VERY responsive and professional company. Audra is fantastic. She is very professional and they use state of the art technology for their quotes. Excellent resources to choose items in design from. They offered a $90 design service that includes 3D CAD rendering of the room/project. Audra was extremely professional, timely and responsive. The reason we did not select them is they were by far the highest cost quote. There is little doubt they know what they are doing, have quality resources and would do a thorough and professional job. However, since cost was a consideration, they were just too high for us to go with.

Prior to Sunset starting, I performed all demolition, which included removal of all drywall and floor and wall tile, relocation of plumbing and valves, relocation of electrical circuits and demolition of a Roman tub that was set below ground. I also provided and installed the sink, vanity, lighting, and fixtures. Sunset relocated the tub drain and removed a small section of the concrete floor. They built a curbless flat floor level entry stall shower where the Roman tub had been located. They installed and finished the drywall and provided most of the tile and all of the setting materials. They arranged to have a stone vanity top and a shower door fabricated and installed. The tile work which included creating the shower surround, the entire floor and a wall of glass tile behind the vanity is excellent. They were very professional and easy to work with. Audra, their designer had some great ideas and was very helpful during the planning stages. They created a plan and a time frame and all work was completed as planned. In the last 2 years I have remodeled my kitchen and another bathroom so I am very familiar with this process. This was the first time I used Sunset. These guys are the best contractors I have ever dealt with. I would recommend them to anyone that requires this type of work.

I will try to keep this short. This company should be an example for all contractors. Mark from the start listened to every detail and nailed it exactly as we wanted. His help in choosing all the products was a great help and Paul on the job was equally as great with suggestions or getting it the way we wanted. If you want an honest and great experience I recommend this company. They have an excellent crew doing the work. Like a couple of reviews stated I had to wait a couple of months to begin, but that means they are in demand and they were definitely worth the wait. Professional, clean and produce a fantastic finished product. What more can you ask for.

We called a few contractors to bid on our guest Bathroom remodel; we chose Mark based on the way he handled the bidding process, but it was still a gamble since we had never used the company before. As time went by, we noticed every step of the remodeling was a pleasant surprise. The workmanship is SUPERB (I don't use this word lightly), the crew was professional, courteous, clean, and fun to work with. Both Mark and Paul are fantastic, they handled every request with responsiveness, professionalism and expert's knowledge. When we were stuck, they provided great solutions and advices. Half way into the guest bathroom project, we decided to have Sun Set Tile working on our master bathroom. Mark wanted us to think through every single detail during the planning, by the time we signed the contract, everything was mapped out such as the model, S/N of a fixture, the pattern to lay out tiles and the grout color...etc. In our professions, we are trained to well plan in order to remove uncertainties and risks; Mark's approach is exactly what we have hoped for. We made some changes that were handled by change orders and associated additional cost, the process worked very well. From Sun Set Tile, We have learned the RIGHT way to do a bathroom through both projects. We know that good workmanship takes time, and good product takes money; there is no way around that. We are extremely happy with the outcome of both projects; we will use Sun Set Tile for any future home improvement projects. The only regret we have is that we wish Sun Set Tile had remodeled our hall bathroom that was completed 6 months earlier. Nonetheless, they fixed the problems and made the hall bathroom much better than it was just completed.

Everything went great! Not too much to say.

Her prices were competitive with other contractor estimates for the master bath. I did not have other contractors price the kitchen. She was helpful and knowledgeable about design and contrucion and provided an estimate based on my selections in shop. The estimate could have been a bit more detailed, but I understood the contents and pricing. Ultimately, the project had to be put off for a while. The neat thing about Sunset was that they could do a 3-D rendering of what the finished project might look like. I really liked that a lot. When or if I do the project in the future, I would call them again.

