AMERICAN LEAK DETECTION - LITTLE ROCK

I have a water leak in my main water line. My local plumber referred me to American Leak Detection. I called, made an appointment, and waited 3 weeks. The team showed up almost on time and were very polite and professional. The problem is they did NOT repair the leak. This team was only for detection. When I called the office, she said that she told me the $600 was for detection and the repair would be extra. I said I know the repair would depend on the problem, but I had expected a repair the same day. This miscommunication has put me without water for another week while I wait on a local plumber. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

Once on scene they did a quick walk through and then began isolating possible areas until the leak was found in an outside faucet which was on a watering line and therefore no problem was visible. They then quickly fixed the issue and went over a couple of times to make sure that the problem was fixed. Professional - Knowledgeable- and Quick. The service is not cheap but then again an unknown water leak which you have no idea how to stop isn't either. This is my 2nd time to use them over the past 20 years. Hopefully will not need again anytime soon but same kind of problem and they are who I will be calling.

These guys were very professional found water leak that was coming from my hot water heater pipe that ran under my slab and fixed it with a reroute with pex pipe

They identified the location of the leak, as well as confirmed the location of all underground lines involved, which helped me decide how to proceed on the repair.

Matt and Dallas arrived at our home at the scheduled time, they were very polite and professional. Within twenty minutes they located a leak just outside our home. I was pleasantly surprised they did not try and push additional services on me. In fact, they said it would be a while before they could come out and fix the leak, and they recommended contacting another plumbing service. Overall, I greatly appreciate the service provided by American Leak Detection and I would recommend them.

The office staff was responsive and helpful. The crew that found the leak and the crew that performed the work all did a great job. They showed up on time and were up front with potential cost. The only negative was getting the estimate of the work and then getting some clarification of the estimate.

Very pleased with the experience. Explained the work to be done and completed it early.

He checked all possible sources and determined it was in the pipes going to a return. He fixed the leak and then rechecked everything again to be sure there wasn't another leak. We had our contractor cut the concrete and repour the concrete after the repair.

Very professional. Another company told me it could not be done but they found a way to replace 50 year old faucets and left all the tile in place. Excellent and prompt.

Louis & Mike were our plumbers and they were WONDERFUL! Both were so kind and completely dedicated to fixing our plumbing MESS. They were honest, sincere, thorough and detailed in all of their explanations and subsequent repairs (which were MANY!). I would use them again in a heartbeat and have recommended them several times already. What a JOY to find old-fashioned customer service and people who actually ENJOY what they do ---> HELPING people! They made a dismal situation much easier to bear. "THANKS" does not begin to repay them for their service :)

I hired them to find a leak in my pool. Louis Martin was assigned to my job. He called and asked if he could come early to the appointment (pleasant suprise). When he and his assistant arrived they got right to work running diagnostic tests of the plumbing. When that found nothing he donnned scuba gear and soon found the leak (behind the pool light). Patched cleaned up and were out of there. Very professional, very pleasant - gave me his card to call with further issues. Could not reccomend more.

It took Josh and Tyler (helper) an hour to find the leak and another hour to fix it. They were very courteous and cleaned everything up before they left. Their standard charge is $350 for two hours, plus the cost of the parts. While that seems a bit high, most plumbers don't have the gear needed to find leaks that are not obvious, like ours.

The overall experience was very satisfactory. The leak was detected, fixed, and our swimming pool is now working properly. The cost was less than I had anticipated.
