+ -1 moreI gave them a total of $225 check. The $95 is for the diagnostic or checking things that needs to be done with my oven. Apart from not being able to fulfill the job, they've become unresponsive now. I've been reaching out with them but receives no response at all. I just want my $130 back as I had my oven done by the other company. I think they're a con company.

Description of Work: I had two skin conditions on my face (one was basal cell carcinoma and the other was actinic keratosis). After reviewing local skin doctors in the Mesa/Tempe area, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Love. I was able to get in right away. He was very prompt, courteous, and informative of my condition. He treated one of the skin conditions and referred me to another skin specialist to have surgery. I was very impressed by his service.

+ -1 moreAmazing. There's not a single thing I can complain and criticize. The staff was excellent, I was able to get in within a few days, the doctor listened to what I had to say, answered all my questions, and generally made me feel like I mattered. I've recommended him to two of my friends, each of which felt the same as me.
Description of Work: General check-up / cancer screening, and had a spot on my shoulder, and one on my side, that I wanted to doctor to take a look at.

+ -1 moreI did get some treatments right then, so I was glad to not have to make another appointment. But on healing, one seems incomplete, so I may have to go back - but I would not hesitate to go back to him.
Description of Work: Derm check. He seemed over-booked, but I can't complain because they had gotten me in quickly. He seems very on-the-ball and knowledgeable.

From the minimal registration form to the warmth of his receptionist to the doctor's incredible manner, this was an experience that minimized patient discomfort and maximized healing. He actually came to the door himself to tell me to come back to the examination room. That, all by itself, was a unique experience. And then he was warm and explained things clearly and took all the time I needed.
Description of Work: I had a growth on my face that I needed the doctor to check.

+ -1 moreHe was very pleasant. My expectations was that I would have all of my skin looked at. I was expecting my first visit to be more of an examination. I would go back to this office again, but I feel like it was my fault as much as any that I didn't ask. The old office I came from always did this and I expected this office to be the same. There was nothing bad about my visit. The office staff was nice and the doctor was punctual. Everything went well.
Description of Work: My main concern was the wart under my chin.

+ -1 moreThe office is deep inside a large medical complex, but finding the right building and a parking space was easy. Small staff was friendly and efficient, and the new patient paperwork consisted of a single page to fill out. There was one patient ahead of me in the waiting room, and Dr. Love acknowledged me and apologized for the wait when he personally called the other patient back. Really, no apology was necessary as I had only been waiting less than five minutes at that point, and it was still a few minutes before my appointment time. Dr. Love is clearly quite competent and efficient. He is also genuinely friendly, and answered all of my questions. He correctly diagnosed my condition virtually immediately (my GP had misdiagnosed it), and prescribed a treatment that my GP had never considered. One day later, the treatment is obviously working.
Description of Work: I had a minor skin problem that was not responding to treatment options provided by my GP. Found Dr. Love through Angie's List, called, and was given an appointment for the following morning.

+ -1 moreThe doctor was very attentive and an excellent communicator of what he found and what he planned to do and why. The work was done very efficiently and effectively. My only complaint is that it took two appointments to get the work done: 1) an initial examination, and 2) a return trip to have the mole removed. I feel that both could have been done in one visit, saving me the trouble of two trips. Other than that, the entire experience was excellent.

+ -1 moreYou never know what to expect when you go to a new doctor. This was a great experience for me. The Doctor greeted me personally when I was called. (not just put into a room by a nurse to wait for the doctor) Once in the exam room, he covered everything I needed to know and then proceeded to remove the bad spots I came to have removed. I felt like I was not rushed and my treatment went extremely well. We he was finished, he asked me if there was anything else I needed to discuss with him. As much as I hate going to Doctors, I look forward to my next regular exam a year from now.

Description of Work: I had a terrible rash on my left shin for almost a year. Went to two doctors before seeing Dr. Love. No relief. Called two days prior, and they had available appointment. I was impressed with the access. Dr. Love accepts blue cross so I scheduled the appointment. The pre visit paperwork was minimal. (Sometimes you have 30 minutes of forms for a five minute appointment...this burns me). The office staff was efficient, friendly, but not fake. I waited for about 10 minutes before I was taken back to see the doctor. Very acceptable wait time. Dr. Love impressed me in several ways. First, he LISTENED. I am a good historian, and I brought my other creams and prescriptions that did not work. I get extremely irritated if I am not listened to. And he Listened. That is HUGE. AND he is knew what he was talking about. After looking at rash, seeing my other creams that didnt work, and honoring my experience, he told me what it was. And he wrote it down so I could look it p later, which he said he knew I would do. And he encouraged me to read about. And then he told me what to do and how to cure the rash. AND IT WORKED! Most importantly, the rash is gone. Two weeks, and a year of suffering was over. If you have a derm need, I highly recommend Dr. Love.

+ -1 moreIt was quite easy to get an appointment. Dr. Love was very kind and knowledgeable, and made sure that all my questions were answered. The office staff was also quite friendly and efficient. In my experience, it is hard to find both a doctor and staff that I am pleased with, but this was the case with Dr. Love and his office. If I have any future need for a dermatologist, I will be contacting Dr. Love.

+ -1 moreI did have to wait 3 week for an appointment. I also waited for 45 minutes at the office until I was seen. Once he is in the room, it is as if you are his only patient. He is very kind and worth the wait.
Description of Work: I saw Dr Love for a second opinion. The first dermatologist I saw recommended surgical removal of a clogged duct as my only option. Dr Love cleared the duct in his office on my fist visit. It healed perfectly :)

+ -1 moreI was VERY impressed with Dr. Love. He is friendly and knowledgeable. In fact, I made another appointment to take my other daughter to him. I will recommend him to everyone. How often do you have a doctor who actually calls you back right away? I cannot rate the treatment yet but I am satisfied that Dr. Love knows what he is doing -- if this medication doesn't work, I know he will suggest something else.
Description of Work: My daughter has a mild case of acne so I called to schedule an appointment. Luckily, the appointment was in several days. He looked at her acne and a spot on her leg and was able to diagnose the problems and what to do about them. Because my daughter takes other medications, he was very careful to make sure they would not interact with what she already takes. After we left his office, he called to explain that we should check with her other doctor to make sure the medications would not interact before we filled them. Then this morning, after the weekend, he called to tell me he had thought about her all weekend and decided to change the medication, which had not been filled at his suggestion until we heard from the other doctor. He explained his concerns and why he wanted to change to a different medication.