Sunset Tile & Bath has been the best contractor I have ever engaged in my 40+ years of home ownership. From the start of the process when Mark came to discuss his company and perform measurements through to the end of the remodel, the professionalism, the quality of the work and the individual workers themselves has been outstanding. Sunset has a complete showroom which includes tile, cabinets, showers, tubs, toilets and fixtures. You are not left to go out and search for tile or shower glass or counter tops. Using his computer aided design software, Mark can actually show you a picture of what your finished product will look like. Sunset also has a professionally trained designer on staff who, if you need her, can provide ideas and develop a professional plan for bathrooms and kitchens. All the workers are actual employees of Sunset which means that the timing of steps in the process is always in sync with one another, the project moves along smoothly and communication is easy and efficient. The work is done with the highest quality materials and industry recognized best practices. The finished product is frankly above my highest expectations. This high praise is not overstated and many others know it because if Sunset Tile has any problem, it is that they are in too much demand. You may wait a few weeks for work to start, but that wait is far outweighed by the quality of work and the finished product.

They did a fantastic job! From start to finish I give them an A. The design process went well. Yes I had to wait a couple of months for them to start, but it was worth the wait. The bathrooms turned out just gorgeous and our master bath looks like an upscale spa bathroom and we love it! I highly recommend them.

I felt the cost was a little more but it was completely worth it. The employees had a different job each day and they all seemed happy to be working for Sunset Tile & Bath Inc. I felt comfortable leaving my home while they were there doing the work. They were even nice to my dog and played with him. The remodel took about 3.5 weeks.

We were extremely happy with the results. All work was done in a timely and professional manner. The workmen were all very courteous and made sure that noise and messes were kept to a minimum. At the end of each day, the workmen cleaned up their area to ensure that the house was as livable as possible while the work was being done. Mark, the owner, was in constant contact to ensure that we were happy with the work and to coordinate on timing of work to be performed. We will definitely use Mark and his team again in the future.

Mark showed up on time to our appointment to have him assess our kitchen remodel. He listened to our desires and added professional advice where needed. He proceeded to take measurements and took pictures on his tablet after listening to us. I am one of those folks that like a business like approach to these visits and that's what I received. I visited his showroom and was impressed with the variety of products to choose from. I would have chose Sunset would it have not been for a few dollars and a busy schedule for them. I will be calling them for any future projects because they were so impressive. You can't hire everyone and they seemed like a solid company with a solid reputation. Sorry Mark, maybe next time.

They did everything we agreed on, plus. The Angie's List discount was substantial, when a cabinet door was too dark they ordered another and seemed to want perfection as much as I did. I am very pleased.

First of all, we purposely held off writing a review to see if any issues would come up after the work was completed. After interviewing 4 other contractors from other companies, we met with Mark from Sunset Tile & Bath. We are glad he was the last one we interviewed because he was able to clearly show us what professionalism is supposed to be like! We liked how Mark was up front and to the point about everything. He showed up at our home on time, surveyed our extremely ugly and outdated shower, made some wonderful suggestions, took measurements, and explained he would need a week to come up with a quote. Once again, Mark was on time with his quote. He was in the same price range with the other contractors, but he was the only one who actually took the time to give an actual itemized quote on what was involved. Not only that, but Mark supplied us with tons of references. We checked several, and his past clients couldn't say enough good about the company. So, needless to say, we hired them. The first day, Paul and his crew showed up on time and explained in detail what was going to happen each day. I have to say, Paul is a gem and so is his crew. Paul is very approachable if you need a question answered, and he resolves issues promptly. Tony is also one we dealt with alot and he is extremely polite and professional. Antonio was great to work with, as was AJ. I have to mention that AJ is the tile guy for their company and he is awesome. He is a true artist with tile! Everyone, from start to finish, was extremely polite and professional. No cussing. No throwing things. No tantrums. Just polite, professional, and obviously loving what they do. The team finished on time, even with a few issues. These issues were minor, and as I said before, Paul resolved them so quickly, we didn't have time worry about them! All in all, a great experience. Thanks to Mark's expertise in design suggestions, and the teams impeccable quality in workmanship, our shower looks wonderful and so do our cabinets. So, as far as any issues coming up since they've finished, there are none! We are extremely happy with the job. We are saving up to have our kitchen remodeled and it's nice to know we don't have to look anywhere else but Sunset Tile for our next project. We HIGHLY recommend them!

