I obtained 3 quotes from highly rated house painting companies. Isaac was by far the most knowledgeable and most responsive. His price was also competitive. I picked Desert Guard because I wanted someone who knew what his was doing and gave me confidence it would be done right. Out of the previous painters I have used and the other quotes I received, Isaac was the only one who told me what needed to be done so our exterior painting would last at least 10 to 12 years. I was tired of taking low bid for painting that would not last over 5 years and showed its wear quickly. He is the only one who advised that the stem wall needed scraping and priming first and that the oxidized areas needed a separate primer first. He also advised what type of repair was needed for each crack, stucco spalling or pealed area before re-painting and the type of paint needed for a longer-lasting result. We picked 3 colors - 1 for wood trim at the roof, 1 accent for stucco pop-outs and the body color for the house, fence and mailbox. His crew completed everything within 1.5 days. Two came and started the repairs and prep work and 2 more came to speed up the painting for the body color. The last morning, 3 came to finish the trim, touch up and clean up. This was the best painting result we have had.

I have never written a review before for anyone doing work at our home. Isaac is the most incredible person we have ever had on our property to do any kind of work. I contacted five companies and after speaking with Isaac, I cancelled all other appointments. It is unfortunate that he can't just work for us on everything we need to have done here from now on. The completed project is so beautiful. He went beyond what my expectations were . The two gentleman who work for Isaac were here for two weeks. They did an excellent job on everything from stucco, crack repair, sealing, staining and painting. This country would be so much better if there were more people like the owner,Isaac. Isaac was wonderful! He came out & gave us an estimate same day it was requested for home painting. His knowledge of the steps to an excellent outcome impressed us so much that we didnâ t get any other estimates & hired him & his team. The team assigned to our project were Abdulio & Edwardo Carlos - we couldnâ t have asked for a better team - we loved them!! Our home is a Santa Fe style apx 2,200 sq ft & they also painted our wood oven, large planter, retaining wall. They spent the first day taping plastic to protect our flagstone & other surfaces & expertly repairing any cracks in the stucco. Their attention to detail was remarkable. The next day they did the painting using a sprayer. So in 2 days we went from a home in need of a paint job to a home that looks brand new. My husband and I are very fussy so to be this impressed says a lot for Isaac & his team. We would hire them again in a heartbeat - reliable, hard working, meticulous & professional.

Pricey and 0 follow up after the job. Left telltale ceiling/wall bare spots, masking tape and unpainted areas where masked.
