Description of Work: I called early mon. am for appointment, garbage disposal not working and water all over cabinet floor. I was told if tue would be ok they had another appt. in my town at ten am and they could come to my house at noon. long story short-office scheduler didn't cover ten am apt and I called twice and plumber showed up at 3pm installed new disposal was there less than thirty min. $89 an hour for less than 30 min and 3 hours late. schedulers need training poor customer service.

Description of Work: My husband called a plumber, but got no response. So I found Allied Plumbing on Angie's List, and emailed them. Hubby decided to call them. Bradley was there within a couple of hours and gave us an estimate to move an outdoor water hydrant to a different spot, and replace all the plumbing under the kitchen sink. We set up the work day for November 11, 2015, arrival time between 8 and 9 a.m. Before that day arrived, we called and added one more job - connecting the icemaker line to the fridge. Bradley and Will arrived close to 9 a.m. and started to work. He told us exactly what he was going to do, and then did it all, finishing around noon. The floor was swept by Will and things cleaned up. They did an excellent job, and were very professional and nice. I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Pumped out septic tank and located and cleared a clogged main drain. We were very satisfied with both services provided. We had the septic tank pumped since it had not been done in years by previous owners but our problem remained. Company dispatched plumbers within a few hours and they isolated and fixed clog very quickly.

Description of Work: replaced wax seals on 2 commodes. One still leaked odors. repaired at no charge 2 days later.

Description of Work: Receptionist was fabulous; caring and empathetic to my situation. Responsiveness was excellent; professional and thorough. We had a rock in main sewer line and a misdiagnosed two breaks in line and no clean out. Pretty much whole house stoppage and back up into both downstairs tubs and toilets. Service was complex; cement cutters inside through floor of kitchen and dinning room as well as through driveway. Removal of about 20 feet of cast iron line through foundation subfloor (was actually intact, had been diagnosed as broken in two places), new clean out in driveway. During demolition they broke water line (hadn't turned off water before working) which flooded part of kitchen and most of garage where we still had about 50 cardboard boxes of our stuff from moving in just a couple weeks earlier. They also totally demolished THREE HVAC flumes ( an additional $1K to repair). Rock had tumbled from beneath kitchen floor to underneath garage floor in the four days from diagnostic sewer line camera search to the morning of demolishion. I REALLY wish I had been offered-or suggested to recheck rock position before excavation. I may have been able to only have garage floor and driveway dug up rather than two rooms inside (additional cost of $8K to replace open floor plan floors on first floor!!!!--Excavation was 2'x 25' inside). The work that was performed was good, a shame about the misdiagnosis of two breaks in main sewer line and of not double checking rock location before doing such massive foundation excavation inside. The subcontracted cement cutters totally trashed my home. They brought no tarps to contain water/mud splatter-the walls and ceilings were totally speckled. There was even a muddy construction boot print at knee height in the wall!! The cutter's hydraulic engine left a grease stain in my driveway nearly 10'x10'!!! When they cut through the water line and caused flooding one of their guys remained in his cell phone talking about weekend plans while the rest of us scrambled like crazy to try to remove 50 cardboard boxes of our moving belongings from the garage flooding. Nobody knew how or where to shut the main water off to our home in order to stop the geyser in the middle of the kitchen floor. The plumber got a nasty attitude with my husband, telling him that, "He wasn't running this job, the receptionist wasn't running this job, but he (the plumber) WAS!" It was all down hill communication from there. We had just moved into this home from half way across the country barely two weeks earlier and this was such a horrible experience to have to deal with. Insurance (two policies) covered not one penny! They claimed it was an undisclosed preexisting condition. Whole job took nearly the full week. Plumbing and new floors totaled $12K out if pocket. :( Receptionist was an angel, so kind, professional and caring.

Description of Work: Called about a toilet that wasn't flushing properly. There was nothing obviously wrong--no broken part per se--but the technician worked and worked to try and get it cleaned up and working better. He succeeded in improving the function and warned us that the age of the toilet is the biggest problem. We were satisfied with the service we received, even if we were disappointed there was no good, quick fix.

Description of Work: I had not had my septic tank emptied in 29 years. The back yard has a lot of landscaping so he graciously parked on the drive and used a lot of hose to get back to the tank. Then he made sure it was empty before he cleaned up and put everything away. They did a great job. Yes the price is high, but he was there for a long time and when you divide it by the number of years, it was about $10 per year. Not bad!

Description of Work: Located and pumped septic tank. They located it very quickly and did a through job. They put in a full septic system , lines and tank in our old house and gave us great service that time as well. We will always use them in the future.