From start to finish our experience with Sunset was terrific. Their estimates were accurate and we never felt like they were "nickle and diming" us on the jobs. We knew what it was going to cost from the very beginning and they stuck to their estimates. They were extremely helpful and patient with all of our questions, changes and inability to make decisions. Their workmen were always on time and were professional and pleasant to deal with, with no exceptions. The workers were courteous and made every effort to disturb me as little as possible when they were here. They were a great bunch to deal with and I enjoyed having them all in our home. Mark and Paul were very responsive and great to deal with. We could not be happier with the results of their work. Both bathrooms are absolutely stunning and their workmanship was outstanding. We would heartily recommend Sunset for any project and will use them again when we remodel our kitchen.

As we expected (from our last experience with them), the process started and finished on time and was pretty much what we expected. There were a couple o fquestions/ challenges with design around the windows and the microwave depth versus the cabinet depth, but they were resolved to our satisfaction. I guess what we like most about this company is that they are pretty straightforward with their approach to things, they take pride and responsibility for their work, and thei team of employees are professional and trustworthy - Mark, Audra, Paul, AJ, Tony, Tony, Andrew, Cesar.

Sunset was great. Started on time, completed according to schedule. We supplied drawings of what we thought we wanted. Audra, the designer, came up with great suggestions that we hadn't considered. She helped us to design the perfect kitchen. The workmen were punctual and professional. Caesar, the tile guy, was great. And special mention goes to Andrew, jack of all trades, for whom it seemed nothing was beyond his experience. Always upbeat and good-natured, he made everything seem easy.. Price was a little higher than we had hoped, but lower than some others we had interviewed. I felt that there might have been better communication between the office and the workers, but this was a minor issue. Contrary to another review I read, they did not require the final payment until everything on our punch list was rectified. We'll have them back to bid on our master bath when we're ready.

Audra came out for the estimate on time. She was professional and had a design eye, and clearly knew what she was doing. The estimate was timely, and although 25 per cent higher than the other bids, we liked her enough that we agreed to take a chance. We contacted the references, and one of them told us to go over the estimate sheet exactly or what we said verbally would not happen. They were right and we made a mistake. Even though we had requested the toilet be moved over a Few inches, we failed to catch it on the final work order and it wasn't done. The only other complaint is that we were promised the job would take 2 weeks and it took 4. Having said that, the work was OUTSTANDING and the tile work was perfect! Every aspect of the job was done with a master touch. The workers cleaned up at the end of each day and were polite. Paul called several times to update the status of the job. We plan to use them again.

Outstanding process from start to finish. After reading Angie's list contacted Sunset Tile. Audra ,design consultant, came to our house and talked with us concerning our likes/dislikes about the existing rooms. She then made a rough layout and cost and sent it to us. We talked a bit and came up with a final layout. Audra then brought us into the Sunset tile showroom and offered suggestions as to materials. This was particularily important to us as we knew there were many trends and selections. Being an excellent designer and listener Audra was able to give us the help we wanted. Having travertine tile already in the rooms Audra suggested some new to the market porcelin tile and accent for the showers. All the suggestions were exremely helpful and my wife and I made our final selections at this time. Audra then sent us a detailed line by line item cost. We discussed some changes and and agreed to have Sunset Tile do the work. Both jobs were scheduled to be completed in six weeks. Start date was scheduled and prior to that date Paul,supervisor, called and told me who was going to arrive and what time. Tony arrived at the scheduled time and the work commenced. Tony did the demo and rough plumbing, Mike did the tile work. Paul,Caesar,Frank, and Tony and his father finished the jobs. Mike the owner of Sunset Tile dropped by a couple of times to check with me about the work. Every business day Sunset tile personnel were at my house doing work until finished. Paul kept me informed me as to what to expect, when, and took care of any of my concerns. The work was done expertly by professionals whose main work is remodeling. Also though scheduled for six weeks the work was completed in five. My wife and I are extremely happy with the remodel and would highly recommend Sunset Tile to anyone.

HORRIBLE. I only called him because of his perfect A's on Angies List. When he found out we were not doing an entire remodel, he almost laughed. Apparently our budget was a joke to him. He had NO unique ideas, NO solutions, and said our job would be a 'filler' job. Wow, thanks. Totally worthless.

