scheduled, they arrived on time and wasted no time getting to work. I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it worked out pretty good, I guess. We have not had any termite problems. They came in and did the work all in a few hours and then they were gone. They seemed to be very proficient and very professional. Our interaction with the provider was really very good. It worked out fine and there was no extra charge. The only thing they did not do was that they forgot to leave us a contract when they left. We had to call them and ask them to send it to us. Other than that everything was fine. Their price was very reasonable and their responsiveness was good. It rained the first time they were scheduled to come so they had to put it off until it stopped raining. It rained for three days and then they came out and did it. They did as good as the weather would allow.

They found some activity so they did some treatment of the house. They also did some drilling in that area of the activity. We call them yearly now and they did not charge anything this time.

Considering we had termites it was a good experience. We have a pest control company that we use, but I wanted a termite company to come out and take care of it...wasn't going to take any chances with termites coming back! Termite co. came out and showed me all the mud tubes around the perimeter of my house and assured me they could take of it. They were very thorough and professional. It has been 2 months and termite free!!!!

Both RJ and Richard gave us some useful info about termites, what to look for in the future, etc. Richard gave us his cell to call if we see anymore evidence of damage in the next few weeks.

It went great. They were very professional, very clean, very quick in terms of what they needed to do, and they seem to know their business. It was a very professional, well-put together company and they met all their time commitments. I don't think I'll have to hire them again because it's guaranteed for 10 years so I guess they could be considered to being hired for 10 years when you look at it that way.

Had a full termite inspection and 10 year treatment when we bough our house in the fall of 2011. When we came back form a 4 month extended trip, there were two :casings" in the main room ceiling. Called for an inspection the week of Thanksgiving and was given a late Friday appointment date which was canceled. New appointment for Dec. 3rd and they called before showing up right on time. The Good: Agreed that there was evidence of termite activity and sprayed behind the baseboard. The bad: They were in & out in under 5 minutes, did not remove the casings and didn't inspect anywhere. The Good: I email and asked if this was normal and received a call stating that "NO" this is not the way it should have been handled and would I mind if a Operations Manager came to inspect the next day. Heath Greer called before arriving and spent almost an hour going over the whole house. He apologized for the unprofessional service call and walked me through where the termites were coming from, how they got access and how the treatment was going to prevent any more visits. He scheduled next years inspection, removed the casing and left me with a really good feeling about being protected from termites. Yes, I recommend you use Action Termite Control and I assure you that they will make sure you are happy with their service.

My house had been covered by another company that had provided termite protection and warranty for at least two decades, and they had finally closed their doors. This company, Action Termite, was handed all of their business. My husband passed away earlier in the year after a four year battle with cancer, and renewing my termite protection had lapsed by a period of two months by the time I made contact with Action Termite, which I explained over the phone. They sent out an inspector who immediately began criticizing everything in sight, making unnecessary comments about an addition to the house, the size, that he wasn't moving anything, he would never warranty this house (he hadn't even looked at it yet), etc. The house was built in 1978, and we had renovated in '07 when we were able to see no termite damage when all the drywall was down, but this house has never had an addition. I wrote a letter to this company with all the details stating that I was treated very poorly, especially in light of our family's situation with the head of household having passed away. The inspector was quite rude and rather like a bully, as he left with his back to me sauntering out the door saying 'have a good rest of the day.' I am very upset that this company sent me such a creepy person to disturb my household with his ill presence. Don't know how else to say it, but they have been told about it with no response. I would never have anything to do with them.

When I found termite tunnels in my bathroom, I was really upset. They did the job quickly and left no problems for me. Having to drill holes around the foundation and on the back patio to insert the pesticide, I was concerned but the holes were fixed to my satisfaction. | | |

After discovering evidence of termites inside our bedroom, I called Action Termite after finding them here on Angie's List. They were able to come out the next day to do an assessment/ inspection. (They actually could have come out the SAME day, but my work schedule did not permit that.) The employee who did the inspection, Jeremy, was very courteous and explained in detail what would be entailed in treating our home. He was able to schedule a team to come out the next day to do the job. That team, led by Robert, arrived promptly and got right to work. Robert explained what they were doing, and added some additional treatment into one wall (this was included in the cost, there was no additional charge) to ensure that the termite activity was addressed in the most thorough and swift manner possible. The work involved drilling holes into some concrete outside, as well as very small holes in the one interior wall. It was virtually impossible to tell where the drilling had happened inside or out, because they patched it up perfectly and cleaned everything up so well. Three things about this process stood out for me: 1) Scheduling was a breeze. On both days, they called 20 -30 minutes before arriving to inform me specifically when they would be here, and arrived when they said they would. 2) They were very clear about the cost and the service; there was no "hard sell", and the services were clearly spelled out in detail. 3) My husband and I have several cats, and the Action employees were very careful not to let any of them out. They were very kind to our cats as well. This means a LOT to us. :) I would recommend this company in a heart beat -- they are professional, prompt, courteous, and made an unpleasant issue like termites extremely easy to deal with. We could not be happier with the level of service we received from Action Termite.

I had found some termite tunnels around the base of my home and was looking for a termite treatment company on Angie's List and contacted this company which was highly rated on Angie's list. The staff arrived on time and got right to work. They dug a small trench around the perimeter of my house and applied the material. Then filled in the trench. Where there was concrete, they drilled out a hole in the concrete and poured the material in through the holes, then they refilled them. The staff answered all of my questions and did not make me feel like I was annoying them or asking "dumb" questions. All of the forms were electronic and I received a copy of my contract and warranty in my email. The web interface was easy to navigate and easy to understand.
