From the first day it was apparent that these guys didn't know what they were doing. They put a table saw in my living room, where one of the men proceeded to cut the tip of his finger off. The rest of the installtion was done by a worker who had personal problems with a girlfriend and spent most of his time on the phone while kicking my wood into place with his boot. They never prepared the subfloor, and the result was a very expensive blunder. The salesman Jeff Sewell, was in and out with no supervision of the disaster that his men were laying out in my living. Corners were cut at our expense. After two inspections of the floor by different contractors, both companies found several mistakes in how the floor was laid. Both suggested the floor be pulled up and reinstalled. Jeff did not admit fault with the problems in how the floor was laid until he was shown what was obvious to real professionals. The floor will be pulled up and reinstalled, but not by this guy. We don't want him anywhere near our house.
Description of Work: We decided to replace the carpet in our living room with a hardwood floor.