We researched and got bids from several contractors in the Phoenix area. We selected Sunset because of their high ratings and reviews but the primary reason was because of Audra. Audra won our business as she came prepared for our first visit with estimates and ideas on a house that we had recently bought and needed to remodel and update. She listened to what we wanted done and came back the next day with a complete plan including computer generated pictures. We remodeled the master bath, updated the other bathrooms, kitchen, fireplace, lighting, repaired drywall, textured ceilings, painted and replaced all the flooring. She was simply outstanding to work with! We don't live in AZ and did this project remotely and Audra made that very easy. She understood what we wanted to accomplish and came up with a detailed plan and kept us informed with update calls, emails and pictures along the way. I am a very detailed person and was very specific about what I wanted and how the finished product should look and Audra and her team didn't disappoint! Sunset Tile and Bath wasn't the low bid....but they were competitive. They didn't take shortcuts and did the job right....the first time! Audra made it easy to work through changes. She stayed on top of the project and made sure that the work was done right and any touch-ups done timely. Remodeling can be a challenge and a headache... especially if you choose the wrong contractor. The owner Mark runs a good company and thanks to his great team led by Audra we took a dated worn out house and brought it back to life! I would highly recommend them for your remodel job!

We received estimates for this bathroom project from 5 companies. Sunset Tile and Bath did not offer the lowest price. However, we decided to go with them because of Audra. She was - by far - the most professional and knowledgable individual that came out to our house to look at what needed to be done. The project started and ended on time, which has been rare in our 20 years of remodeling projects! We have owned several houses throughout the years and have dealt with a variety of contractors and remodeling companies - some not so good. This company stands out as being prompt, professional, knowledgeable and responsive. We had one hiccup after everything was completed in that the first time I tried to use the jetted tub, it did not work. This was a little aggravating as we were going on a trip and couldn't have it fixed right away. However, promptly on our return, the issue was resolved (by Mark, I think) and everything is working great now. Everyone who works for this company is just really professional, accommodating and friendly. Audra did a great job offering alternatives/suggestions and picking out the tile and jetted tub for us. AJ did a great, detailed job installing it (love, love, love the way the tile looks)! Tony and Tony were great too! Sorry, cannot remember anyone else's name. Everyone arrived on time each day, kept the work areas clean, and provided status updates. We will definitely get an estimate from Sunset Tile and Bath when we decide to redo the kitchen!

We began working with Sunset in the summer of 2011. We worked with Mark, whom we found to be personable, knowledgable and, most important, thorough. He came to the house to measure the rooms and to work with us to develop a preliminary redesign. His detailed cost estimate and domputer drawings were prepared in a matter of days, after which we spent a full day at Sunset's showroom discussing options for cabinetry, fixtures, floor and enclosure tile, granite countertops and the like. Again, Mark led us through the process with the utmost of patience and professionalism. Following this preliminary work, we began a month's vacation, during which we reconsidered the entire remodel. Upon our return, we spent another full day with Mark, going over the entire project and revising a number of elements based on our reconsideration. At the end of this visit, we signed a contract with Sunset for a complete remodel of both baths, beginning November 1, when we left for a 6-week cruise vacation, and ending on December 14, when we expected to return home. During our time away, Mark regularly emailed us photos of Sunset's progress and raised any questions that had arisen during construction. Upon our return, Mark's brother, Paul, handled promptly and professionally the handful of changes that we requested. The end result: two bathrooms remodeled exactly as we wanted, on time and in budget. We are delighted with Sunset's work and highly recommend them to others looking to undertake major remodeling.

Great customer service & workmanship from everyone we dealt with at Sunset Tile. We are planning additional bath remodel with them later this year.

Started out great, very prompt and seemed professional. Vanity not measured correctly so it isn't centered in the space for it, I wasn't notified. Details, such as hooks for towels, fell out within two weeks and mirror had to be re-hung. Full payment was requested before the final walk through, so the previous details were not addressed. Took several weeks to get the lock box off my house (approx. three weeks after final payment). On the plus side, the tile guy, Ceasar, did a wonderful job.
